Located outside a small, quiet hamlet (altitude 800 metres) at the end of a winding road, the south-facing barn enjoys panoramic views of the mountains, and is surrounded by fields and woods - with no vis-à-vis! Entirely renovated using ecological materials, the gîte retains all the charm and authenticity of a Pyrenean dwelling, but with all the comfort of a purpose-built gite. The barn caters to everybody – couples, solos, families with children, and walkers with their four-legged friends.

Charming Hiking Barn Altitude 1100m

Welcome to Le Playras, a Shangri-la in the Pyrenees, a secret nest formed by a group of traditional and authentic mountain shepherd huts sitting at 1.100m altitude! A paradise for mountain hikers and nature lovers. The trail around the Biros valley (tour du Biros) passes in front of the door. You can hike right away from home and get on foot onto a network of trails connecting to the GR.10 and the Spanish border. Jump in cold waterfalls and streams or go for mushroom or blueberry picking.

We have two very similar apartments (Dreta i Esquerra), between the two they have a capacity for 10 people.

Welcome to Playras! Come and recharge your batteries in this tiny hamlet, a little piece of heaven perched at 1100 m altitude, facing south. Stunning views of the Spanish border chain. This hamlet is made up of about fifteen old barns, each more beautiful than the last, giving it an indefinable charm! The GR de Pays (Tour du Biros) passes in front of our house. Charming cottage typical of the Ariégeoise Pyrenees

The "La Borde" cottage is an old barn typical of the Ariégeoise Pyrenees located at the entrance to the village of Antras. It has a sunny location and a magnificent view of the mountains facing the Maubermé. In front of the cottage you will have a small terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue to fully enjoy the countryside setting. Access to the cottage is via a small pedestrian path (20 meters from the road).
