You can do multiple routes around the mountain, some as wonderful as Salto del Nervión, climb to Peña Colorada or Pico Marinda and all of them surrounded by horses or cows raised in freedom. You will also have all the comforts and luxuries of a newly renovated house.

Caserío Aurrecoetxe

Aurrekoetxe is a typical Basque farmhouse in the Mañaria area that is over 300 years old. Located below Mount Mugarra, on its southern face, it is surrounded by nature adjacent to the Urkiola Natural Park and just 2 km from the urban center of Mañaria. I live with my mother and my two daughters aged 14 and 11 in the same building but with another separate entrance, respecting the privacy of the guests and our own. We'll be happy to help you with whatever you need.

It is a tower house listed as a historic monument and is part of the Álava medieval tower route. It is located in a unique place, in the Arrastaria valley, with privileged views of the Nervión waterfall, the Salvada mountain range, Tologorri peak... from where you can do numerous hiking and cycling routes.

Tucked on a wild fertile mountain a 400 year old barn was renovated by artists with natural materials. It is crooked, it is colourful, it is wild and will throw you in an another universe for the time of your stay. You have to be nimble on your feet as the tiny access path is crooked and on a slope, and even the floor in the house tilted. A full immersion in a new world for total disconnection.

The Tree House: Refugio Bellota

The tree house was born from our dream of building a magical space near the forest where we live! The house lives with a young oak tree, it is also in front of the large beech forest and you can hear the river that passes right in front. It is totally suspended in the abyss but its stability and firmness are surprising. Our idea is to enjoy it while sharing it with you.
