Peaceful stay for a week. Beautiful elevated location with panoramic views. Rocabella restaurant at the bottom of the track was great if you dont feel like venturing out far, with a varied menu from light bites to main dishes with burgers, steaks and fish.. My advice would would be to grab some basic groceries from a supermarket prior to going up to the house i.e coffee, bread eggs , drinks etc. I travelled with my ederly mother and the accomodation was suitable for our needs as she is unable to manage steps. There is one twin room downstairs with a bathroom and walk in shower which is next to the kitchen , lounge and outside patio so easy access for her with limited mobility. its would not be suitable for a wheelchair however. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with doors opening onto a patio with table and chairs, perfect for your morning coffee to relish the sun rise and sunsets, and also affording privacy if travelling with others in your group. I throughly enjoyed my stay. 😊

Very pleasant chalet close to activities while quiet. Mayte is very pleasant and accessible for any questions. The jacuzzi is very pleasant in the late afternoon to relax with a breathtaking view! The most important thing for us is the cleanliness and comfort of the bed and we had it at Mayte's 🤗

We had a great stay at this villa. The villa was clean, the beds were comfy, the pool was great and the views were stunning! it was approximately 20 mins walk to La Joya and 35 mins to Hotel Fuente del Sol, so was easy to get around as well.

Communication with the hostess was excellent even before arrival. The welcome was warm - the hostess and her partner were extremely helpful and just particularly lovely people. I felt at home there. At the same time, the small house in which you are accommodated with the beautiful garden offers total privacy. The orange trees were allowed to be "plundered" - fresh orange juice every morning. The view of the mountains is magnificent. A wonderful place to chill and be with yourself. In the evening, I heard the bells of the goats from the nearby hills. In addition, some dogs that could almost howl like wolves. I thought it was nice. You can also hear airplanes - but I soon didn't notice that anymore, because I felt so comfortable and the location is also fantastic for that. The place is authentic - you're really in Spain. I hope I can go back there soon. Absolute recommendation.

We had a great week at Finca el Cerro! Pleasant place and away from the city, which gave us a real feeling of vacation. The owner is very kind, thank you so much for hosting us!

Quiet place, with plenty of privacy and very easy to park. Plenty of amenities for those who want to walk around but also enjoy the space. Comfortable place and even with children you can have a good time. The house heats up easily, but with the air conditioning this is easily solved. Friendly and responsive hosts. I recommend it for those who like peace and comfort.

I cannot rate this place high enough. It’s a slice of heaven and a place of dreams. If you want to get away from the world but be close enough to be in Malaga within 15 minutes, I don’t think you can do better. The work and effort that Juan and Ana have put into this place is outstanding. It’s secluded, it’s peaceful, it’s surrounded by beautiful vistas. It’s only 15 minutes from the outskirts of Malaga, but you feel in your own, private world. From here I visited Malaga, Ronda, Cordoba and Granada. I also spent days doing nothing at all, just laying by the pool or swimming, relaxing in peace and reading. It’s such a wonderful place. May I please say a particular thanks to Juan, who is the most charming and friendly host you can hope to meet. The pride and passion he has for the home and the area is incredible. He was an absolute pleasure. Kind hearted and patient while I practiced my terrible Spanish on him. I look forward to returning and miss being there already.

Country house in rural setting, cozy and intimate. Ideal for children, pets and very peaceful. The place is located in the Sierra de las Nieves in the countryside. It's a 1900 country house, renovated and with current comforts. The host (Belen), was very close to solving a problem for us. Very kind and attentive. If you are looking to be quiet and disconnect, I recommend it.

Wonderful experience. Javier was very attentive at all times and helpful. The house is just as described and fully equipped. It made us feel at home. Thank you Javier for the experience, we will be back!!!

Very cozy stay. In the middle of nature to disconnect from everything. Close to Antequera and with a spectacular setting. Antonio, the host, is charming and very attentive. The house is very clean and with all the amenities. We had a very good weekend. Totally recommended. We will be back.

Comfortable house in a beautiful spot very private and spotlessly clean. Good base for exploring and walking. Was the wrong time of year for us to use the pool but the grounds and outside space were really nice too. Only thing would be to have information in the house about how everything worked, what there was to do in the area where to put the rubbish, house rules etc. Overall a great stay.

Walter and Sabina have a dream cabin. It's a beautiful and very peaceful place. The hosts welcomed us and were always charming. I recommend it to everyone who is looking for a little peace. We are already looking forward to repeating!

We stayed for three nights to attend a local wedding. Lovely property in stunning setting. Extremely good value, we had a great time. Ildefonso was very helpful too, would definitely return.

A nice house in a beautiful location. The house is well equipped with all the necessities. The swimming pool is very private and really beautiful with the view. We saw 12 large birds of prey while we were sitting by the pool :) Very cool! A nice place as a base for visiting Ronda and Seville, for example.

Paqui and Jose Antonio were wonderful hosts and met us on arrival in a nearby restaurant to handover keys and direct us to the villa. The villa is superb and perfect for a quiet getaway which is exactly what we were after. It is just a short drive to the town of Coín which has an array of shops and restaurants. We ventured out for some great day trips including Ronda (hour drive west), Nerja (hour drive east), Malaga (30min drive) and a nice quiet beach (Playa del Peñón del Cuervo). The villa felt very spacious for the three of us and could easy accommodate more people. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need as well as an outdoor bbq and great seating. The three of us enjoyed returning to the villa after trips and relaxing round the pool each day. Would certainly recommend for anyone wanting to visit Malaga or the nearby areas and for those looking for a quiet getaway. We would write even more positive feedback if this section did not have a word limit!

My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay at Maria's place. The house is very cozy with all you need to prepare meals at home if you wish. The views over the Ronda countryside were stunning, and the garden surrounding the house was also delightful. Ronda city is just a 15-minute drive away.

We’ve just returned from a wonderful stay at Teresa and José’s beautiful villa and we miss it already. It was charming, authentic and spotlessly clean - it’s even better than the photos. We felt right at home and it had everything we needed. José and Teresa met us at the villa and gave us a warm welcome. The wine, milk, fresh fruit and bread from the local bakery was a lovely surprise. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were extremely helpful and quick to respond to any queries, José even came to remove a small wasp nest for us! We absolutely loved the swimming pool and the views were gorgeous. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable, we wished we could have stayed for longer!

Julie’s place is lovely! Rustic in a beautiful way, up in the mountains and close to the land. Being an eco lodge, it’s solar-powered with some constraints around energy use in the evenings, but this wasn’t an inconvenience for us, even as a group of 8 squeezing in. The outdoor area in particular is special - with a large dining table, grilling area, pool, and sports area, all with spectacular views of the surroundings. Julie is a wonderful host, incredibly kind, communicative and accommodating. If you stay at her place you’ll be in great hands

Odile and Jeepy are the best hosts, they made us feel at home while staying here and were really helpful throughout our trip. Really friendly and sweet couple. The cottage is comfortable and has a nice terrace with a view of the mountains. It's well placed for exploring the surrounding countryside, and less than half an hour from Marbella. We'd love to come back for a longer stay some day.

A great place to spend time with family, surrounded by mountains. Parents will find peace, while kids can have fun in the pool. Everyone enjoyed playing ping pong in the terrace. Inside the house, there’s enough space for two families. There are air conditioners in every room, although we didn’t use them at all – even when it was +30°C outside, the house stayed pleasantly cool. Arriving at the villa at night felt a bit extreme, so it’s important not to rely solely on navigation – pay attention to the signs as well, especially when you’re close to the villa. Jose is a very warm and friendly host 👌

What a great find! We had a brilliant stay - the pool terrace and location are the stand out, what a view! María was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the house was very comfortable. We are already planning our return!
