Harben Cottage is a 150 year old traditional stone cottage - 5mins drive from the Heritage Town of Ardara (20mins walk). Set amongst lush green hills & sitting next to a bubbling mountain stream. A mixture of new and old; low doorways, a turf fireplace, water supplied from a mountain spring, but also a gas cook top, oven, microwave, WIFI, & central heating. NB: that the toilet & shower are housed in outside annex - this may not suit everyone but adds a touch of authenticity for the brave!

Myself and my husband and one year old stayed at Bernadette's house for eight days. It is such a beautiful, warm, homely house, I felt at home. It was spotlessly clean and so comfortable. Bernadette is a kind, thoughtful lovely lady, she put heating on for us before we arrived to heat the house for us, made us feel welcome and baked two loafs for us, it was such a kind and welcoming gesture which says it all about the who she is. We had a lovely holiday and grateful to Bernadette and to be able to stay in her lovely house

What a fabulous apartment in the heart of the Heritage town of Ardara which includes parking a must in the summer months. Easy to access the wonderful beaches, countryside and beauty of Donegal. Will be returning again and cannot recommend this apartment highly enough or the host. Thank you for allowing us to use your apartment as a base to make memories with family.
