This hidden peaceful, private hidden gem with amazing views, has been lovingly restored over the last number of years. Within 5 minutes drive (7 min cycle ) to Ardmore beach & Whiting bay. Pet friendly. Close to many different attractions, walking and cycling trails. Titanic experience, Jamesons Distillery, Fota Island, Lismore Castle and its Sunday market. A newly built high spec contemporary home in the heart of the beautiful seaside village of Ardmore, Co. Waterford. This home is a stone's throw from the Round Tower and cathedral site, the shops, the beach and is on the circuit of the famous Ardmore Cliff Walk and the Michelin star restaurant at the Cliff Hotel. The perfect location! As this house is not suitable for young children, we ask that all guest are min 12y old. Please contact us before booking if planning a stay with young kids.

Coastguard Cottage seaview hot tub family friendly

200 year old coastguard cottage - amazing coastal views with seaview outdoor hot tub in summer. The beach is less than two minutes walk. Idyllic, remote setting - 10 mins drive to Ardmore, 15 to Youghal. Recent high end renovation and extension. We have young kids so the house is set up to be totally family friendly with everything for families and child safety. Equipment is mostly stored and so the cottage is suitable for letting without kids.

We have been voted as one of Ireland’s top 50 places to stay by the Irish Independent #Fab50 ( number 26 :)) We spent two years renovating this 200 year old building. In May 2020, it featured on RTE Home of the year and became a finalist in the top 7 homes in Ireland. Irish lights built all 76 lighthouses & keepers houses in Ireland, and this is the only lighthouse keepers house in a town in Ireland!
