Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Ards and North Down

Alex was an amazing host - always available if we needed anything, very helpful and super friendly, we felt very welcomed there . The house was clean comfortable and came stocked with everything you needed. The hot-tub was clean, private and welcoming in a very peaceful area with a great view of the stars! the local area was great too with liberty beaches nearby ! An overall excellent experience ☺️

We had a great stay, the area is very beautiful, rural and peaceful and the views were amazing. The property is really well furnished and feels very luxurious, the out door hot tub and living area is fantastic. I could have stayed here for weeks! Jill is an excellent host, really helpful and thoughtful making sure we had a great stay and everything we needed was sorted. I hope to come back to one of Jill’s properties here with my family as it’s a really beautiful area right on the side of the lough and if anyone is coming to Ireland to experience the countryside I’d highly recommend staying here!

A nice little get away beside Bangors harbour, the house was lovely and clean. The hottub in the back garden was also an extra bonus! The host is absolutely amazing, the amount of communication and instructions I cannot fault, we will definitely be back!

Sundaywell Cottage was easily one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in—if not the best. The cottage was spotless; it honestly felt like we were the very first guests to stay there. The cottage is finished to a very high standard. The bed was incredibly comfortable with crisp white bedding, and the hot shower was a real treat. The large shed next to the cottage was really handy too—it had a washing machine and garden furniture cushions, which we made good use of. We especially loved the fire pit and sitting out to watch the sun go down—such a peaceful way to end the day. Check-in was seamless, and it was reassuring to know they were just next door if we needed anything. That said, the cottage felt very private and incredibly quiet, which we appreciated. Nicki and Ryan recommended a few places to eat, The Artisan and Balloo House; both were absolute standouts for us, thanks for that guys! This stay was exactly what we needed to unwind and relax. We thoroughly enjoyed our time!

Clara is a wonderful host who gave us detailed information from checking in to recommendations of where to eat and places to visit! The accommodation was comfortable and the welcome pack was very much appreciated. Thank you very much for a lovely night away!

Set in a beautiful country road, the Barn was everything we could have wished for. Fantastic views, a huge garden area, a private patio complete with barbecue; very comfortable beds; and bathrooms, bedrooms and main living space were all immaculate. There’s both a TV and a large projector and screen on which you can access your viewing apps, like Netflix, Prime etc. We were amazed that Hilary had provided everything that anyone could possibly need, e.g. tin foil, cleaning materials, even a cheese grater! There was always plenty of hot water and we were encouraged to turn the heating up at any time we wanted. The barn offered easy access to Belfast City and to coastal and mountain routes too. Finally, there was a cupboard full of ideas for places to visit, together with a folder listing local places to eat. Hilary was very welcoming and had thought of absolutely everything! No ‘making do’ at Hilary’s Barn, like at other Air B&B’s! My husband and I were visiting Northern Ireland

what a lovely place to stay! I was in Belfast for a dog show so I had my hairy pal with me. it was an ideal location for me (easy driving distance to the Eikon). Beautiful secure gardens and ample parking. But aside from location, it was clean, cosy, comfy and warm. With a plentiful breakfast hamper and some treats as well. Hosts were welcoming and friendly and if I needed anything they were available, but everything was to hand. I'll definitely be back and would have no hesitation in recommending it as a place to stay. Very pleased with our visit, vikki was very responsive to messages and Tom was there to greet us on arrival, the welcome basket was a lovely touch. The apartment was very clean and spacious, kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Will definitely choose Belfast Base as our place to stay in our next visit.

An amazing apartment, furnished to a very high standard. It was so clean and comfortable for a 2 night break to celebrate a family members 50th birthday. Excellent communication and a very private and safe place to stay.

Just back from our stay the apartment was spotless and had everything you could need and more. It was easy to find and clear instructions for access. Walking into the apartment it was so homely and warm and the view was amazing. The beds were lovely and comfortable. We had 2 dogs with us and the outside patio and grass area were so handy and closed in. The apartment is so handy for nearby amenities shop , coffee shops etc. We couldn't fault the apartment and John's gift of wheaten bread was appreciated. We would definitely return and couldn't recommend it highly enough.

A lovely property in a great location, close to Ardglass. Everything very clean and spacious. Very comfy bed with nice crisp linen. Can't fault anything inside and out. Really enjoyed getting away from it all here and highly recommend for a coastal holiday.

Great place with super view over the Loughshore with no traffic noise. Comfortable and close to a cafe and restaurant. Outstanding for bird watching and wildlife

Really enjoyed our stay at Rory and Jill’s place. Extremely helpful hosts. Very walkable to great restaurant snacks convenient for exploring the area.

Gleann Ciuin (Silent Valley) Is a hidden Gem, a place set in beautiful and tranquil surroundings. The Airbnb itself is a quality property, spotless and everything is thought through meticulously. Darren, our Host, met us on arrival and was very helpful in showing us how things worked in the property. Awaiting us was a lovely little welcome basket with essential food items and a hand written postcard from Darren, Victoria, Isla and not forgetting Hugo, (their dog) welcoming us to the Air BnB. (it's the little things that exudes quality). It has been a very relaxing stay, peaceful and quiet in stunning surroundings. We naturally would highly recommend staying to all who are looking for a great Airbnb getaway. You won't be disappointed!! Chris and Julia

Amazing location, beautifully set up private pods/cabins. Ciara sent us many emails ro include things to do on arrival, possible locations to visit and even sent out a spotify play list to set the mood. We didnt ask to check in early but got an email before 1400 hrs saying that the place was ready and we could check in. Its the most idyllic and peaceful place and we will for sure return again for a few nights. Odin, the family dog paid us a few visits which was lovely. Thank you for a wonderful stay ❤️

Hawthorn Hideaways was so beautiful and quiet. Kirker was a great host. The pod was amazing and the hot tub made the stay perfect! Kirker also left some lovely stuff in the pod for my birthday which was a lovely surprise.

We travelled from Ballycastle just for the weekend for two days for my mum birthday and we had the best time, the weather was gorgeous, the house was really well cleaned and was gorgeous, Hot Tub was the best and we all had a great wee time and would highly recommend without hesitation and Georgia was really helpful and gave all the instructions and will definitely be back again. 🥰🥰

Absolutely beautiful place, so private, peaceful and quiet.. me and my partner where lucky to have the place to ourselves for the whole night, everything was perfect! If there was only 1 downfall it was that we had to leave early this morning, check-out wasnt until 11am but from 5am we had no toilet roll as house keeping had only left 1 roll which is nowhere near enough after having afew drinks But overall a lovely night stay 🙂

Really enjoyed my stay here with the dog. The cabin was super comfy, clean and had everything I needed. The peaceful setting with birds singing and quiet evening made it a great place to unwind. The host was lovely and made the place feel very warm and welcoming. Would definitely come back again!😊🐶

Everything was top class at Hawthorn Hideaways. The pods themselves were very clean and cosy. We were welcomed with a little mini hamper which was a great touch, it had snacks and marshmallows for s'mores which we used at the firepit. What ever type of stay you are coming for whether it's as a family or as a couple, you'll definitely be guaranteed a lovely stay.

Had a beautiful stay here. Nice and private place to stay out in the country. We enjoyed sitting outside in the evening after the hot tub with the fire lit, toasting marshmallows and listening to the birds. Bed was comfortable and Gillian was a brilliant host

Beautiful stay in beautiful peaceful surroundings with a fantastic view. Cabin is kitted out with everything you need with added bonus of complimentary Prosecco coffee and a breakfast basket. Place was spotless inside. Really cosy and well laid out. Unlimited use of hot tub was amazing we even managed to squeeze in a second dip before Breakfast. Fabulous hosts who responded to my messages immediately. Even went to the trouble of making sure cabin was open for us on arrival so we didn’t have to stand out in the rain. Facilities are amazing everything on hand for a fabulous stay. Would have no hesitation in recommending this property and we will definitely be looking into booking again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
