Unique in Brazil: forest observation tower on the peak of a mountain between the Itatiaia and Papagaio Parks. At 14m above ground and 1,800m above sea level, it is also the highest Airbnb cabin in the country. The construction was influenced by the fire watchtowers present in North American forest parks. Enjoy an unparalleled view of 5 of the 10 highest peaks in Brazil, as well as a starry sky guaranteed by the darkness of the protected areas, without light pollution.

Ninho do Condado dos Guapuruvus House. Is it a treehouse? Yes and no. A suspended chalet? Yes and no. A cabin? A kind of nest house? Yeah, maybe so. Definitely an experience. 2 floors and a ground floor. Almost a little building. I decided to share and make it available whenever the demand is for a maximum of 4 people. Fireplace, sauna, thermal sheet… next to a river… we do not accept visits without prior authorization. We have an extra cottage for the second couple.

Modernist Chalet in the middle of the Forest

3000 m2 site surrounded by an Atlantic Forest in a protected area. The main house is a modernist chalet designed in 1962 by architect and artist Levy Menezes (1922-1991). The property is within the Itatiaia National Park. To access Guapuruvu Residency, you must identify yourself at the Park entrance as a residential visitor. Space not suitable for children and the elderly. Pets are not permitted in the Park. Satellite Internet.
