Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Arlington

This was, I believe, our 5th year staying at Kate’s. Always comfortable - always spotless! In fact, this is by far the cleanest Airbnb we have ever booked. Kate is a very responsive host as well - super helpful with any questions we have ever had! We will continue staying here for our annual NIH visit as long as it is available to us! Thank you for sharing your space with us!

The residence is lovely, eclectic, comfortable and roomy. It was a very bright and inviting home. So many little details made it very interesting, from the layout (wonderful workspace downstairs overlooking the front walk), to the artwork (don’t miss the figurines above the front door threshold !) and the bathroom renovations were great. We enjoyed our trip to Washington D.C., and a large part was the very enjoyable ‘vibe’ of the residence.

Literally speechless for how much we loved this place. She went above and beyond. You actually feel like a guest in one of a close family friend’s home and not a stranger. I’d love to return! 10/10 can’t recommend enough!

We had a very pleasant five day stay at Esther’s White House. The property was immaculate every way and had everything that you would require to make for a worry free stay. Esther made sure we felt welcome and her level of communication was just right. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and loved the quiet and peaceful neighbourhood.

Tyler’s place is definitely worth five stars. It’s extremely clean, very spacious, beautifully furnished, and has all the accommodations you need. I’ve got a group of four or five friends who visit a different city every year to watch a baseball game and we were lucky to find this place. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood with a short Uber ride to and from the Mall in DC. We typically will cook breakfast and dinner at home and explore the cities during the day. This house has one of the greatest kitchens I’ve ever seen, as well as a propane grill on the porch. What really put Tyler‘s place over the top for me was the little considerate touches he adds to each room. Whether it was kleenex, q-tips and makeup remover in every bathroom (which obviously we didn’t need 🤣), plenty of books and games, or a jar of coffee and sugar… this place has it all! I couldn’t recommend this listing more!!

Louise’s place was perfect for an active family of 3 - right by the W&OD trail, close to plenty of parks and other family-friendly activities, and easy access to the highway and metro. Everything was as described, clean, and ideal for a relaxed family vacation. We definitely plan on returning for future trips!

What a great place! Exactly as described and so spacious. My daughter loves having the park right across the street. A quick stroll up to the Pike and you have endless restaurants. The unit was very clean and the bedding was very comfortable. Would highly recommend!

This place is better than the pictures! Very clean and perfect for two people! Will recommend to everyone. I go to Maryland a few times a year and I will make this my number one choice!

Anne is very thorough when checking on a guest. She wants people to feel comfortable and makes sure they understand how to operate the appliances in the home. She has a garden and doesn't mind sharing the fresh herbs and berries in them. Initially, I was bummed about the strict check-out time (out by 8:00 am), but due to a delay in the cleaning service's ability to arrive to clean the place, I was able to check out at 11:00 am. She was responsive to questions or concerns I had. Her home is immaculate! She explained the cleaning/sterilization process, so this is a great place to stay for people who suffer from allergies. The neighborhood is quiet, and you are within walking distance of a few restaurants, a grocery store, and some shops.

A quiet space with lovely garden view, just as described in the listing. The hosts were very responsive, quick to address the minor issues I had, and friendly without being intrusive. In addition to the many good points mentioned in reviews by previous guests, I especially appreciated the nightlights in the apartment and the outdoor lighting along the walkway. I hope this place is available the next time I'm in the area!

I came and stayed here for 3 days. My best friend and I came to stay here for our SZA and Kendrick concert in DC. Not only we had a great time at the concert. The place was the perfect place to unwind. Also I really appreciate the things that were provided for us. Will definitely book with this place again.

We spent a very pleasant few days visiting Washington D.C. and the local area. Metro access was easy, we parked at West Falls Church. Accommodation had everything we needed, definitely worth the stay.

Cute & spacious boho apartment. My family of 5 was very comfortable inside. Metro & restaurants were close by (5 min or less walk). Free parking pass was great. Currently there is a lot of construction happening in the parking garage and on the street but it wasn’t too loud and once you got used to the few streets that were closed it was easy to drive and walk around the neighborhood.

This location was in the prefect location; if you’re just staying in Georgetown, less than a minute walk to restaurants, shopping, (nothing is farther an 10 minute walk away) and only minutes to the university. Most places in DC are less than 20 minutes away by Uber or an easy walk to the Capitol Mall/monuments area. The only downside…no metro stations in Georgetown, if that is a must have, closes metro was Foggy Bottom/ George Washington University Hospital.

We were so happy with this basement apartment and location. Robert was very helpful and responsive. Most days we drove to the mall parking garage near the Pentagon and took the metro from Pentagon City station to the Smithsonian station (the pre-loaded $30 card available online was perfect for our stay). Driving from the unit to Arlington took mere minutes. It isn't too far from Mt. Vernon either. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet. We would stay here again! The current pictures under sell the unit. We were very happy to find it was bigger than expected. It could use a little updating, but we didn't mind. All we did was sleep, eat some breakfast, and return each night with aching feet and legs from a typical day of walking D.C.

Celia was one of the most accommodating hosts that I have encountered. She allowed an early check-in and late checkout. She had apples, bananas and nuts for snacks in addition to coffee beans and even a couple of containers of milk, so I didn’t have to run out for coffee. The space is in a historic house in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. It was quiet and there was a nice, private porch outback, which was a great spot for reading. The neighborhood itself is lovely with well maintained yards. A Metro station is about 1/2 mile away which allows easy access to all parts of DC. We were so happy with the accommodations, so I highly recommended Celia’s place.

Tucked in the heart of Bethesda with a quiet charm that somehow still feels central to everything, this stay was a gem. Getting around was a breeze—whether by foot, metro, or last-minute snack run to the 24/7 CVS or 7-Eleven. The apartment itself? Immaculate. Fully stocked with everything we could possibly need—and then some. The internet didn’t blink, the TV was streaming-ready (a blessing for our nightly Netflix ritual), and we barely had to buy a thing beyond food. Rodrigo was the kind of host you wish all hosts were—attentive, responsive, and refreshingly clear with every detail. Winston, the building manager, was also incredibly kind and helpful. Bonus points for the cozy terrace, which turned into our favorite nighttime hangout spot. All in all, one of the most exceptional Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. Would come back in a heartbeat—no hesitation, no second thoughts, just pure comfort.

Love this clean calm space-the balcony was wonderful. Mark was super responsive, checked in on us and we had everything we needed-especially in the kitchen. Great location for walking to restaurants and stores. Will definitely stay again!

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful condo. Pristinely clean and spacious with everything we needed to be comfortable. We loved the modern decor and appreciated the extra thoughtful amenities. A wonderful place to return to after a long day of walking in DC. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others.

Great apartment! Sean’s apartment is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is completely quiet at night and the bed is good. There is a good vibe in the neighbourhood and the apartment is less than five minutes from a Green Line metro station that will take you directly to the best art museums in the city. Sean and his co-hosts are very helpful and responsive. I hope to come back to Washington one day and if that happens, I will definitely try to book Sean’s apartment again.
