We had 2 wonderful days in this extraordinary and beautiful, well-kept accommodation. We were there with a family friend and had a great time! Absolutely suitable for families, lots of space, a refreshing pool, a terrace covered with kiwi plants, from which you could hear the river flowing in the evening. Helena was extremely helpful and even available during her vacation. Nevertheless, we were personally welcomed and everything was shown to us. Helena's self-painted artwork in the house and specially written books are impressive. Just great! We'll be back. :-)

Maria Emília is an excellent host who is always available! The house is better than in the photos, wonderful space to rest, excellent outdoor space with a pool that we had the honor of opening! We'll be back

Beautiful house, perfect with everything we needed. The view is very beautiful, large pool, but they only came to clean the pool on the second day, it could have been clean on the first day we arrived. But the house was impeccable and the area was super quiet. Thank you for the stay, Jesse

A superb welcome as well as practical tips for visiting the surrounding area. The accommodation was clean and very nice as was the pool which was a very big highlight. As for the host, always available to answer any questions and needs you may have. There's nothing better for a stay isolated from groups of tourists, staying close to Porto. The host was very communicative, helpful, and hospitable. A mansion with a beautiful and large garden, all available to guests. Clean bedrooms and bathrooms. Beautiful view of the valley. Enough parking spaces. Very nice pool with comfortable sun loungers and umbrellas. A kitchen with some missing equipment, a small amount of silverware, mugs, plates, and pans. Beautiful house, spacious and had everything we wanted and needed. We had a perfect time here. The pool was a great size and great fun. The views were lovely, the shaded areas in the garden were excellent for eating and relaxing. It’s a quiet place but Arouca and the surrounding areas had plenty to do and see, there are lots of places to eat out a short drive away. We had a wonderful stay, Pierrick and Sandra were great, friendly, hosts. I would highly recommended.

We booked the house on the day we stayed and Pedro facilitated the whole process in an organized and communicative way. The accommodation is comfortable, clean and very well located. I recommend it!

A great accommodation, in a small secluded village in the mountain, well equipped, well arranged (large bathroom, convenient kitchen, small courtyard in the back to eat outside), with everything you need to make food (including oil, condiments...). With the bonus of a cake from the owner and a jar of his honey. The hosting was very good, good advice for activities in the surroundings. Really a good experience. A perfect place for nature lovers looking for a cozy and secluded little cocoon to recharge and enjoy the area. Porto is 1 hour by car, shops 15 minutes. We highly recommend it.

Quiet rental in a charming and typically Portuguese little village. Relaxing and enjoyable holidays. Attention, small village with small cobblestone alleys, difficult to access with low vehicles.

Fantastic we had a lovely stay, the accommodation is very beautiful, clean and offers good amenities, there were 10 of us and no one missed anything, the village is very beautiful and relaxing, the welcome was amazing, because we arrived late, as we had trouble finding the village, and Aurea was extremely welcoming, with a cake on arrival, the atypical side is really nice, we were able to easily visit Aveiro, and Porto, thank you again for the welcome, i highly recommend it Maryvonne Fernandes
