Family-friendly holiday rentals in Arundel

The location was perfect — close to the Co-op for easy shopping and just a 15-minute walk to East Wittering and the beach, which was ideal for our family day out. George met us at the house with the keys, and he was very welcoming, showing us around and explaining how everything worked, which made our arrival smooth and stress-free. There was a lovely little park across the street which the children appreciated. The hot tub was definitely the highlight for the children—they absolutely loved it! The property had everything we needed for a short, relaxing break, and we really appreciated that we could have brought our dog along. Overall, a lovely stay in a great spot. Would definitely recommend and hope to return soon!

Property is in a great location, close to beach, restaurants, cafes etc. Beds were really comfortable and the lounge/dining area was a great space for our group of 7 adults to socialise. Kitchen had plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots and pans etc. Had a lovely meal out at "The Seaview" hotel. We hope to return.

We enjoyed our stay at Andy & Rosie's thanks to the great location and beautiful surroundings. We used it as a base for Goodwood, which was a short drive away. The local golf club being so close was also a bonus. The accommodation itself was well furnished and spacious and check in was made simple with the clear instructions and Andy's welcoming greeting on arrival.

We had a lovely stay at Greenbank. The house was spacious, tidy and clean, and we appreciated the extras provided by the host (towels, toiletries, tea and coffee). The property is just a short walk away from a playground , shop, pharmacy and local places to explore, which we enjoyed investigating. Our 4-year-old loved reading the children's books from around the house and the garden was a lovely spot to play in. We paid to have the hot tub, which we found easy to use and great fun. Lovely peaceful weekend away. The place was very clean and beds and pillows extremely comfortable. Both lulu and russ were very welcoming and helpful. We used the hot tub on the Saturday and would recommend booking this. The location is great - very peaceful and a 5min drive from the beach and pubs in walking distance. We look forward to returning!

Me and my partner had a wonderful mid-week retreat at Tracy’s Annex! Welcomed with a bottle of Prosecco, the place was just lovely. We had access to the hot tub and the heated pool which was just amazing! It felt totally private, we were never disturbed but always just a message away if we needed anything- Tracy has some fab recommendations and knows the area so well. The walks around are beautiful and the wildlife we saw was brilliant! There’s so much I could say but my real highlight was Tracy’s 2 golden labs, they’ll come and say hello when out in the garden and they are such love bugs! Totally made my day as a dog lover! Would stay again and would recommend to others. X

What a lovely place and lovely hosts. The bed was so comfortable we slept more than usual, unless it was the lovely relaxing hot tub that tired us. The welcome food and treats and wine was very generous and very welcome. It was a very quiet and relaxing area. We stayed for 6 nights and would highly recommended

Honeysuckle Cottage is on the main road through East Meon but once inside it is quiet. All the furnishing and equipment are good quality and although the cottage is small, there is plenty of storage and it has everyone needed for a relaxing weekend. As others have said the second bedroom is very small but our son and his girlfriend slept comfortably and had enough space for their clothes. The garden is secure, so perfect for our dog. It’s also a sun trap so we were able to enjoy relaxing outside even though it wasn’t particularly hot weather. There are many excellent walks on the doorstep with stunning views. We were able to eat at The George on a couple of evenings and didn’t use our cars all weekend, which was just perfect. We did not park our cars on the main road but there’re plenty of places to park in the village, including the car park.

This house was beautiful and had everything that we needed. The location was so quiet and our host was welcoming. We all wanted to move here and become artists. We walked across the fields to the local pub and saw the sunset on the way back. Idyllic.

Lovely place to stay. Beautiful large pond to have a walk around and the charlet was perfect. Felt like a little home from home. If I could give any feedback, it would be to upgrade the sofa bed mattress, this had been well worn and would need replacing but other than that, it was amazing

We had a lovely stay at Jo’s place. The Barn was very warm, spacious and comfortable. We appreciated the huge sitting room and well equipped kitchen. We were guests at a wedding in Arundel and it was the perfect place for us to stay. Jo kindly popped over when we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed and was very easy to communicate with. We would love to have stayed longer, there’s so much to see and do in the area. Thank you Jo.

Katie very kindly let us stay in the daytime and her place was perfect to rest and have some peace and quiet while our home had some noisy building work going on. The Air B and B was exactly as described in profile, it is just over the road from the sea and there is a lovely cafe, Billys a stones throw away.

Nestled in the South Downs, a few miles north of Brighton, in a quintessential English village, We found The Granary, here to spend some time with our adult children and grandchildren. The house is absolutely gorgeous, the kitchen is huge and well equipped, but the star is the lounge, high ceilings with oak beams. But the house is only part of the story, stroll around the beautiful, extensive grounds you will feel like lord and lady of the manor!

We couldn’t have asked for a better cottage in a breathtaking location. Lindy’s place was truly exceptional and far exceeded our expectations. Lindy was so friendly and helpful, it was a pleasure to meet her. Unfortunately, we were only able to stay for two days on this occasion, but what an amazing two days they were. Thank you for sharing your home with us, Lindy.

If you are looking for a home from home or an upgrade from home, this is the place to stay. Arrived from Melbourne and immediately settled into the joy of living in the countryside. Although too cold to enjoy the pool, we did use the tennis court and shot some hoops. We walked to Old Thorns Golf and Country Club and can recommend Katie's Coffee bar. It's an easy walk amongst stunning scenery. We walked back via the Foley Estate from the Deers Hut pub. Liphook is so lucky to have not one but two stunningly beautiful golf courses. If their is a heaven on earth, we must have stayed in its guest house!

We loved staying in the boathouse. Ideal for a family with children. Wonderful location looking over the creek . We didn’t hear the ferry which is 5 minutes away. We liked the sound of children playing on the other side of the creek. The pool area was recently upgraded. The property is well equipped and comfortable. Catherine was an excellent host who looked after every detail professionally.

Perfect place for our family of four to stay for a peaceful and secluded retreat for a couple of nights. The cottage was lovely and the grounds and surrounding garden were beautiful. My two primary school aged daughters loved spending time in the swimming pool and even attempted to play a bit of tennis! Caroline was a brilliant host and keen to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Super friendly and always clear and responsive with communication. Would love to stay here again some time and hope we get a chance to do so!

This is an accurately described, beautiful home in idyllic countryside. The house is spacious and very stylishly furnished with vintage furniture and artwork. Ideally there would be one or two more bathrooms with showers - we knew this before staying of course - it just means more planning of showering with a larger group of people staying. We especially loved relaxing in the garden room with the gorgeous views of the garden and rolling hills beyond. We were incredibly lucky with the weather so definitely made the most of having a pool and pizza oven and BBQ. And we picked fresh figs off the tree by the pool, delicious! The kids loved the trampoline and table tennis. Enzo was great and prompt at communicating with us. We appreciated the local recommendations - we enjoyed lunch at the Jolly Sportsman, coffee at Cafe du Jardin and a mooch around all the antiques shops in Lewes. A very comfortable house to enjoy with three generations of our family.

Emma was very welcoming as we arrived. She showed us around and gave us perfect advice on how to get into town. The cabin was perfect for a weekend away. We found a swing attached to the trees and had great fun. The bed was like a cloud and the kitchen had everything you need. Would recommend to family and would stay again.

We had a perfect stay at Tara’s place — it was relaxing, comfortable, and we were surrounded by beautiful countryside. We especially loved sitting out on the deck in the sunshine, taking in the views, and listening to the peaceful sounds around us. Tara was a fantastic host — so friendly and welcoming, and she instantly made us feel at home. It was also such a treat to meet her beautiful dog, Sula! We really enjoyed spending time in the hot tub and at the tennis court, and it was even warm enough to have a little swim in the pool. The walk through the fields to the local pub was stunning and made our stay even more special. Thank you for the idillic stay!

A home from home - ideal for either a short or long stay. Exceptionally well equipped, with everything you might need. Very clean and comfortable, in a delightful and secure and private setting. Rebecca was very welcoming and on hand if we needed anything. The best Airbnb we've stayed in and would definitely return when we are next in the West Sussex area.
