Welcome to Finnskogen! Here you will live in a large and cozy house overlooking the lake and with the forest as the closest neighbor. Perfect for the extended family or friends who want nature, tranquility and plenty of space. Swimming, campfire, cross-country skiing, fishing, berry and mushroom picking and walks on beautiful gravel roads – only two hours from Oslo. From Varildgården there are great day trips to Charlottenberg, swimming or skiing in Torsby, Badeland and Selma Lagerlöf's spa in Sunne or a trip to Rotneros park. Hiking, cross-country skiing and swimming locally.

Wonderful year-round accommodation. Close to nature with wildlife, forest walks and silence. You'll love our place because of the neighborhood and the outdoor space. Our accommodation is suitable for couples, solo travelers, business travelers, and families (with children). Car is needed because there is no public transport. Closest grocery store Edane, 10 km. Bank, post office, train station and pizzeria are in Edane, to the city of Arvika 25 km. A short forest walk from the accommodation to Lake Värmeln. Close to Arvika golf course, an 18-hole course.

Cozy cabin by the lake

We offer a whole summer cottage for relaxation. The cottage has a main building with a bedroom that accommodates a double bed, the cottage also has a kitchen with a gas stove, wood stove, refrigerator, dining area, wood stove and a sofa. The guest house, which is directly adjacent, has two double beds. The summer cottage has solar panels and the possibility to charge phones. There is a composting toilet indoors but we do not have running water. Drinking water, bed linens and towels are provided. The forest offers lots of berries and mushrooms

Welcome to this recreational paradise, 100 meters to Lake Värmeln. A complete farm from the 1800s with barn, shed, storage, farmyard and sauna and swimming jetty. The farm is located high up, surrounded by a large courtyard with two furnished patios, lawns, berry bushes, fruit trees. Here you have a wide view of the lake, meadows, forest and the old village of Nussviken. At the private beach, there is a wood-fired sauna, swimming dock, canoe, kayak and rowboat to borrow. For children, there is a swing, sandbox and playhouse.

Take it easy and enjoy the beautiful nature at this unique and tranquil getaway. Situated in a beautiful nature reserve, you can simply laze around on the spacious veranda, the garden or go swimming, canoeing, fishing, hiking. The cottage has been completely renovated in authentic Swedish style with all the necessary amenities, so it is also nice to stay in on a rainy day. A beautiful place surrounded by forest and overlooking large meadows, pastures and a glittering lake. Lillstugan offers modern accommodation in inspiring surroundings. Hike, bike, barbecue and enjoy the sun on the patio, take a ride on the rowing boat, fish, sauna (35 Euro) and enjoy the outdoor shower. Here are many opportunities for wonderful moments!

Ta med hela familjen till detta fantastiska ställe med massor av plats för skoj. Här kan man ro med roddbåt, fiska och bada vid egen badplats. Njuta av solen på uteplatsen och vandra i skogen. Det finns även en allmän badplats, även den i Kolsjön som är belägen i samma sjö som den egna badplatsen. Tillgång till spel som kubb, crocket och badminton samt möjlighet att låna 2 stycken kajaker inkl flytväst och kapell. Om man önskar åka skidor så tar det ca 30 minuter till Valfjället.

Cozy cottages near Glafsfjorden

Två mysiga gäststugor - Lillstugan och Långstugan - ingår när du bokar. Stugorna står på vår tomt ca 50 m från Storstugan där vi bor. Det finns egna uteplatser intill stugorna. En gravplats från bronsåldern ligger även bakom stugan. En barnvänlig sjöstrand finns inom 100m och stigen går genom skogen bakom Långsstugan. Det finns fina vandrings- och promenadstråk ut på udden. Ett par enkla kayaker och laddare för elbil kan nyttjas enligt överenskommelse. Varmt välkomna!
