Holiday rentals with lake access in Asbury Park

We had a great stay at Inna's place with my young children and parents. Inna was very responsive and the house was as pictured. We had a great time on the deck and in the yard. We really appreciated how kid friendly it was, my 2 year old had so much fun with the toys and Inna was very responsive with additional kid gear, as needed. Would recommend.

Had a wonderful girl's weekend at the 'Retreat.' The house was very comfortable and the layout was conducive for cooking, eating and hanging out. The beds were comfy too! The backyard is amazing and we wished the weather was more cooperative for outdoor time. Communication with Ann and Mike was extremely easy and timely. We would definitely stay here again. Great stay with my family. Our kids loved the beach and the neighborhood is immensely walkable. The house is small but super clean and has all the necessities. Marc even offers a list of local recommendations for guests and his picks were always spot on -- from the restaurants, to the bagel shop, to the ice cream store. Easy checkout, too.

My friends and I had an incredible time. The house is exactly as listed and made us feel right at home upon arrival. Maneesh was extremely friendly and responsive, even taking time to contact me personally on the first night of our stay to make sure I’d reach out in case of any questions. The outdoor area is wonderful with a peaceful dock and a beautiful lakeside view and a great hot tub. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely consider returning in the future. We had a wonderful stay at Jamie's home! Great location, walking distance to everything....beach, local shops and restaurants. It was clean and comfy! It offers many amenities that give it an "at home" feeling. We enjoyed the new patio, grill, outside shower. Amazing backyard meticulously kept! The lake was peaceful and very enjoyable. Jamie was a great host! He gave many suggestions for local spots. Jaime was very responsive and truly wanted his guest to have a great stay! I would highly recommend Jaime's home to others and hope that we can come back to stay again!

I stayed here with a few friends for my 25th birthday, and the space felt like home! Shawn's listing was so cozy, clean, and private... felt like living in a house with all of my besties! Shawn was responsive, proactive, and checked in periodically throughout the visit. Check-in and out were seamless, everything was easy to find, and the temperature was comfortable; we made such a good choice to stay here!

We rented over Christmas to be near our family for the holiday. Upon check in there was the issue of a frozen pipe, but the hosts were very accommodating and set us up in the main house. Extremely clean, warm, and welcoming it made for the perfect holiday away from our home. My husband was able to whip up desserts in the kitchen for us to bring to family, the backyard was spacious and for our dogs to run and play, and my young daughter felt right at home as did the rest of us. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We would be back again in a heartbeat and highly recommended!

Great location and house. It suited our needs perfectly for Thanksgiving week with family. We thoroughly enjoyed the musical instruments, records, games, and fire pit. The home is older but full of character and charm. It has excellent Wi-Fi for remote working. The kitchen is well appointed; we cooked several meals throughout the week. Walking distance or a quick drive to many great restaurants. Communication was quick and easy.

My husband and I needed a place to stay for a few days while his dad was in the hospital. I’m so glad this place was available. Not only is it impeccably clean with all the essentials we needed to live and work remotely, but the view from the balcony was beautiful and so calming during a stressful time. We loved looking out at the creek and watching all the herons, geese, and other birds that would come through. I would definitely stay here again, hopefully for happier reasons next time.

We have stayed at two different properties hosted by Lou. This second visit was just as excellent as the first. The property was well-located for what we needed, clean, well equipped, peaceful, and convenient. The neighborhood was quiet and pleasant. Lou is an excellent host, very responsive and pleasant. I highly recommend!

Our stay at Elena’s place was incredible. The house had every convenience, amenity and comfort we could have possibly asked for. There were so any fantastic touches from a welcome gift, to wonderful linens, towels, toiletries, kitchen needs and beach chairs and umbrellas. It was impeccably clean and so thoughtfully updated, maximizing every inch of space. The location was absolute perfection, literal steps to the beach, boardwalk and restaurants. It was the ideal house for our family of four. Elena’s communication and responsiveness could not be beat and she communicated to us a number of times throughout our stay that she was available for anything we needed! Thank you for a wonderful stay, we look forward to returning!

I hesitate to say how great this place is because I want it for every time I am in NJ. With that said, this place is incredible and the hosts are the best. The description of the place may be selling it short. Most evenings involved sitting on the beach across the street watching a gorgeous sunset followed up by a quick walk or bike ride to several top notch local places for food, drinks, and fun (Al Ponte for Thursday and Friday night lobsters).

We stayed here for a quick weekend trip to visit with family. The location was great! We walked everywhere. The back sitting area was so peaceful and beautiful at sunset. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. We would definitely stay again!

Host was flexible when I needed some tweaks to accommodations. She was clear and open about other guests on the property. She offered extra towels or anything else needed. Stopped by to say hello and welcome me to the cottage. Neighborhood and lodging were as expected since I am familiar with the area. I will stay here again! Love the short walk to the lake and ocean and bagel store!

Stayed a long weekend. The loft in the house was a perfect kids hangout (9 & 11). The location was a few minute walk to the beach and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, pickleball and more. Michael was very responsive and helpful to allow us to get one good beach day in on a dreary weekend. Even with undesirable weather, it was a great vacation.

Honestly, just read the other 35+ Five Star Reviews. They are completely accurate. Michael was a great communicator, place was spotless, bed was comfy. We love Asbury Park and will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for a long weekend with my husband and two kids. Loved the proximity to the beach. All of the neighbors were very friendly and overall the stay was very peaceful!

Convenient location and responsive host!

We really enjoyed the stay here! Very clean and comfortable. Perfect supplies needed that sometimes you don’t have. Well stocked with towels and supplies. Spotless clean, private and very efficient for my family and pet. Gina was very responsive and we will def be staying here again. Great place.
