Holiday rentals with a kayak in Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh

As advertised, the house was amazing! Beautiful, spacious, with plenty of amenities. Absolutely no complaints! The host was responsive to our quick questions, the beds were comfortable, the house was very clean and we had plenty of space for our group if eight, both inside and outside. Highly recommend!

This was our second year at Carrie and Dan's cottage and once again my family and I had a fantastic time. The house is perfectly situated on the river with a nice beach and it has all of the amenities needed. Dan communicated regularly and checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed. This is a beautiful property which anyone would have fun at.

absolutely loved our stay. incredibly peaceful and quiet. space was well kept, cute and comfortable, the stairs leading to the water and the view 10 out of 10. will definitely be coming back. mais the host was incredibly friendly, polite and willing to help us if we had any questions or concerns about the space. great experience all around. would recommend if visiting the south hamptons or sauble

Great experience staying at this cottage. It is by far one of the nicest places on the Huron Shores. The view is spectacular through the huge windows. The house was spotless and clean, and very well appointed. Looked like it was out of a model home. Well stocked with games and things to do. Clean kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms. We had a great and relaxing time. Would definitely recommend this cottage. We will absolutely be booking again.

This was a quiet, private, peaceful, and beautiful location. The house was nice with plenty of room for everyone. Being right on the water was what we wanted. The amenities were exactly what we wanted. The heated floors were awesome. Close to a town but still secluded. One thing to be aware of is having to rent linens at $20 per person which nobody expects to travel on vacation with bedsheets and thought it would be something included for the cost. Also, we were warned about the potholes in the road to the house but they were pretty drastic! All in all, would book again and hosts were very attentive.

We had an amazing stay at Mikes air bnb in Grand Bend for my Husbands 30th. The place was wonderful with lots of things to do and a lot of indoor and outdoor space. Mike was more than responsive to us and helped us with any questions we had and made sure everything was working and fixed for us. Him and his wife were super responsive and were able to accommodate us with early check in and late checkout because the place was available the night before and after. This was very kind of them and they did not have to do this. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. The most amazing thing about this air bnb is the location , it’s a minute walk from the main strip and had so many extra amenities such as kayaks. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting grand bend. The inside of the place is modern, new and had everything we needed and the outdoor space was equipped with bbqs, outdoor Furniture etc. we would definitely stay again.

Great little cabin for a family to stay in for sure. The cabin was nice and clean, it was comfy and cozy. A lot of activities around to do, and they made sure they had our door activities to do outside. The kids loved there were toys to play with. Great to know has a parent with young kids they have give you play pen, high chair etc to help so you didn't have to worry about packing it. Communication was fantastic. Happy to answer your questions and promptly. Amazing and kind host regarding bringing pets as well! Will honestly book to to go back!

Our group had an amazing time at Peter's place! The location is beautiful and the place was fully stocked with everything you need! We will definitely be booking again!!

This was the perfect get away for our family. The private fenced in lot had tons of space for our dog to play. The large mature trees felt like we were deep in the forest but the lake was only a few steps away! The beach was clean and private. The cottage was perfect! We felt right at home, with all the amenities that we needed. Moon was easy to deal with and very helpful. We would definately rent again, and recommend to friends and family!

This place was the most wonderful escape from the city, cozy and welcoming! Perfect trip for our toddler - safety outlets and even cute games to play inside and outdoor games as well! The perfect little home away from home, the paddle boats and fishing rods were the cherries on top ! Highly recommend

Great stay! Dogs loved the empty beach off season, and we even took a swim even though it was 50 degrees. It fixed me :) and the house was lovely and had everything we needed to cook a meal

This stay is one of a kind. The cottage is clean, cozy, beautiful, well maintained and fit our family of 5 + our dog perfectly. The yard is a perfect size and the walk down to the beach is truly magical. The sunsets are… immaculate to say the least. This home is located perfectly in my opinion. It’s so peaceful, quiet and serene while downtown is only about a 5 min drive! I was having trouble accessing my email when we arrived so I couldn’t pull up the instructions on how to get into the house. I called Jennifer and she kindly helped me right away! We will be back in the future!! Thanks so much!

We had a fantastic experience at Coralie's Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated. We especially loved the cozy living space and well-equipped kitchen, which made it feel like a home away from home. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient stay. First of all a big thanks to jaime for providing the best place for Christmas get together The cottage is well maintained and everything which is included in our stay exceeded the expectations. Quiet and private space with fully equipped kitchen, cozy couches to relax, comfortable beds and of course the best view of the lake. As we have enjoyed our stay for the Christmas holidays and will surely plan for the stay in summer to enjoy the beaches and decks. Again thanks to jaime for providing us the best Christmas gift

Aleks and her family were such great hosts! The space was everything we could have asked for. I booked the cottage for the weekend to celebrate my birthday with family and friends and it was perfect! A nice, private spot right on the water. The perfect spot to grab your coffee or tea and sip in silence while you enjoy the beautiful views and calming sounds of Lake Huron. It has all the amenities that you could need for a cottage weekend – barbecue, fire pit, outdoor picnic table, lounge chairs, a kayak and paddle board – honestly it was the best way to spend a weekend. The beach is definitely rocky, so as they mention, bring water shoes. The driveway is steep, so a bit daunting and intimidating, but we had zero issues getting in and out; just drive slow, and take your time. Aleks is SUPER responsive and one of the kindest hosts I’ve ever connected with. Thank you to your family for sharing your space with us! The best little Lake Huron getaway.

A cabana superou as expectativas, definitivamente uma experiência rústica 5 estrelas. Tudo muito limpo e funcionando perfeitamente, desde os utensílios para cozinhar até a estrutura de banheiro, com água quente. Brian é gentil e muito atencioso. Fizemos churrasco em nossa varanda, fogueira em frente a cabana e aproveitamos o lago com nosso filho com um lindo passeio de pedalinho.

This cabin is exactly what we were looking for. Simple and quiet - fireplace, hot tub and great view!

We had a great time at Brian's place! The amenities were excellent and the lake was gorgeous, especially at sunrise and sunset. If you walk out a bit at night you can also get a great view of the stars. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and we really appreciated being able to buy propane and wood at the shop. The bathroom was also really clean and it was nice that there was hot water.

This cabin rental is beautiful. The river is so peaceful sounding and you have everything you need to relax and enjoy a quick little get away. We stayed as guests for a wedding near by and it accommodated me as a single well in the smaller cabin and my friend and her baby in the larger cabin. This was an excellent find! Scott was communicative and professional and everything was easy.

Susan was very helpful and responsive - we had a fabulous time and would definitely recommend her accommodations! It was a great weekend getaway.

The cabin had a great mixture of modern looks with some original rustic finishes. Williams Lake is my favourite Lake in Ontario. The waters are warm, clear and boat traffic isn’t overwhelming. The neighbours are close but are friendly and respectful. Maude is a great host, she was very friendly and responsive.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Hawthorn cottages and Brian as a host. I rented a one bedroom cabin for the weekend, and it was perfect. I was looking for a rest in relaxation and I found it. You have all of your basic amenities in the cozy, rustic dwellings. Simple and efficient. Great value for the experience. There is a shared bathroom facility, separate men’s and ladies’ washroom and a shower. It’s truly a little slice of paradise. So peaceful and every cabin is mere steps from the lake. Gorgeous scenery. I went as a solo female traveler and felt cozy and comfortable the entire time. It was perfect. Brian checked in from time to time to make sure everything was going well. Everyone there was so friendly and lovely. I look forward to returning.
