The barn is in the grounds of our 15th century house but nicely private. It’s decorated in modern rustic style, with underfloor heating and a wood burner. Outside is a fire pit for toasting marshmallows and stargazing before climbing into the king-size bed, dressed with soft Egyptian cotton. There's a walk-in rain shower and robes, books, DVDs, games, WiFi and a Smart TV. Tear yourself away to explore forests, gardens, vineyards, castles, and National Trust houses.

Relax in the wonderful roll top bath, curl up in the conservatory or enjoy a coffee on the patio which overlooks our wood. The perfect stepping stone to explore the Garden of England.

Kingfisher Barn, so called because of our resident kingfisher on the adjacent pond, is a lovingly renovated outbuilding situated on the edge of the historic village of Appledore.
