We had a great stay! We visited with 4 adults, a baby and a dog and we had lots of space to hang out in the main area. Sherbrooke village is just minutes away. Very peaceful and quiet area. Definitely recommend :)

The Keppoch Cottage - trails right in the back!

HelenaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is a lovely place to stay - we were in Antigonish for convocation, but were all wishing that we could have spent a few more days hanging out and exploring more of the trail system which really is just outside the door! We did get out one afternoon for a great walk and for nature lovers, we hunted for woodcocks and spring peeper frogs (such a symphony every night)! Chris was a great host and checked in with us regularly during our stay. We highly recommend this home to anyone looking for nature yet convenient access to Antigonish.

Sutherland House

Marie-AnneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Couple, 1 night, June 2025 A charming house, bright and cheerful. Very cosy, with books, DVD and LPs. Extremely quiet place, a bit out of the way; Sherbrooke (a grocery store in the village) about 15 km away. Comfortable beds. The bedrooms upstairs have a slanting roof which might be a bit awkward for tall persons. Well equipped kitchen. We did not meet Jake, alas. Would be great to stay longer!

Comfy Cozy Studio Cottage

Erin & TrevorRating, 5 stars1 day ago
This is the perfect home base for your Cabot Trail exploration. Moments from the causeway, but the location feels serene and secluded. Although it looks very close to the main house in the photos, it is very private and we felt like we were all by ourselves. Loved sitting out on the porch watching the hummingbirds in the evening. Cozy, comfy (10/10 bed!), spotless. We will be very likely to stay again!

Deerbrook

Derek's place is a perfect authentic chalet with modern amenities in a beautiful natural setting. Inside was spotless and had everything we might need. Our dog was happy to play in the nearby stream and watch the birds flying to the feeders. It was a great base for visiting Guysborough and Antigonish/New Glasgow.

Always On Lake Time

ChantelRating, 5 stars9 months ago
This was the perfect end of summer vacation for my family. The location was exactly as described and could not be more perfect for the peaceful getaway we had been hoping for. We had plenty of options for things to do during our stay. It worked out perfectly Isaac Harbour/Goldborro Days, and Sherbrooke Village Havrest Festival had been happening in communities nearby. Giving us plenty of excursion options. Dianne was very quick and responsive to any questions we had. Thanks again Dianne!

Charming house on the shore of Chedabucto Bay

SusanRating, 5 stars7 months ago
This house suited us perfectly. We appreciated its elderly charm, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings, colorful art, wood stove, and — of course — that view. We enjoyed a couple of hikes and braved the tidal crossing once (COLD), but mostly we stayed put and read, cooked, and watched the changing light and water movement by the hour. The peacefulness was heavenly. Bonus points for an excellent selection of contemporary fiction.
