Beachfront holiday rental in Assateague Island

The apartment is beautiful, very comfortable, and fully equipped with everything you need for a great beach vacation. We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the space.

The attention to detail and personal touches were impeccable. Its a perfect location steps to the beach. The outdoor space is a great way to spend mornings and evenings. This was a special trip for our family and everyone felt this place knocked it out of the park!

this is the … you know, i don’t even know what time at this point as my friends and i have made it a tradition to stay here twice per year for the last 3? 4? 5 years? john’s place never ceases to amaze me especially this time w/ multiple renovations including a master bedroom downstairs! can’t say enough good things, look forward to booking in the fall, thank you so much john!

Beautiful spot! Great location, close to all the happenings of Ocean City, but peaceful and quiet at the house…perfect set up. Great neighborhood. The house is beautiful, all the beds very comfortable. The back deck is gorgeous, thoroughly enjoyed that space and taking the kayaks out on the canal! It’s worth bringing your own linens and towels, we packed everything into a large tote and it worked out perfectly. Very responsive and friendly host! We had a great time here and plan to return. Highly recommend!

We loved out time at this Bayside home. My boys spent outside upon hours at the little private beach, where the water doesn't really get deep for quite a ways and the waves were never very rough. it was perfect for them. we all enjoyed the hot tub, kayaks, comfortable beds. My personal favorite was the hammock right by the water, listening to nothing but the waves and the calls of the ospreys that made the area their home. Forget the overly built up touristy areas and give this place a try. You will not regret it.

First of all, this house and the views are STUNNING. This was the first vacation that I have taken with my fiancé and our 2 pups, and we had the best time--it was such a sad day when we had to leave lol. We basically ordered Doordash and Walmart Pickups the entire time we were there and never left the property during our stay. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the cookware you could need, there are kayaks and paddle boards for entertainment, and plenty of floats for relaxing in the bay. There is a little private beach within 1 min walking distance from the house and there is access to the water from the backyard. It had everything we wanted for a relaxing vacation with our pups. I am already working on convincing my fiancé that we need to go back in the near future. 10/10 would recommend.

The place is great. Right on the beach with great decks and views — we didn’t need to put on shoes the entire time. Walkable also to lots of restaurants and other businesses. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars on the location is not because of the house but because of the way Ocean City is structured — there really is no way to get around without going on the main, high-traffic road and few places to walk dogs comfortably in the summer when they’re not allowed on the beach. Also note you will have to make your own beds when you arrive and strip them when you leave. Other than that this place is excellent! All of us — from 5 months to 45 years and 2 dogs in between — had a great time.

We had a fantastic stay at this charming cottage on a private beach! The peaceful setting and direct access to the water made for a truly relaxing getaway. We especially loved the Adirondack chairs and firepit overlooking the Chesapeake Bay—perfect for amazing views and cozy evenings. The master bedroom and living spaces offered beautiful water views that made every moment feel serene and special. The owner was incredibly accommodating with check-in and shared thoughtful, personal tips that made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to unwind by the bay!

This is the second year we stayed at this beautiful condo! Views of both ocean and the bay are spectacular!! Condo was clean and easy to access. Love the pool and beach! Close to great restaurants!! Margaret is a fantastic host!! Highly recommend this condo! We will definitely be back next year ❤️

Identical to pictures! Beautiful rental in convenient location. The beach and boardwalk were easily walkable and having Fish Tales next door was convenient! My only suggestion would be is to bring an eye mask if you are a light sleeper, there are no shades on kitchen windows so it’s very bright in the early morning since it’s all connected. It helped us to get up and moving in the morning so we didn’t mind. Morgan was quick to reply to messages and a very gracious owner! We will definitely be back.

Listing is better than you think it is! Great location (I was nervous about it because we usually stay closer to 120th St) it was very private and peaceful. Big bonus that it is right over the bridge (no extra traffic lights!) The kitchen is fully stocked - we wound up bringing a lot that we didn’t need. The pullout couch is also one of the most comfortable I’ve ever been on. Beautifully decorated and updated. Might book again this season!

We had a wonderful stay at Chris and Loreees place! Super responsive when needed and clear instructions for check in and out. Private, quite, clean building and condo and we had everything we needed. The views were stunning & exactly as pictured. Walking distance to many stores, restaurants, and 7-11 next door for convenience. I would recommend staying here!

Adam was a great host, answered all questions we had in a timely manner and went above and beyond to check in to make sure we were settling in and enjoying our stay. Our daughter loved the extra amenities of toys and the bunk beds. This home provided beautiful views of the sunrise on the beach and an excellent view of the sunset on the bay. We are already planning our next stay.

We had a wonderful time! Waking up both mornings to dolphins right outside your sliding glass door was the highlight! We can’t wait to get back!

The location of Haley & Mike's townhouse is perfect. It gives you walk out access to a beautiful wide private beach. There are stunning views of the ocean and sky from the main living space and 2 of the bedrooms. Coffee or cocktails on the screened in porch watching the dolphins is hard to beat! My husband and I traveled with our 2 adult daughters and the accommodations met all of our needs. The main living space has a big comfy couch and plenty of seating plus a big screen tv and a large table that was perfect for meals or card games. The kitchen is well equipped and we took advantage of the gas grill to make dinner one night. There are loads of beach chairs, umbrellas and even tennis balls and racquets for the courts right across the street. Haley and Mike were very responsive hosts. We appreciated their golf, mini golf and dining recommendations. Hope to be able to come back sometime soon.

This home was perfect for our family getaway! Shawn was an excellent host! The home had great amenities and things for our family to do! We really appreciated the beach gear, chairs, wagon, pool toys and games. You can tell Shawn put a lot of thought into this home and what it has to offer to its guests. Christopher's house was absolutely beautiful with tons of space, it was perfrect for our family getaway. The photos online were great and definitely the reason I booked. However, the photos did the house no justice. It far exceeded my expectations after seeing the house in person. The space was super accommodating for my family. There were tons of boards games, fully equiped kitchen, and top of the line appliances, which made our stay even more comfortable. One of the best parts was being able to fish right in the backyard; such a peaceful and fun experience. The house was also very clean and included brand new washcloths, which was a nice touch and much appreciated. On top of all that, the location couldn't have been better, it was just minutes from the OC boardwalk. I am already forward to my next stay. Highly recommend!

Laura was a very responsive and wonderful host! She went above and beyond with providing a variety of things to do and see during our stay. She also made sure the check in and check out process went smoothly. The home was well kept, clean and had a great view! We love the Haven on the Bay! This was our third year staying here, and we can't rave enough about how perfect a space it is for us. The waterfront view is incredibly peaceful, the sunrise is gorgeous, and the physical space invites great quality time for the group. Ashley was a very gracious host, and was very quick to respond anytime we reached out with a question. We even had the joy of seeing dolphins while we were roasting s'mores around the fire pit!
