Holiday houses in Astypalea

We had a great stay at Nikos's place! The house is very comfortable and clean, close to all amenities. Nikos came to pick us up at the airport and was a little with us showing us the island and giving us many directions that were very useful. He called us every day to see if we needed anything. We changed the towels and sheets in the middle of the week and cleaned the house. Nikos, you're fantastic, hello from Nadia,Laura and Elisabetta. We'll be back soon!

Huge and spacious apartment with 2 toilets which is fully equipped with everything a family of 4 needs (such as a washing machine). Maybe for a heatwave it takes a 2 A/C in the 2 bedroom. However, we settled in with the fan because the temperatures on the island were below 30 C. Generally a very pleasant experience on a beautiful island with friendly people, nice beaches and great (albeit a little expensive) food.

Wonderful house with breathtaking view of the sea. The real treat of Peggy's House is that down a stone path through Peggy's lovely garden is a beautiful beach with trees for shade and great swimming. Most days its yours (& Peggy's). The house is well stocked with pots, plates, etc. Peggy even left some homemade strawberry jam in the refrigerator and the market is a five minute walk away. We may have been the first visitors of the season so the house needed a day of airing out the rooms. All in all Peggy was helpful and welcoming - a consummate host! Astypalaia is a arid island of rocky beaches, roaming goats, and lots of bees (tasty thyme honey abounds). Its worth renting a car to visit the more remote beaches. Great dining in Livadi and Astapalea, the latter has some great bars too. Folks are very friendly. Its an island that is both rustic and in many ways quite cosmopolitan. Much to love and do here. Would happily return to Astypalaia and would stay again at Peggy's lovely home.

From the moment we set foot into Golden View house we were greeted by stunning views of the township and our beautiful host who had prepared freshly baked authentic Greek food. The house was spacious, clean and has delightful views that we enjoyed from the balcony. We were very grateful for the warm welcome from our host and the local community who made us feel at home. Astypalaia was the perfect place for a relaxing and welcoming getaway while travelling with my sisters from Australia. Would highly recommend this place to stay!

Great place. Good location half way between windmills and the port. Lovely walk up to the bakery every morning! The apartment is lovely with several terraces. Stairs up to bedrooms are quite steep which was fine for us but just be aware if you might have trouble with that.

oh Maria, we loved you because you lead the best restaurant on the island right next to the neighborhood. We ended up not going anywhere else, because the bay, located at the apartment and restaurant, is uniquely beautiful, certainly the most beautiful place on the island ... The apartment is very attractively furnished and friendly bright. And yes, the snack underneath the apartment sometimes (we were there in September) noise because of its extractor, but we were not there most of the time, were able to sleep with the door open and didn't let us be bothered by the one mosquito

Staying at 5 Traditional Suits was one of the best choices we’ve made. The room was sparkling clean, comfortable and excellently located. You can reach to Livadi beach in 5 mins by walk and find there everything you need such as restaurants, supermarkets and a coffee place. On the other side again by 5mins walk there’s another beach where you can find tranquility. Special thanks to Maria! She was amazing, she was very helpful and extremely welcoming.
