Monthly Rentals in Ataahua

This was my second time at the cabin, just as peaceful as the first! Gorgeous spot in Banks Peninsula, great access to two amazing tracks (on the same road as the cabin!). This time I did monument track south, over to Rod Donald hut - 5 hour round trip, absolute perfection! Thank you for the breakfast provisions, perfect hiking preparation!

We had a wonderful time at Denise and Regs place and they made us very welcome. Wonderful spot, beautiful garden and great trail path which was such fun to explore. Accommodation was perfect and all we wanted and would have love to stay longer. Loved the local area so picturesque and beautiful

We had the most amazing weekend at Sandra & Daryn’s!! So much so that we have already rebooked for a few months time!! We absolutely loved it!! From the moment we walked in the door we felt so cosy & warm & relaxed! It was so peaceful, beautiful & clean! The house was so tastefully decorated & it was even better than we imagined! We wish we could have stayed there longer & with amenities like a full kitchen with a dishwasher & washing machine & dryer it would be easy to! Highlights for us included the Chrome Cast which meant we could watch our fav tv series on the TV, the fresh cold water from the fridge dispenser & I loved being able to go upstairs & read my book & look out to the ocean while my husband watched basketball downstairs! The couches & bed were so comfortable! We also really enjoyed going to the Ferrymead night market for dinner - only a 12 min drive! Sandra & Daryn thought of everything & were so great at checking in & making sure we were ok! We can’t wait to come back!!

I would say that this home far exceeds the average standards. Ulrike’s home really makes you feel like you are home. The garden is beautiful and overlooks the sea to Lyttelton. Everything inside is aesthetically pleasing, and you can tell that she puts extra care into each individual accent. She really counts for what people might like to do and make sure that the home is full of endless possibilities and suggestions and ways for you to detach from screens and enjoy the space that you’re in. She’s also very communicative and a joy to talk with and share with. Even though the main property is on the same site as the guest house you never feel like your privacy is being invaded. They leave a lot of space for you to explore and to just have peace with yourself and your partner. The grill was an exceptional piece and bonus. We loved making burgers and cooking and the kitchen had everything that you could ask for. It’s just very clear that Ulrike puts a lot of care into their space.
