We had the most wonderful stay at The Honey Hole for our anniversary getaway! From the moment we arrived, it felt like home—cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. Colton is an incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful host who made everything so easy. We loved the amenities—the hot tub overlooking the woods was a dream, the pool table made for fun evenings, and the grill was perfect for outdoor meals. Renting the ATV and dirt bike was such a fun bonus, and the trails were scenic and relaxing. It was also a huge plus that the cabin was pet-friendly—we were so grateful to bring our pets along and felt completely welcome. The whole experience felt like staying with family. We left with full hearts, wonderful memories, and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this special place!

This cabin is a wonderful place for a weekend getaway, honeymoon, or just a place to stop for the night. It was a wonderful place for my husband and I to spend the first half of our honeymoon while we explored Hocking Hills State Park. We recommend going to Los Mariachis for dinner and then driving to Logan to get some ice cream! Host is very kind and responds quickly to messages. Overall we had a great experience!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The place was clean, comfortable, had the necessary amenities. There were lots of fun, outdoor activities close by.

You couldn't ask for more when staying at the Basecamp. The cabin has all the amenities you can think and then some. We were really blown away with the cleanliness and attention to detail as it truly felt like we were staying at a cabin built with hospitality in mind. The Basecamp features an attached 2 bathroom building with separate showers. The cabin itself provides many different clean cooking utensils, a private restroom (no shower), dishwasher, refrigerator, board games, and an intuitive guide book on the cabin and local recommendations. If you're a mountain biker and are looking to ride Bailey's trail system, look no further. It is situated in such a place that you can either bike up the road to the top to ride down the trails, cut in down the road at Wild Turkey, or bike down to the bottom and climb back up the trails. Should we come back down to Bailey's, the Basecamp is the only choice to stay.

We enjoyed our stay so much, very relaxing and quiet. Everything was just as described. We will for sure be back. Be sure to eat the ribs at the cafe inside Rocky Boots, it was great!

The place was as described. It was beautiful and peaceful. We took our dogs and they love the surroundings. It was just what we were looking for.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay we felt right at home here. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. House was in great condition. Alec answered every question we had within minutes.

Such a beautiful little get away! Maybe a better sign at the road? And instructions on how to navigate the 3 remotes for the TV, wi-fi password would be nice also. But, we had a great stay!

I needed a quiet getaway for myself to reconnect and recharge my soul and found the perfect place! Everything was as expected! I sat by the river and read a book and just enjoyed the peacefulness that surrounded me. Had a couple deer visitors which was a pleasant surprise. I will definitely be back again!

Great location. close enough to the hiking trails, far enough away to feel private. Wifi worked great for that area! Great views! very clean! love the cabin feel and the hot tub!

The house is tiny,but clean and as described in the listing. Very close to Bur Oak and Wayne National Forest. It’s perfect for one or two people on a weekend hiking get away. Would stay there again, if ever in the area.

My family had the best time this past weekend. It was the first time taking the kids camping so this more primitive cabin was just perfect. Beautiful spot, close to Athens for yummy restaurants, and Keith was super friendly and responsive when we needed more water, wood, etc. We definitely plan to come back!

Brand new cabin and very well constructed. Very clean and comfortable. Sometimes cabins can be furnished with 'inexpensive' (read: cheap) appliances, furniture, beds, etc. But this was not the case with this cabin. Very clean and comfortable. Stayed at the cabin during Ohio University's Dad's Weekend. Would repeat.

Convenient location for our family get together in nearby Vincent. Very peaceful setting. Make sure you check-in while it is light out, as it is hard to find in the dark (we drove by it a few times).
