Enjoy the beautiful NY evenings and get away from it all with a campfire and tent under the stars. You’ll have a shower/toilet shed and campfire area to enjoy as well as the specious, 16’ tent and a gorgeous view! We are minutes from Sharon Springs and 25 minutes to Cooperstown. We have bedding, towels and blankets but bring your favorite pillows and water. Our goal is to provide you with all the necessities and a place to make memories. We live on the property but you’ll have complete privacy.

Unwind by the fire pit, grill dinner under the trees, and soak in epic views from our mountaintop observation deck. Bath houses nearby. WiFi is available. AWD/4WD mandatory for the steep gravel road. The “Jammer” comes with a queen bed, bathroom with toilet and vanity, a kitchen equipped with a mini fridge, electric burner, sink, and coffee bar. You will also have full use of the luxurious bath house and pavilion. The “Jammer” is one of 9 total rental units on Glamping Retro property, which totals 16 acres. Glamping Retro sits on the TN/NC state line, and backs up to the Pisgah National Forest. The AT is 1.4 miles from us!

Ice skate or xc-ski across the frozen lake and watch the bald eagles fly overhead, or relax in the Adirondack chairs in front of the bonfire while you make smores and cook dinner on the grill or over the open fire, then snuggle up inside the tipi while you listen to vintage vinyl and let the owls hoot you to sleep. *Tipi closed March-April.

When you come up our lane, stop at our house and we will take you to the site. You can drive to it. Please read and understand all our rules before you visit.
