You'll love spending time on the front porch! You might get a chance to see our longhorn herd walking by! We have another house on the property which is listed as "Koch Ranch - Hester House". These two houses are close to each other, but they face different directions providing privacy for each house.

Our original 1890’s hand-hewn log cabin has been lovingly restored for your enjoyment. The First Floor Living room area offers a comfy leather couch and recliner chair great for relaxing and napping opportunities. A fully functional kitchen is provided with refrigerator, stove, microwave, and garbage disposal. Breakfast fixings are provided. A King-Sized bed with a top-of-the-line Stearns and Foster mattress makes for a great night’s sleep. Enjoy the giant shower and roomy bathroom.

This cabin is surrounded by woods and wildlife. It faces a spring-fed pond, on 59 acres of woodland trails. It’s not every day that a guest can sleep, windows open, surrounded by woods or enjoy rain falling on a tin roof. Awakening to see the mist on the pond or a great blue heron take flight, to feed the fish and turtles from the pond pier deck, to watch the gentle longhorns amble by—these are priceless moments to share or enjoy alone.

Tucked away in the eastern section of our woods, the Homestead Cabin is a private retreat oasis with a hot tub. The Homestead Cabin is an original 1850’s hand-hewn log cabin, lovingly restored for your enjoyment. Doors, trim, cabinetry and railings were made with wood that was original to the cabin.
