We spent 4 nights at floating paradise. It was like living for a few days at the end of the world away from the world. Ben and Nino accompanied us during these few days and were attentive to all our needs. Breakfasts were varied every day and delicious ("itu lezat" as they say). We experienced the private boat ride it was an amazing experience (we even saw turtles during snorkeling). If you're planning on exploring the island, scooters are the right way to be independent. We rented them with Ben's help and all we had to do was put them on and left with them. Kayaks have been provided for free to explore the nearby beaches... Too bad the cancellation of the Thursday morning boat forced us to leave a day earlier on Wednesday, and therefore not make our last night... Thank you for everything 😍

This was the last place we stayed in Bali and it was by far our favorite place. Not only is the accommodation phenomenal and beautiful, with a great view of the waterfall from the rooms, but it has a tree-house feel and is so unique. We saw a lot of wildlife, but were never pestered by anything (bugs, geckos, etc weren't a bother). But importantly, the staff were the kindest, most helpful and most accommodating staff that we had experienced in Bali. We enjoyed every meal that we had in the restaurant, and the staff are lovely to visit with. There are several recommended activities, where transportation was arranged. We have already recommended our friends and family to stay here, if they visit Bali. Thank you, Gumi Ayu! ♡

We had an amazing stay! Saw lots of wildlife including turtles, platypus and possums which was incredible right on your doorstop! Highly recommend.

A great place to stay. We slept one night in the bird's nest and one night in a normal room. An adventure that you absolutely must experience. The complex is incredibly beautifully laid out, the staff are super nice and the pick-up service on the first day worked without any problems. You are a bit outside the city and the hustle and bustle of Ubud, but you can easily walk to all the sights with a short walk. Our tip: definitely try the breakfast and book a massage. We can only recommend the place:)

We absolutely loved our stay here. The location was perfect! Nice and quiet but still very central. There were so many nice restaurants near us and supermarkets. You only have to walk maybe 2 minutes from the main road with your bags so that wasn’t an issue at all. 10/10 will recommend to our friends.

good value overall, very good hospitality and great breakfast, I was even able to eat with the family after the day of Ramadan, it can help you do any type of exit, maybe lacks a light and the mattress is springs it could be improved

The visit was magical. Airport pickup worked and I was wonderfully welcomed by the family. Dewu was helpful and very accommodating. The little house was beautiful and paradisiacal. I had the Garden Room and the view from my cottage was really breathtaking. Every morning there was homemade Balinese breakfast served in the room. The food was very delicious. The excursions I went with Dewu were beautiful. Since I'm traveling alone, it was good to have a guide by his side to explain everything. He also made beautiful videos and photos of me. Since this place is more rural and not directly at the center, you can relax and come down there. There is a pool where you can cool off. I am super happy with my stay. There was also always the possibility to get dinner in the room. The value is great.

My stay at Maya Eco Retreat was truly exceptional and easily one of the best experiences I’ve had. This stunning bamboo hotel in Bali offers a unique combination of comfort, elegance, and tranquility that made our honeymoon unforgettable. The floating breakfast was not only visually stunning but also incredibly delicious, making for a perfect start to each morning. The staff were consistently attentive and approachable, always ready to assist with any requests. Their genuine hospitality made us feel welcomed and truly at home throughout our entire visit. Staying at Stephen and Philamae’s home was an experience! It was easily one of my favourite places I’ve ever stayed. It was like a creative’s haven and I left filled with inspiration. Every detail in the home was so well thought out and intentional. From a fairy lit labyrinth for the evening, to paintings you can get lost in, to such an incredible view (I can’t stress this enough) that is just divine to catch the sunrise and sunset, this was a place that just kept giving. You could get lost in the detail, and the view. There were plenty of amenities. The shared spaces were incredible to linger in. Everything was well stocked. I had memorable conversations with the host and helper that were so warm and insightful. Expect to leave feeling rejuvenated! It really is such an incredible haven. I’m so grateful that I had the chance to experience it! Thank you so much Stephen and Philamae. I hope to come back soon!

I loved this place. Awesome view from the pool and right in nature. It’s real quiet expect for the animals but that’s why we came here. I recommend this place for anybody who’s looking for a romantic getaway right in the heart of nature. The host is awesome always reacts on my messages within minutes. Thank you again!

This is by far the best Airbnb my husband and I have ever stayed at. This isn’t just an Airbnb it’s and experience.. to completely leave the hustle and bustle of Bali and find yourself perched up on a beautiful mountain overlooking the most gorgeous lake with little town below. This honestly felt like we were in France, it helped that Ludos and Stephanie and Manon made it feel exactly that. A home away from home. My husband and I very rarely do shared accommodation but this was beyond amazing. This families hospitality, their quirkiness, their helpfulness is beyond words. Even so they assisted my husband to a local doctor when he was unwell, they gave us countless contacts so that our time there was seamless. And most importantly… the FOOD. We didn’t go out for dinner or breakfast once.. simply because the home cooked meals EXUDED love and flavour, all I can say is if you’re on the edge and not sure.. book it 🤣 Thank you again guys, we’ll miss you and we’ll be back 💕💕

Putri is incredibly hospitable and communicative. The staff went above and beyond with all my requests, ensuring my stay was both enjoyable and comfortable. The lodge is extremely beautiful and one of a kind with stunning views and a peaceful/relaxing vibe. The interior is designed beautifully with unique features that you won't find elsewhere. Black lava camp was a beautiful place to spend our honeymoon. Staff were extremely responsive and kind. Our driver was awesome and kind as well.

Was an amazing get away for myself, the wife & our 2 fur babies. First ever trip away from home with the dogs & the place delivered such an exceptional location for a dog friendly place to stay. Amazing amenities & the location was stunning. Felt like a getaway vacation where we could truly relax while not having to worry about the dogs, as they were with us the whole time! But we still felt we could relax & enjoy some us time! Will definitely be staying here again! Thanks for a memorable night ❤️
