Carla’s place was great for a night or two in Madrid. I had a very short stay and had to be back at the airport the next day, so it was well located for that. There are plenty of cafes nearby and it is only a 10-minute walk to the metro station. The room and bathroom were clean and the shower was great.

Excellent place to stay. Patricia is an American living in Spain for 40 yrs - thus the best of both worlds. Spotless location, very accommodating and friendly. An entire room and living room to yourself so plenty of space . I came in June and NO A/C in the bedroom would be fine anytime outside of summer , but for me this one detail made the stay quite sweaty at nights :) A fan is over the bed which just moved warm air :) - all to say, something to consider about staying here in the summer. Apt on 8th floor w elevators, so luggage not an issue. Thank you, Patricia!
