Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Portimão

We spent a lovely stay at this villa. Very well maintained, very clean and comfortable - located in a very nice pine tree private condominium with other villas near by. It can accommodate 10/12 people with plenty of space. Kitchen has been renovated this past winter, and most of the kitchen appliances are new. It has AC in all areas which is perfect for summer and winter months. The garden is very nice and the swimming pool with plenty of sun! Hosts are amazing and did everything they could to meet our needs. They also supported us with suggestions and requests prior our stay! We cannot ask for more, and we will come back definitely next year.

Sophie’s place is so perfect, we loved it during our 7 night stay. Amazing location, and the space was beautiful. We enjoyed everything about the house and the area. Highly recommend

Asa’s home is a great spot for a family vacation, it is very comfortable, located in a peaceful complex with a beautiful pool and in close proximity (walking distance) to a beautiful beach. The children enjoyed the home so much as it also had a small playground next door to the house. There were two other areas also within a walking distance with restaurants and other beaches. All in all greatly recommended. Thank you for the beautiful visit. 🤍

Pedro's place is absolutely beautiful, with a grand vista of the ocean! It's clean and convenient and we loved it!

We had booked very last minute 2 hours before our arrival. Check-in was still completely straightforward and Carmo had prepared everything for our arrival. The bed is very comfortable and it is very quiet at night even though the bedroom window goes directly onto the street. Otherwise, the house offers everything you need and the mountain village is a charming starting point for excursions to the beach and the surrounding area.

Actually, so much has already been written about this great Airbnb. We agree with ALL positive reviews. If you are planning an individual holiday in the Algarve, you should book here. It was fantastic. Our life in the almost 2 weeks took place mostly outside. It is so nice to enjoy the first coffee/tea on the roof terrace in the morning or wine in the evening. Our 2nd favorite place was the courtyard with kitchen counter. We loved having breakfast here and enjoying the affogato in between. We had planned not to cook. However, it was so much fun in this well-equipped kitchen. So, there were small dishes or salads in the evening. Restaurants, the small market hall, the local grocery stores and 2 discount stores are within walking distance. We liked Silves very much. Eva's place was the perfect place to call home in Lagos. It's in a quieter area of the city but still walkable to everywhere. She was very helpful with instructions and advice for our stay and had someone to greet us while she talked us through the place via video call. lots of attention to detail and a very nicely decorated place, but still practical. If you're a light sleeper, ear plugs for the seagulls would be a good idea, but that's the same for anywhere in Lagos. Was able to find parking each day too and instructions in guestbook were great for confirming parking spots. Highly recommend.

A lovely villa with everything you could need for a large group/family stay. Well equipped kitchens and dining rooms Great swimming pool and it was wonderful that all rooms could access it independently. The Villa had great facilities inside and out and so many nooks and crannies where you could find peace if you were seeking it. Cleaner and pool cleaner attend regularly and there was plenty of linen/towels available. If heading early season - I would recommend paying to have the pool heated - it made all the difference and we were straight in every day. I cannot understate how much we enjoyed our stay at here in our first trip to the Algarve region. Mario was very friendly and an excellent host. He gave us great recommendations for local restaurants, helped us find parking, and provided everything we needed to for our toddler to feel at home. The house is in a perfect location to walk to the beach and a variety of restaurants also. We would 100% recommend Mario and this location.

My fiance and I thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay in Sofia's apartment. The apartment was clean, bright and welcoming, with a balcony, a fully equipped kitchen and a great open plan layout. The location was perfect, just 5 mins walk from the beach and within a few minutes drive of multiple supermarkets and the local mall. Sofia's communication was warm and friendly from the outset, and she was always responsive to any queries I had. She provided helpful tips for the local area on arrival, and messaged during our stay to make sure we didn't need anything. Overall, we had a great time in Sofia's apartment and wouldn't hesitate to return in future. Thank you Sofia!

We enjoyed our stay at Sofia's apartment. Location of the apartment is great, walkable to beaches and restaurants. Apartment had a nice pool, we were there almost every day. Sofia was very helpful, and gave us good suggestions about the area. Instructions for checkin was great. Sofia made more flexible check in and check out, which is great as we were travelling with toddler. We would stay again in Sofia's apartment if we are coming to Portimão. Great place to stay for a family.

We had an amazing stay at Jorges apartment. It is just as the pictures show. Very clean and modern with everything we needed. We were travelling with our 3 kids and really felt at home. Access to outside pool downstairs and 5 min walk to beach. There is a pool cafe on-site owned by a lovely couple, which has tasty food and drinks at great prices. There is also a nice restaurant at the front of the building. Lovely walks along the cliffs to nearby beaches and restaurants. We rented a car and parking was easy at front and back of apartments. 5 min drive to Alvor or to supermarkets. Also Uber eats and Bolt for food delivery to the building. Jorge was very helpful and was so accommodating when we arrived later at night than we had planned. It’s a little slice of paradise and we would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Portugal.

Amazing place for relaxing and vacationing! Fantastic house, very tidy, everything works, the house is beautiful, the pool was perfect. Perfect location of the house. Walking distance to the center of Carvoeiro. However, you can have some privacy at the house. The village of Carvoeiro is just lovely. Lots to do and see even though the village is quite small. Great restaurants and lovely cafes. A special mention that the house is next to its own vineyard. Wine is good:) One bottle ready for house renters in the fridge; part of the stay. Our family enjoyed the house so much that our daughters would already like to come back for a couple of weeks. Highly recommend. Antonio was also nice as a host. Friendly and considerate.

The apartment is located in a spectacular area, the object of many visits due to the fantastic views. The location is exceptional, you can walk to supermarket and beach and there are several areas very close to leaving our vehicle. The orientation of the apartment, without being exactly a first line, allows you to enjoy the sea in a fantastic way from the side balcony you have, very well adapted to comfortably enjoy a refreshment or a coffee, as well as from the terrace located at the entrance to the apartment equipped with comfortable furniture to relax looking at the Sea. The interaction with the hostess has been close and agile from the first moment and the apartment is beautiful, tastefully renovated, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living room with everything you need to relax and the beds very comfortable, in short it seemed a great option in all aspects. We traveled with our pet and had a great time.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Coral Algarve. The apartment has the perfect size and distributions to feel right at home. It was a pleasure to cook, and work outside in the balcony once the sun had turned away in the afternoon. We loved the little details of the apartment, the decoration and really appreciated the books they left for us to read. The apartment is also really close to the beach, the towns bay on Fridays is super beautiful and lively. We also were really close to the Benagil Cave. The hosts recommendations for dinner were awesome. We loved the food and service at Restaurante Casa da Tocha. We really recommend getting breakfast at the Delicias Pasteleria and burgers at Pim Pam Pum. Will be coming back for sure! 😎

Likely the best location in Algarve if you are looking for a quiet stay. Apartment is nice, clean, well located, nice balcony, Kitchen is well equipped. We were expecting something upscale and trendy but it was a bit dated, however it is still very nice and very much above average. We could easily have spent 2-3 weeks here ! Armacao de Pera is often an overlooked beach city for a stay. It is quiet VERY quiet (except dog barking), everything closes around 10PM. But you still can get ice cream and a cold beer at Gelatos upto mid-night. Then if you need wild animation Arbufeira and Portimao are within 15 min ride. (Uber cost only 12-15 euro to get backhome). Then the best part is the beach : right in front of the apartment. It is the best soft sand beach in the area and its temperature is above the coast's average. We LOVED this place.

place is really nice, spacious, nice lot of provisions provided, lots of restaurants and of course right on the beach. fantastic tips about all things in the area provided. if you are a light sleeper you will need ear plugs but it's not too noisy considering you are right in the heart of a resort town (i slept well).
