Take a boat, or walk to Torno to find a bar, cafe, shop, and restaurants. Como is a short drive, and public transport is close by. The apartment is 5 km from Como, 2 km from Torno, 40 km from Milan, 38 km from Lugano. It can be reached by public transport: the C30 C31 C32 buses leave approximately every hour from Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como- Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio - Decorations Savio stop, about 100 m from the house. Pleasant alternative to traditional public transport can be the use of the boats of the navigation of Lake Como, starting from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

Two stone houses immersed in the woods, in the small "Gropp" complex, reachable from the parking lot in 18 minutes on foot along a paved pedestrian road, the last 10 minutes of which are a slightly uphill path in the woods. Dedicated to those who love nature, those who appreciate tranquility, simple life, those who are not discouraged if at night they hear the animals of the forest wandering, those who are enchanted to listen to the birds and those who love swimming in the magnificent blue pools of the Maggia River.

Wonderful rustic duplex, nestled in the heart of Avegno, offers peace and quiet. Inside there is a small dining room corner with fireplace and pine cone and a new kitchen; climbing the stairs you enter the two bedrooms, a double bedroom of a thousand and one nights and a convertible from single bed to double bed and a comfortable bathroom with bathtub. Outside there are many spaces for reading or eating, a beautiful terrace with a chaise longue, a patio with a table and chairs and a small garden with armchairs.

Once the home of my grandmother and her family, it still retains the authentic atmosphere of small-town life, nestled among historic alleys and just a stone’s throw from nature. From here, you can easily walk to the river, climbing and bouldering crags and areas, as well as grottoes and numerous hiking trails.

The house (Rustico) is located outside Cavigliano in a large, park-like Mediterranean garden with numerous seating areas on a quiet sunny south slope directly above the Melezza & Isorno rivers; 5-10 min. walk to the beach. Ideal for nature lovers & romantics. It is an ideal starting point for excursions, hiking, climbing and swimming. Attention: Due to the hillside location and steep stairs, we only rent the house to families with children aged 8 and over. Not suitable for disabled people.

The Darsena di Villa Sardagna, since 1720 belonging to the noble villa of the same name in Blevio, is a one-of-a-kind open space, made of ancient stone, white wood and glass. It overlooks a splendid panorama characterized by the historic Larian villas, including the Grand Hotel Villa D'Este. It offers a magnificent sunbathing terrace, ideal for romantic sunset aperitifs. Upon reservation, it offers breakfast, lunch and dinner service, as well as boat-renting and limousine taxi boats.

In January the temperature in the house is max 16 degrees Bed linen and towels 25.00 CHF per person. reservations of less than one week are accepted only in the month prior to the vacation date.
