Holiday houses in Avia

Zunächst einmal vorneweg: diese Unterkunft ist eine der schönsten und besten, die wir bisher in Griechenland je gebucht haben. Leider können wir nur 5 Sterne vergeben. Nikos ist ein außerordentlich zuvorkommender, netter und kommunikativer Gastgeber, der uns schon bei der Anreise mit wertvollen Informationen versorgt hat. Auch während unseres Aufenthaltes war er immer ansprechbar, hilfsbereit und hat uns wertvolle Tipps gegeben. Die Lage der Wohnung entsprach genau unseren Bedürfnissen. Sie ist ruhig und etwas Abseits gelegen. Ein wunderschöner Strand am Fuße der Steilküste ist in 5 Minuten fußläufig erreichbar und ein wahres Paradies. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig, sehr sauber, sehr gut ausgestattet und hat eine fantastische Dachterrasse mit einem phänomenalen Blick auf das Meer, Kalamata und die Berge, wo man garantiert Sonnenaufgänge und Sonnenuntergänge beobachten kann. Schade, dass unsere Zeit dort so schnell zu Ende ging.

We had a wonderful time staying at Andreas’ place! The room (+aircon!) was brilliant in the hot days and the garden overlooking the sunset was gorgeous. Andreas was a very welcoming host who made sure we had everything we needed. Thanks again for your hospitality and we hope to be back soon!

Μείναμε πολύ ευχαριστημένοι από την διαμονή μας! Και το σκυλιά μας επίσης ! Ένας απίστευτος χώρος με ιδιωτικό πάρκινγκ , ησυχία , το κάθε ενα σπιτάκι από πέτρα να είναι πανέμορφα , εξωτερικό χώρο με κήπο και πλακόστρωτα! Ο φίλος μου το λάτρεψε! Θέλαμε τελικά να μείνουμε παραπάνω από ότι υπολογίζαμε αλλά δυστυχώς δεν είχε διαθεσιμότητα ! Η τιμή πολύ καλή , αν και δε λειτουργούσε η πισίνα που αναφερόταν στις παροχές αλλά δεν ήταν πρόβλημα ! Επίσης στον ίδιο χώρο προβαλλόταν και ταινία θερινού σινεμά ! Γενικά η παραμονή μας ήταν πολύ ευχαριστη και το προτείνουμε !!!

The rest of the village is on top of a 30 metre cliff. You park at the church and walk down 50 steps on to the beach. The house stands along on the beach. The bedroom/Living room window is 10 metes from the sea! The beach is quiet with only the odd person visiting. Beautiful swimming from the house and my favourite snorkelling. Round the corner 100m are two good restaurants a Taverna/ pizza and a more upmarket fish wine one.

Une maison magnifique, parfaitement entretenue et arrangée, très propre et au calme, et avec une piscine extraordinaire. Tout le nécessaire est là pour passer de bons moments, et Katia et George sont extrêmement prévenants et accueillants, et nous ont donné beaucoup de conseils précieux sur la région Nous avons adoré notre séjour et regrettions juste qu’il soit si court !

Ivanka ist eine liebe Gastgeberin. Kommunikation und Check-In waren sehr gut. Wir hatten ein Problem mit der Bedienung der Klimaanlage, Ivanka war sofort erreichbar und hat uns geholfen. Das Haus ist geräumig und hat eine sehr schöne Terrasse. Die Wohnfläche ist auf mehrere Ebenen verteilt. Dadurch wirkt alles sehr aufgelockert, häufiges Treppensteigen ist allerdings notwendig. Das Haus liegt sehr schön an einem Hang und man hat einen schönen Blick auf das Meer und in eine nahe Schlucht. Aufgrund der Lage des Hauses ist ein Auto zwingend notwendig. Geparkt werden kann in unmittelbarer Nähe des Hauses.

Magnifique location située dans un environnement splendide, calme, entourée d'oliviers, le chant des oiseaux, le petit déjeuner sous les oliviers et le dîner face à la mer avec le coucher de soleil, absolument mémorable. La maison est très bien équipée, propre, tout est parfait pour un séjour réussi. Je reviendrai, c'est sûr !!!

A great experience. We highly recommend this Host. We loved: 1) Position. About 3' from the sea and less than 30' from the airport. Lots of restaurants and a Mini-Market just 5' walk (with a much bigger grocery store half-way from the airport). No rental car needed unless you are planning a visit to another town. 2) View. STUNNING, especially from the big terrace. 3) Looks of the apartment. Really cosy, conveys a sense of home away from home. Outstanding terrace. Absolutely perfect. 4) Furnishing. Well furnished, including a big BBQ in the terrace. 5) Air conditioning. Works like a charm. 6) Responsiveness of the Host: TOP. 7) Parking. Very easy to find a parking spot, even in high season. Areas of improvement. 8) Slow internet, the biggest issue. Too slow and at times completely lacking. 9) Check-in. We had to wait half-an-hour in the heat on arrival. 10) Sockets. Especially in the bedrooms, more sockets are needed by the bed side tables for lights, chargers and medical equipment.
