Beautiful apartment in the most beautiful surroundings. You couldn't ask for a better location. Sue was fantastic. So helpful. Can't wait to go back.

We really enjoyed a short break in this quirky property. It was clean, cosy and well-equipped, and a great base to explore the surrounding area. We walked in to Bristol (it took about an hour) but there is a regular bus service too. Nick was really welcoming and helpful. We'd be very happy to stay here again.

We spent a wonderful month in Bristol making Mark's rental our homebase. It is modern and clean and bright and uncluttered. The amenities, like the kitchen and the back bedroom, are excellent and its location is close to many shops and restaurants and even the St. Nicholas market, very walkable from his place. Mark himself was a great host. He was very responsive to our communications and was helpful and knowledgable. We'd recommend staying in his place and would stay ourselves if we go back to Bristol.

One of the best city accommodations we've experienced. The view of the cathedral is stunning and it's lovely to watch the city come to life in the morning (great people-watching spot!) with the sun streaming in. The kitchen is beautifully equipped, and there is a washer-dryer so if we were staying for longer we would have had everything we needed. Bed was super comfy and the room feels spacious; fab shower. It's only minutes from the station, and easy to get to all the main sights. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay at Yasmine's beautiful home. The photos don't do this gorgeous, colourful, art filled space justice. Everything exceeded expectations - we would love to come back. The neighbourhood is very cool, we didn't need to leave at all to find beautiful places to eat, drink and walk. We found the record collection a huge added bonus too! I can't recommend this beautiful home enough. 5* from check in to check out. Thanks so much :)

Home away from home it suited our family thank you for the warm welcome it was just what we needed!

We stayed for only one night as a halfway point for a long road trip and wish we could have stayed longer. The accommodation was truly stunning, spacious, pristine and immaculate. The small park next door was perfect for letting our dog have a run and sniff. Location is brilliant with lots of amenities on your doorstep. The hosts were incredibly friendly and checked in to ensure we were settled and had everything we needed. We hope to book again!

Had a wonderful stay. Very spacious. Private. Felt right at home. Lovely massive bed in the main bedroom pillows and duvet also comfortable. Didn't use the 2 single beds but also a lovely room. The cottage just felt like it had a lovely atmosphere. You can leave the door open and windows without feeling like you have to have the door shut. Did Cheddar Gorge and Caves, Wookey Hole and Weston-super-Mare. Went to the Langford Inn and the Railway Inn plus in Cheddar had a lovely Indian at Rasoi and Milkshakes at Lion Rock Tea room. Jodie and Angus were helpful and friendly :-) Next time will definitely use the hot tub!

John was very friendly and helpful! He stocked the kitchen with very nice snacks, drinks, and treats for our stay and gave us very helpful info for our travels. the space was so special and charming, one of our favorites fo sure!! the front yard garden is just gorgeous! 10/10 would stay again!

Spa-like bathroom with huge towels and a heated towel bar! The big screen TV was nice, too.

Sarah and Roger were fantastic & super responsive hosts, the cleanliness of the apartment was astonishing! Everything as described, lots of drawers to keep the space organised, amazing big shower, and a ceiling fan was a saviour during the heat wave. It was very sweet to have some nice ground coffee waiting for us in the fridge to be brewed when we arrive. Overall, 11/10. Thank you!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Jane Austen’s former home—charming, quirky, and full of character. The apartment is beautifully restored with a perfect mix of historic detail and modern comfort. From flagstone floors and Georgian panelling to surround sound and a rainfall shower, every space is thoughtfully designed. We especially loved the light-filled kitchen overlooking a rose-filled courtyard and the cozy, art-filled living spaces. The location is ideal, right across from the Holburne Museum and Sydney Gardens, and Maxwell was a fantastic host—warm, responsive, and attentive. Sitting at the wooden desk, it was easy to channel your inner Austen, finding inspiration here. A peaceful, welcoming home that made us feel both transported and completely at ease.

Melanie’s place is in an ideal location for visiting central Bristol and having a parking space quite nearby is an added bonus. The apartment is clean and has everything you need; plus the outdoor area was perfect given the hot weather we had. My only (very slight) criticism it is that the shower could be a bit more powerful. There is a superb little bar round the corner (recommended by Melanie) that serves lunches and has a nice courtyard sitting area out the back. I’d certainly recommend this apartment and would definitely come back again.

Absolutely stunning flat and it was spotless!

Jayne's apartment was perfect for a short work trip. Quietly located a short walk from bus routes from Bristol Parkway and into central Bristol, the area is quiet but convenient. The space compact but well laid out with everything you need for a short visit. The decor is lovely and the bed is one of the comfiest I've slept in! Having a kitchenette is great for self-catering and having tea, coffee and cereal included is a nice bonus. There's a Tesco and a Co-op within a 15min walk for all your essentials. I made the most of the nice weather with a walk through Britannia Woods (just across the road) and down the River Frome, which was lovely. Very much recommend Jayne's place and I'll definitely be back! Thank you :)

The flat lived up to the pictures and description.Flat was spacious, modern and very well equipped. Shower a bit complex at first and stairs a bit steep but otherwise excellent. Location great for the village and bridge.
