Public transport 1-3 minutes away. 1 min. from Gernika Market Square, the hospital and free parking. Note: the fireplace cannot be used.

Tucked on a wild fertile mountain a 400 year old barn was renovated by artists with natural materials. It is crooked, it is colourful, it is wild and will throw you in an another universe for the time of your stay. You have to be nimble on your feet as the tiny access path is crooked and on a slope, and even the floor in the house tilted. A full immersion in a new world for total disconnection.

perfect accommodation, in the middle of tranquility. Dogs are allowed and there is plenty of space to enjoy a barbecue and the outdoors. I would put a spotlight or lamppost outside the house, because when it gets dark, a little more light would be needed to enjoy the summer nights.

Wow, what a uniquely beautiful and interesting home. More like a mountain mansion from a movie set, with a lovely garden and pool. The living and dining rooms were spacious and decorated with great character. The original tree-trunk sized crossbeams and antique doors and windows make you feel like you've traveled back in time. It's so peaceful on the mountaintop with a great view. Luis and his sister Carlota are warm and responsive hosts, who only asked us to love their house as much as they do.

Spectacular accommodation. Detailed decoration and very complete kitchenware. We were looking for a place to enjoy time together and the layout of the house certainly made it easy for us.
