Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Babino Polje

We have just returned from a fabulous 2 week holiday, We would highly recommend this villa, well equipped,spotlessly clean,beautiful view, and very peaceful.

The view is a 15/10 and Irena was a great hostess! She was very proactive and took great care of me when I got sick. She made an extra trip with linens and had plenty of suggestions on where to get additional supplies. Even before I felt up for leaving the apartment, the view was healing in and of itself! Irena was also immediately helpful (at 10:30 at night!) in getting on the phone with the internet provider to reset the WiFi after a brief power outage that affected the entire bay. She got us up and running in just a few minutes! So grateful we stayed here!

You could consider being more responsive to messages, especially around check-in. When someone is travelling—like we were, coming from Albania—it’s reassuring to know everything is confirmed. We weren’t sure if the booking was secure, and since we hadn’t heard back from the host, we were worried we might have to make alternative arrangements at the last minute.

Excellent. A very special house for nature lovers, secluded in a private bay. You can only hear the birds and the sea. Sunset included. Very nice host. He even caught us fresh fish and prepared it deliciously. Unforgettable stay.

We were very satisfied with the accommodation located right next to the sea, literally a few steps away. The apartment was well equipped, the kitchen surprised us beyond our expectations, we found everything we needed in it (oven, stove, many plates, bowls, cutlery, pots, ladles, glasses, ...). Everything was clean and perfectly prepared. The double bed was very comfortable. The host Matej responded quickly and promptly to messages, provided an accurate description of where the accommodation is located. The host Maria was already waiting for us at the place, she showed and explained us everything, gave us many recommendations where to go on the island of Mljet. Much appreciated the care and kind attitude of host Maria, she adds value to this nice place. We had a great time and would love to come back.

Stayed in the apartment for a full week! A very nice place to explore the lower part of Croatia. Beach within walking distance. Nice place to park the car. Delightfully cool and clean apartment with a fantastic view! I want to go back!

We had a great experience staying at Marin’s place, he was such a great host, super friendly and always ready to help if we needed anything. The apartment was lovely and comfortable with everything you need and fantastic views. The possibility to use his bicycles was great! One of the most beautiful bike rides we’ve experienced, such gorgeous views! We’d love to come back again sometime and would really recommend staying at Vanja C!

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Osojnik. The area is so peaceful and quiet, the perfect place to unwind and recharge. We especially loved spending our days sunbathing by the pool and just enjoying the calm surroundings. The house itself was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed! It was exactly the kind of restful escape we were hoping for, and we already can’t wait to come back. Thank you for such a perfect stay!

The accommodation was beautiful and fully equipped, the location was amazing. Lucia is very kind and has lovely children. She even offered us cake from a family celebration. We really enjoyed our stay here – I definitely recommend it. A wonderful place to relax.

Sejla the property manager was very helpful and kind to us. The apartment was spacious and clean. The best part of the apartment is the amazing view, you can see the old bridge from both the patio and the living room. The apartment is right around the corner from the old town and in the ideal location for enjoying Mostar. We would recommend this apartment to anyone!

We loved our stay at this Airbnb. You could not ask for a better location when visiting Mostar as it is right next to the old bridge. The host was very kind and the appartement exceeded our expectations. It was well equipped and the host had stocked the fridge with many fruits. The area is very safe and the view from the windows is sublime! This was the best Airbnb so far on our trip, we loved it!

Truly just a perfect stay. You can’t go wrong with a listing that has hundreds of 5-star reviews. The best part was the incredible VIEW!! Coffee on the balcony every morning was a huge highlight. Other perks: the house was clean, organized, clutter free, and functional. Few people check all the boxes of hosting like Emilio. He met us at the bottom of the steps and carried our suitcases up, arranged transfer from and to the airport (one being at 4:30 am), provided coffee, wine, toast etc. It was so nice to have essentials after arriving to our first stop straight from the USA. The stairs up from old town are tough as others said. We did them once and then took Uber after that (8-13 usd) so figure that into your budget. We did walk down most times, even that can be strenuous. But totally worth it for the view. The stairs from the street to the house are manageable (I’m 6.5 months pregnant so I wasn’t sure based on other reviews). One of our favorite Airbnb stays to date!

Our stay at Selma’s apartment in Mostar was a truly special experience. The apartment is charming, clean, and cozy, with a stunning view overlooking the river and the historic town—it felt like stepping into a painting from another era. Mostar’s timeless beauty was right outside our window, and every moment there felt peaceful and surreal. What made our stay even more memorable was Selma’s father. Despite speaking little English, he welcomed us with warmth, humor, and kindness. He went out of his way to recommend wonderful local restaurants and made us feel completely at home. His hospitality was heartfelt and unforgettable. This wasn’t just a place to sleep—it was a place to connect with the soul of Bosnia. If you’re visiting Mostar and want an authentic, scenic, and heartwarming experience, this apartment is a hidden gem. We’re so grateful for the memories and would return in a heartbeat.

That view is amazing, and you’re really close to everything in old town which is brilliant. AC unit is great in the living room and you can just leave the bedroom door open, would definitely recommend! Lena was really communicative and responsive, and the place was amazing. Thanks again ☺️

We were looked after by Dina's cousin Antea, who was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. She looked out for us and made sure we had everything we needed. The accommodation was well equipped and spotlessly clean and comfortable. The view down to the harbour from the living room window and outside seating area was lovely. It was a five minute walk down to the harbour with its selection of restaurants and a supermarket - a few more minutes walking back up because you have a slope to climb, but that should not deter anyone who is averagely fit. We took a water taxi from Lumbarda harbour right to the edge of pedestrianised Korcula Old Town, which cost 15 euros return and ran every 30 minutes. This was nicer than going by road and not too unreasonable considering that parking anywhere near the town costs 5 euros an hour. The Old Town is beautiful and a more relaxing, less touristy and so more atmospheric version of Dubrovnik with lots of nice art studios.

The apartment was great. We were even able to check in a little early. Apartment was very clean and tidy. We were given many things in the apartment to use and the refrigerator was filled with water, wine and beer. You felt very comfortable. Communication regarding check-out without problems. Very friendly interaction with each other. The apartment is many stairs away from the old town/new port. But we did everything on foot and that was totally okay. The value for money was definitely very good. We didn't regret choosing this apartment for a second and look forward to coming back soon.

Mirna and Marko’s place made me feel right at home. Located in an amazing location with all the amenities I needed. They even offered some local sweet candy! The beds were comfy and the space was just enough to be comfortable for three people. They left very clear instructions and their neighbors were very kind to offer help, as well. The balcony and local guide books were the cherries on top. :) ! Oh, and they offered early check-in and the ability to leave our luggage at the Airbnb after check out until our flight. I definitely recommend.

Iva and Nike’s place in Dubrovnik is nothing short of sensational! It starts with the excellent communication and thoughtful recommendations and ends with a unit that is pristine, convenient and spacious. We are so grateful for our hosts willingness to accommodate an early checkin request and then meet us to assist with our luggage and shopping needs. The apartment is beyond comfortable, modern with classic touches, and we greatly appreciated the washing machine and soothing air conditioning on the warmer days. We found the apartment to be a great refuge from the bustle of Dubrovnik while great restaurants, activities and swimming opportunities are steps away. This is one of the best accommodations we have experienced while traveling and it is highly recommended.

Perfect location. Modern apartment with elevator right next to the old town. Highly secured front gate and building entrance for extra safety. Spacious interior suitable for families and friends.

Dubrovnik is beautiful and so is Luko’s place. The view from the balcony is the highlight. The house is spacious and clean. I especially like the decor it has personal touches, from the wall paintings to the vintage cameras. There is a cafe & supermarket nearby. Although it’s quite a walk to and from the old town but we didn’t mind as we enjoyed our morning and afternoon walks looking at houses & the neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Everything was good. The location is very convenient: close to the bus station, taxi stand, and within walking distance to attractions. A perfect choice for a short stay!

Absolutely loved our stay here! The place was superb in every way — stylish, very spacious, and you could tell that Josipa had considered even the smallest details, and we could find everything (and more) we needed. Josipa also provided some really nice local recommendations. The views from the balcony were also amazing, and a perfect spot for a morning coffee. You can tell there’s been a lot of care and attention to detail put into everything — it all felt really thoughtful and high-quality. The kitchen was fully equipped as well. I’d 100% recommend this spot to anyone, and I’m already looking forward to coming back again!
