Francesca Adventure Cave

Our Cueva Aventura offers three troglodyte accommodations: the Cueva Francesca 1/3 people (accessible to people with reduced mobility), the Cueva Lucia 2/5 people and the Cueva Emilia 4/7 people. The Cueva Francesca (50 m2) consists of a private and furnished patio, a living room (equipped kitchen, hollowed sofa, table, chairs, TV), a large bedroom (1 bed of 180 and 1 bed of 90 or 3 beds of 90, supplement for the 3rd single bed), walk-in shower, sink, toilet. Our salt pool (no allergies, no smell but we thank you for the stability and maintenance of the water not to use sunscreens) lined with its small cuevas to shelter your nap as well as the barbecue and the petanque court are to be shared. The price includes bed linen (which is made on arrival), towels, pool towel, cleaning at the end of the stay and electricity. The bio-climatic feature of the cave naturally air-conditions it. Nearest airport: Granada, and it is necessary to have a vehicle. If the weather is bad: Netflix 😉 The little extras so as not to be caught off guard: dishwashing liquid, sponge, dish towels, fresh water, coffee (pods and coffee and filters), tea, sugar, basic condiments (oil, vinegar, salt, pepper)... and small candies ✨✨✨

Beautifully located a 2 minute walk from the Rio Genil river and Canales Lake and a 10 minute walk or 5 minute drive from the nice mountain village of Guejar Sierra, the house makes a great base for exploring the highly variable local area at all times of year. 30mins drive to the ski resort or Granada city and 1hrs drive to the beach.

Places of interest: The location of the house is very close to Sierra Nevada at 25 km and 18 km from Granada and the Alhambra, the coast at 60 km and Nerja at 100 km. You will love my place because of the views from the terrace and from the living room. The terrace is surrounded by pots to enjoy the tranquility and relaxation. My accommodation is good for couples, adventurers, and families (with children).

Sleep underground—in style! Our cozy cave, hand-dug by our grandparents over 100 years ago, stays at a perfect 22 °C all year: cool in summer, warm in winter. It has a fireplace and fits 7 guests. Located in Bacor, close to the Granada Geopark, Negratín lake, and the Baza and Cazorla mountains. Perfect to unwind, go kayaking, hiking, or simply relax and recharge.

The dream of an Andalusian country house

The house's greatest attraction is its location, with stunning views of the Sierra Nevada National Park and Canales Reservoir. It is very well connected to downtown Granada and the Sierra Nevada ski resort, only half an hour away by car. Pets are allowed but a surcharge of €30 per pet is payable in addition to the reservation. Please check with the hosts.
