Gabi and Guido live their dream of independence here and want to expand the farm sustainably and suitable for grandchildren. For example, the walls and ceiling of the hen house were made from the over 200-year-old plank boards of the main house. Our vacation home in Burrweiler is located on the edge of the Palatinate Forest on the Southern Wine Route in the middle of the chestnut forest on the Teufelsberg, at an altitude of 355 m, below the St. Anna Chapel. On the 1250 m² fenced forest property there is a viewing area with a distant view of the Rhine plain, a patio made of old oak trunks and a picnic bench. You can enjoy nature without direct neighbors and are still in the residential area of Durlach after 200 m. The pedestrian zone of Durlachs can be reached in 5 minutes by car and only 12 minutes by car is Karlsruhe, the 2nd largest city in Baden-Württemberg. A wonderful place to relax and unwind!
