Catia and Andrea's house was perfect! Everything was super clean, there was everything you need to cook, I could wash clothes, the whole time I felt right at home. The location is stunning, with a huge private courtyard with a view of the mountains and the sound of the river. There are walking trails nearby and only 30-60 minutes by car, there are multiple mountains to hike up if that's your thing. I recommend Monte Amaro (difficult) and Monte Mileto (moderate). Above all, Catia and Andrea were two of the nicest hosts I've ever had the pleasure to meet. Catia was extremely communicative before my arrival and when I told her what time I would arrive, her and Andrea suggested to meet them at a bar near the airbnb. Of course I accepted and I was met with beautiful hospitality, they bought me two beers and let me practice my Italian with them. And to top it off, they personally escorted me to show me the airbnb, and they also left some beer and two bottles of wine. Best experience yet!

We recently stayed in Barbara's house, La Casa di Panfilo. We are a family of 3, including a 6.5 month old baby. I would highly recommend this house as a base for discovering Abruzzo. It was very clean, spacious, had everything we needed and overall was very comfortable. Communication with Barbara was excellent. She was very helpful and welcoming and answered all my questions rapidly. The only thing to be aware of is that you do have to drive everywhere as it is just outside Sulmona. Apart from that I would have no hesitation in recommending this house.

One of my best AirBNB experiences, I slept really well in this lovely apartment. The exterior of the building was quaint and had character but the insides were modern, recently renovated and tastefully decorated. Fontecchio is a small but really charming little village and a great base to explore this corner of Abruzzo. The only thing is that public transport is extremely limited in this kind of rural area so you will have to rent a car if you are thinking of staying in Fontecchio. But otherwise, I rarely give out such great reviews on AirBNB - this is definitely an excellent choice, I truly recommend this place based on my great experience. Every time we encountered a minor issue, Fabrizio and Todd looked into it and took care of it at once, you can't ask for more. Thanks so much for a great holiday.

An Impeccable Stay for Relaxation and Smart Working! I had the pleasure of staying in this vacation home and was extremely impressed. If there's one thing that immediately catches the eye, it's the impeccable cleanliness: every corner, from the bedroom to the bathroom, was sparkling and cared for in every detail. The attention and dedication of the managers in maintaining the environments not only welcoming, but also hygienically perfect, is immediately perceived. This is a fundamental aspect for me. As a remote worker, the quality of the internet connection is a top priority, and I can confirm that the Wi-Fi here is excellent thanks to the fiber. The connection was always stable and fast, allowing me to participate in video calls, download large files, and manage my work activities without any hitches. The hospitality was fabulous and I highly recommend Casamè. I'll definitely be back, see you soon.

The house was very comfortable. Spacious and functional. Host available. Pease is lively and very nice, with interesting restaurants, pubs and hiking trails. Worth visiting because it deserves it.

Tucked away just 5 minutes from Sulmona and 7 minutes from the postcard-perfect village of Pacentro, it’s the ideal romantic hideaway. Peaceful, beautifully styled, and surrounded by stunning countryside—it feels like your own slice of Italian heaven. Francesca has thought of everything. The house was spotless and incredibly well stocked—the fridge and pantry were filled with thoughtful touches that made our mornings easy and our evenings cosy. We enjoyed a mix of eating out at local favourites and cooking at home with gorgeous local produce. If you're thinking about booking—don’t hesitate. You’ll fall in love with this place just like we did!

We can't say enough about how beautiful this apartment is. The terrace view of the mountains is amazing. Susanna and Patricio were always responsive, welcoming, and helpful. Highly recommend to anyone.
