Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Bahía Drake

This place was exactly what I had hoped for on our family vacation visiting the Osa Peninsula and Corcovado. We had an amazing time! Our stay was wonderful and we can’t say enough about how much we appreciate the hospitality and experiences that Justin, as well as Yeri and his family helped us to enjoy!

We had an awesome adventure at Casa Roja, it was a beautiful house in an amazing location. We spotted monkeys from the living room most days, we were visited by the Macaws several times during our stay, and the tours of Corcovado & Canos were spectacular. Graciela and staff were extremely friendly, accommodating, and the prepared meals were delicious. It was obvious that our happiness and comfort was their priority. I would highly recommend Casa Roja for a Costa Rican retreat, just be prepared for the heat. Without a steady breeze or airflow via fans, the heat can be brutal for northerners like us.

We loved the place was very nice and clean and overall well described. It is very close to the beach and has good parking space. The kitchen is full, only there is no salt or oil. It has a nice terrace, where to share and eat. In the description it doesn't say, but it only has one AC, and it's in the living room. The pillows on the beds are VERY uncomfortable, it was the only thing we were disgusted.

We had a lovely stay at Shelsy's house. Great communication before we got there and whilst we were there. The house was as described. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Lovely view from the house and a 15 minute walk to a beach and one of the restaurants We walked into town but it was quite hot doing so. Shelsy and her mum were so helpful and accommodating. They allowed us to leave our bags when we went to Corcovado National Park for a night. You will definitely need a 4 x 4 car to drive here from Sierpe and i would recommend one on the other route. Or take the passenger ferry.

Excellent service, location, price, cleanliness and close to everyone

This is the perfect place to stay if you want to leave your car and take the boat to Drake Bay. It was easy to find and check in was a breeze. The beds were very comfortable and great AC. Sara and her husband were very helpful. We parked our car in the gated area on their property for several days while we were at Drake Bay for a small daily fee. They also took us to the boat in the morning and picked us up when we came back. It was pouring rain when we came back and Sara invited me into her home(her and her husband live next-door) to change out of my wet clothing and offered my husband and I some coffee. They are wonderful hosts, very warm and personable. They made our trip to Drake Bay stress-free. I can’t recommend her place enough and next time I come to Sierpe I will once again book her place.

We couldn't have wished for better! We are also very fond of it as if we were in this house forever.. comfortable, cozy, perfect in every detail. I loved having breakfast in the spacious outdoor living room, with birds of every color and sound and the now friendly iguana of all shapes and sizes. I watched the sunset from the river bank and rested peacefully even when it rained at night... we arrived tired and left regenerated and already with nostalgia... everything was very clean, equipped, everything is really perfect! Thanks to Simone for tips on nearby tours, for courtesy and immediacy. And Erica for making us find the house very clean and full of flowers, 🌺 I recommend with the heart to come to this magical place.

We really enjoyed the days at Keyla's. The place is absolutely perfect for a stay in Puerto Jiménez. Slightly secluded on the main road and walking distance to all the important places and restaurants. The washing machine on the property is a blessing, especially after a trip to Corcovado NP. Our original AirBnb didn’t work out- we literally couldn’t get to it because there was a river flowing across the road! We booked R House at the last minute and were so grateful that we were able to check in immediately. The house was so great! Clean, spacious, comfortable, private, nice amenities- we loved our stay! The hosts were super friendly and responsive. If I’m ever in this area again I would definitely stay here again. There is another house on the property available for rent. Very convenient if you are traveling with a huge family or friends.

Casa Lapas was an amazing place. The house is very clean, close to the sea, very complete, easy access and very safe in case you are with🐶. We are very happy with the house and Alexander's kindness, they even left us a welcome detail, we are very grateful and happy, we hope to return.

The house is very nice, well cared for and everything is very tidy. Lea was very friendly and helped me with all my questions. We were a group of 7 and the house is too comfortable and safe.

We loved our stay here. The bird life alone was stunning - scarlet macaws, parakeets, toucans and so many more. The pool was everything we needed and the space of the home was well laid out. The beds were comfortable and the location was quiet and in a friendly neighborhood. There is a little grocery store just a short walk away where we picked up ice cream and anything we forgot from Puerto Jimenez. It is a little drive out of town but such a beautiful retreat, we rarely left.

This casita was the perfect spot to relax and unwind! The pool was awesome, gorgeous views and incredible star gazing (and thunderstorms!). Great recommendations by Rolando for the nearby beach 🏖️ that was splendid and with parrots 🦜 and scarlet macaws. A great spot, highly recommend.

The house is identical to the photos, the pool with its terrace and grill is great for a pleasant time. Very spacious kitchen with basic implements. The hostess is super friendly and attentive to our queries. A place to definitely come back!

We had a great stay at the apartment. Because we had a very early rise to go into Corcovado national park Alberto really helped by letting our car stay on the fenced parking lot and make clear arrangements for the pickup. If you’re looking for a comfortable place in Puerto Jiménez, this is a great option that I recommend!

I stayed about a week at Anna's place and had a great time. It's located right on a tributary to the Sierpe river, with a private dock, and the wildlife viewing was amazing. I saw white-faced monkeys in a tree right outside the window, iguanas, and many interesting birds. The entire upper flat is included, and it's very light and pleasant. It took me a little while to figure out the front door, and the wifi on the website was not accurate, but Anna helped me sort those out very quickly. Also, the neighbors were very friendly and helpful. The refrigerator and freezer were not as cold as normal, but it was adequate for me. I would definitely stay there again.

Great place. You need to have a car to move around, but quick and easy access everywhere. Huge place... Good internet.

We really liked the place. The house is private, safe, comfortable and the location is very good. If you are looking to travel to Corcovado (like us) it is quite central. The beaches are also close by. The only thing is that the place is very hot and the two rooms behind do not get air conditioning. Nothing that can't be fixed by moving the mattresses to the living room😜. It was also very convenient that I had a washing machine and clothesline. Overall we really liked it and look forward to coming back! Thank you.🙏

The cabin very sweet and comfortable with amazing attention to detail. We came over Christmas and new years and there were seasonal decorations, even the dish towel was festive. Functional WiFi, air conditioning, parking right next to the place made it very easy to unpack luggage and convenient. Homely and comfortable, felt like luxury camping. Very welcoming hosts.

What an amazing little gem we felt right at home. It was like staying with some good friends walking around their fruit farm picking avocados and citrus and flowers and fishing down at the river. That’s only a few hundred meters from the house. What an amazing place will definitely be back.
