Fantastic stay in Pedro's home from home, Pedro was very friendly and helpful, and the property was just what we wanted for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, and a great location for us to explore the wonderful north of Portugal. Stayed for about 10 days, and enjoyed every minute. Thank you very much to Pedro and his family.

We had a wonderful stay! The place is extremely quiet and ideal for resting. Everything was pristinely clean and very well organized. The house has a cozy atmosphere and conveys a sense of calm from the first moment. The hosts were very friendly, attentive and always available to help with whatever was needed. I highly recommend and we will definitely return at the next opportunity!

We had a great three-day stay. The place was private, with a spacious bedroom, balcony, and two bathrooms. It was perfect for our dog — we could walk him off-leash in the village. We all enjoyed drinking the cool, fresh water from the mountain fountain! The lake access was a nice bonus. The host was very welcoming and gave great local recommendations. A relaxing and comfortable stay overall! :)

easy to access and responsive host. a well equipped modern kitchen and bathroom, lovely setting with nice views, a short drive into redondela and around 30 to 40 mins to Vigo and surrounding area, and close to other areas, a good place to make day trips from. everything was perfect, however the air can be very warm humid on hot days, we experienced a day or so of over 30 degrees so it took until late in the evening to cool down even with the windows and blind shutters down during the day. something to be aware of during hot weather. but all in all a great place to stay ! if there's no Aircon just drink more wine .

The space visited is truly welcoming, offering what is strictly necessary for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The simplicity of the place and the houses does not compromise the quality of the experience, providing an environment where you feel at home. One of the most notable points is the complete isolation of the site. This feature guarantees an atmosphere of tranquility, ideal for those looking for a refuge away from the noise and hustle and bustle of urban life. Peace and silence are predominant, excellent for walking tours, reading, photographs, etc. In addition, we had the opportunity to interact with the very friendly and kind locals allowing us to participate with the children in their tasks with the animals. In short, this space is an excellent choice for those looking for a simple but welcoming environment. Few words reflect how good our stay at Iris D'Arga was. João and Astrid are lovely hosts who make you feel at home from the start. The house is beautiful and well decorated and equipped, even inspiring. The pool is great for spending great summer afternoons. And Serra D'Arga is magnificent. For those who like trails, biking, waterfalls, fauna, etc., I recommend it 200%. If you don't like any of that, the recommendation is the same because there is no shortage of things to do around Covas. In short, super recommended and we still came away with a great memory of wood from such a wise workshop with João.

Ideal place to relax and contemplate nature.

Our family stay at Casa Da Touça was wonderful! The home was perfect, it had everything we needed for our week stay. The beds were so comfortable. The house itself was very comfortable and spacious. The pool was spotless and well maintained. Our kids swam daily for hours and had so much fun. We also spent every night on the patio watching the sun set across the mountains. Maria is so kind and welcoming, we were greeted with such hospitality and a delicious spread of pastries and breads. We felt like family. She is so passionate about her guests comforts. Maria is very responsive to any questions. She provided a number of guidebooks and pamphlets of places and restaurants to visit close by. Casa Da Touça is a gem and we highly recommend it!!

We had a gorgeous stay at Matriz’s villa and the view from the pool area was absolutely breathtaking - better than the photos. Matriz was a lovely host who did everything he could to ensure we enjoyed the stay. Highly recommend.

We just left the house and we already want to go back. We spent wonderful days in this house. The outdoor space is amazing, with a view of. The house has all the amenities, it is beautiful and very clean. Gabriela was tireless in everything and always ready to clarify any doubts. We were very well received and we were even entitled to a treat from the host. Without a doubt we will return. 🌹☀️🌻🥰

We spent a wonderful and relaxing week in the vacation home. The location and views are indescribably beautiful! Having breakfast on the terrace in the morning with a view of the mountains is priceless. The apartment is furnished to a high standard, the mattress is comfortable, the shower is a dream. The whirlpool relaxed after the hike and we were even allowed to use the large pool alone - swimming with a view of the mountains. Antonio was very attentive and was always available. The only downside: the aforementioned moisture problem. A dehumidifier is running and it doesn't smell musty. We still felt very comfortable and hope to be able to come back.

A week of peace and nature! the house is comfortable with everything you need. The edible garden is a marvel, the "pool" and its newts are an adventure, the paths around the house, the river pool and the lake 5 minutes away... Highly recommended for children who want to disconnect (or reconnect). Amélia and Joa, always available, flexible and above all, excellent people. We hope to return. Thank you!

A Hidden Gem in Nature! We had an unforgettable stay at this stunning farmhouse! The setting is absolutely serene—surrounded by lush greenery and fresh air. The highlight for us was definitely the natural water tank. It felt like our own private spring-fed pool—so refreshing and peaceful, especially in the mornings. The farmhouse itself is beautifully maintained, combining rustic charm with modern comforts. The interiors were cozy and spotless, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals. Waking up to the sound of birds and sipping coffee on the porch while looking out over the landscape was pure magic. Our host was warm, welcoming, and very responsive, offering great local tips and ensuring we had everything we needed. If you’re looking to disconnect from the hustle and reconnect with nature, this place is a dream. We can’t wait to return!

It was us and our two dogs. It's a small but very cozy cabin with good views. If you are going with a dog be aware that there are cats in the area and that it is not fenced, if they are adventurous as mine can end up on the road. Very clean, groomed and rustic. It has a small barbecue and outdoor dining area that we used a lot. Zé and Paula are lovely. I will repeat but no dogs.

If you're looking for rest and some time out of the rush of the city, come here. The house is situated in the countryside near a river with a nice view of the valley. It is super quiet with lots of space and the house is fully equipped for cooking every night and even making fresh orange juice in the morning. Christine is super lovely and even helped with the coal bbq when we wanted to cook out in the sunny afternoon. This was our favourite airbnb in Portugal.
