We had an amazing weekend at this house. It has just the right balance of peaceful and enough to do. We had three kids under the age of four and they had a blast playing in the yard and with the games. Travis is a fantastic host, very responsive and thoughtful. We can’t wait to stay here again.

We loved staying at the Snake River House! Our guests loved it too! Highly recommend to stay here if you want to have a private getaway to enjoy nature!

My family really enjoyed staying here. The place is very clean, and comfortable. We felt right at home! The view was beautiful and it was so close to our fishing destination. The deck was great for stargazing, and hanging out. The Hosts we're very nice, and accommodating.

Absolutely loved our stay at The Gardens in Baker City! John & Heather were amazing hosts — warm, responsive, and truly went above and beyond to make our visit comfortable. John even made a special trip to Bi-Mart to pick up two extra pillows for us — such a thoughtful gesture that really made us feel cared for. The home itself is beautiful, cozy, and welcoming. You can tell a lot of love and attention has gone into creating a peaceful and inviting space. It was the perfect retreat after a day spent with family, and everything we needed was right there. We plan to make this our go-to spot every year when we come to town. Can’t recommend The Gardens highly enough — thank you, John & Heather, for such a wonderful experience!

We drove to Baker city for a work project in progress and booked this home for a couple days. We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful countryside home. The place was spotless, well-maintained, and provided the perfect quiet scenery I was looking for. Thanks so much for sharing your home.

What I appreciated about this home was how well it was set up. We had everything we needed. There was plenty of bedding, towels, soaps, etc. We had lots of places to hang up our clothes with plenty of hangers and hooks in every room. There were a couple of ironing boards with irons and a steamer. This home was extremely comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

We loved our experience here. We chose this for the location and the quirkiness of the tipi. The hosts were amazing. They were friendly and very responsive to our needs. For those staying, bring warm and cool clothes as the temps in this area fluctuate greatly. The local bars and restaurants are great. Love the locals. They were kind and helpful. We would stay here again. I love the art and beads I got from the store on the property. This is a hidden gem and a great experience for families.

I did a last minute reservation for a quick trip to Baker City. It was so convenient and easy to access and it's right in the heart of the downtown.

Jacob’s place had every necessity I need for a perfect stay. Jacob’s himself was was very responsive and checked in if I was in need of anything. Worth the price, also clean and spacious.

A nice little house. Baseboards are dusty, otherwise pretty clear. Seem to be a normal average quiet neighborhood.

This cabin really surprised us. It was just an overnight stay on a long road trip and Baker City simply fit into the schedule, but the cabin wasn’t our typical remote, quiet location. I couldn’t believe how quiet it was inside the cabin, and how enjoyable it was out on the deck, despite being on Main Street. And while the yard was great for the dogs, the beautiful city park was just a block away. Restaurants were within walking distance as well. Very conveniently located. The cabinet itself was beautiful, roomy, and comfortable inside, and the host had fresh baked bread waiting for us! We all had such a great time.

Our stay at the sheep herder's wagon was wonderful! Babette and Dale were such thoughtful hosts--Dale met us at the bottom of the hill to make sure we made it up the driveway safely, and Babette made us breakfast each morning. The wagon was full of thoughtful touches that made it feel very homey and comfortable. There's even a sink with a drain in it (no plumbing, but with a jug of water it makes doing dishes, washing your face, brushing your teeth etc much easier)! The location was stunning--views of the Wallowas and Seven Devils mountains on all sides, and lots of bird and reptile life.

We were driving through and needed a place to stay- great place! We walked downtown for dinner and the place was super clean and quiet. Great for our quick overnight trip!

We had a wonderful stay. The place is awesome. View is amazing and it’s very private. It is an older mobile home which we knew, but was surprised at how clean and homey it is. Very nostalgic which I like. The beds were comfortable too which is a big plus. We went for fishing and the house is literally less than ten minutes from boat launch. We will definitely go back.

Large home that was clean and looked like the pictures. Lea was vey quick at communicating. Very accommodating. We had enough space for the whole family to stay. It’s very quiet and peaceful location. We would stay here again.

Walked into a beautiful home with the smell of fresh bread. It was a great touch, fresh bread was made for us complimentary. Really loved our stay here. Perfect for a work trip.
