“My boyfriend and I knew nothing about Gold Beach (or much of Oregon besides Portland for the matter) and came solely to escape the holiday festivities and unwind in a cool looking yurt. It did not disappoint. The local tips came in handy as we had nothing planned, and we ended up spending an entire day checking out Samuel Boardman State Park (20 mins away-highlight of the trip). It is also about an hour-ish away from the edge of Redwoods National Park. The pictures are an accurate representation of the listening, kitchen was well stocked, incineration toilet was very easy to use, balcony boasts breathtaking views. The only thing worth mentioning was that it seemed like someone lived there when guests weren't there. There were some personal photos on the wall and a lot of little personal things tucked away. It was a bit odd, but had no ill effect on our stay.”

“Don’s place is probably one of my favorite Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in! First thing I’ll say, Don really goes above and beyond to make this the coziest place ever. From the Christmas lights outside, the welcome message on the chalk board, and I will never forget that bed (it is literally the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in and I’ve stayed at some really fancy places). He also has coffee and homemade ginger rosemary squares (and he even includes the recipe!). One of the cutest additions he had was that he has post cards there and even says he’ll stamp and send them to wherever you want to send them to. The bathroom isn’t attached to the unit, but I surprisingly preferred it that way. It’s only a few steps away but you then get to see more of the magic on his property. Whether it’s the cute duck that is in the little creek, the fire pit area, or the fig tree that is about to be producing some figs! Don gave us our privacy, but still popped out to say goodbye as we were about to leave. He is super friendly and we couldn’t thank him enough for a wonderful stay.”

“This cute A frame is so incredibly close to the beach and tucked away in a small and quiet community. There’s a grocery store, cafe and a couple restaurants all within a 5 minute walk from the house. The hosts were great about getting in touch with me quickly and promptly with all questions I had. The house was stocked with extra towels, toilet paper etc. and the hot tub was incredible. I would highly recommend thus place for a trip to the Oregon Coast”
