amazing high-altitude location with stunning views. we saw beautiful sunsets from the backyard, beautiful sunrises from the front veranda, misty weather, and clouds drifting over the vagamon hills. the caretakers were kind and helpful, and the food was decent, though a bit low on salt. they gave us binoculars and we really enjoyed birdwatching and looking at the hills. the night sky looked good on the last night even with clouds and we even spotted some fireflies. there were some insects at night (unsurprising given the rain and the location). didn’t bother us much though, we were actually fascinated by the colourful ones. overall we had a nice relaxing time and would definitely love to visit again :)

I stayed at Aneesh's property for a week and it was an absolute delight! The hospitality was exceptional, with Aneesh and his family going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Aneesh has been super responsive, from the time of booking, to dropping me to the nearest bus stand. The highlight was the incredible home-cooked meal, which added a personal and unforgettable touch to our stay. Highly recommend for a warm and memorable experience!

We had an excellent stay at this beautiful property! The place offers great privacy, making it perfect for a peaceful getaway. The home is thoughtfully designed and true to the pictures — clean, well-maintained, and surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Out of the five bedrooms, two are located on the lower floor and do not have internal access from the main house, so you need to step outside to reach them. This might be a bit inconvenient for elderly guests, especially since there are stairs leading up to the main living area. However, for the rest of us, it added to the charm and resort-like feel of the place. A special shoutout to the hosts for arranging a smooth pickup in their Pajero, which added a nice touch to our arrival. The food prepared during our stay was absolutely delicious and felt homemade — a real highlight of the trip! Overall, it was a memorable and relaxing experience. Would definitely recommend this place for families or groups looking for a serene escape!

Sujit is a great host, he was immediate in response and very helpful. The help around the house are also respectful and kind. Location is amazing, with beautiful views. The house was clean and there were no bugs, even though we were in a lush green location, which we greatly appreciated having gone with a toddler and parents. It was a bit tricky to reach the place as google showed different route every time. But Sujit helped out with letting us know how to navigate through google. It would be helpful to talk to him before starting the trip. All in all it was a great trip! And an amazing stay!

We stayed at Sunila's place for 1 day. She is a great host. The place was very clean and room was big and well-maintained. She cooked delicious food. Overall our stay was very good and we loved it!

A perfect getaway into nature. We stayed for 4 nights, and although it was a bit rainy, the experience was far from boring. The place is private, nestled deep in nature, and ideal if you're looking to simply unwind. Arjuna, our host, was thoughtful and concerned we might feel cooped up, but honestly, we ended up not wanting to leave. A peaceful, grounding stay that we already miss.

It's been a lovely one week stay at Aida Villa. The room was exactly as in the photos and with full privacy. A large balcony with a sit out corner to relax and see the wonderful sunrise and the mist filled mountains. The view is good and especially if it rains the view is much better and misty. There is only one restaurant that delivers food here, though the villa is a few metres walking distance from Anachal town where a variety of eateries are available. A five-star stay totally!

Unforgettable experience! No words to describe the hospitality! The stay exceeded all our expectations. The host family is THE best. If you are a nature lover and enjoys human relationships, look no where! The 10 acres farm has good walking trail, small fish pond, coconut tree climbing gear, couple of swings, fresh fruits, hens, rabbits, all varieties of spice plantations, lots of birds, many kinds of trees. The host was super kind to offer everything available on the farm. Food cooked by Seeniya was so delicious! I am not writing about the exact experiences to save the surprise element! I fell little sick one afternoon and I can never forget the way Mr. Soji has helped in getting me to the nearest best hospital in his own car, stayed with me for 4 hours at the hospital and got me back home after I got better! Praising God for the opportunity to meet such a wonderful family! If you are planning to buy some spices, they offer at the best price, don't waste your money elsewhere!
