Lake house holiday rentals in Balaton

We can only say here that the place is absolutely amazing. Located directly on Lake Balaton, now nice and quiet in April and the house or the equipment is very good. A dream if you can sit in the hot tub or on the sofa in not so warm weather and look out on the Lake Balaton through the large panoramic windows. All in all, this was a fantastic stay for us Hungarian fans here in April.

We had a super nice, pleasant holiday in this beautiful villa. The house is very well equipped, has a nice terrace and a beautiful garden with many trees, which give the necessary cooling during the hot summer days. (the airconditioners in the bedrooms are also a great added value) The quiet beach is around the corner (approx. 200m) and with the wagon you can easily take all your beach equipment with you. On foot or by bike you will be in the center at the bakery, small supermarket or restaurant. Highly recommended to discover the Balaton and this beautiful region.

We had a wonderful time in Gerard and Minka's apartment with 2 adults, 3 children and a small dog! Everything was as described, clean and very idyllic. We felt really comfortable from the start. The house is in a quiet location right next to a beautiful grove, so peace and relaxation are ensured. The great swimming lake is a few minutes' walk away and we spent a lot of time there as it has many locations and great play opportunities. In 15 minutes you can reach Kiskunhalas by car, where there are many shopping opportunities and you can buy almost everything. Nearby are also many picturesque villages and great cities such as Szeged, where you can do a lot with children. (Zoo, slide park, etc.) The contact with the two was great! They were very helpful, friendly, quick to respond and gave us extra tips for activities! (Bagac Cultural Festival.) Thank you for everything!

Great Lake Balaton accommodation with a nice view and private beach. The yard was pleasantly shaded, and you could sunbathe on the dock and on the beach. The place is well-equipped and they were able to provide us with a crib and a high chair.

This was our third time at this beautiful house and we had a fantastic stay as always. Our highlights were: the garden and private lake access for us, the fenced garden for our dog and the high-speed WiFi for my teenage kids.

A beautiful spot where you can swim in the lake! it was very very clean and modern inside and the hospitality was incredible as they helped us with some transportation during our stay!

We had a super great stay and enjoyed it very much. Silveszter and his girlfriend are super nice,his parents are also super cute. We felt very welcome and will be happy to come back again. All are always easily accessible for tips regarding restaurant, etc. The location directly on the lake is super nice and quiet. The lake is almost for yourself. Despite the central fact that you can reach everything you need within walking distance, the beach and shops bars, etc. The garden is well maintained and equipped with llo loungers to relax. Thank you for the lovely stay with you. We as a patchwork family with 5 children (1-7 years) enjoyed a lot. Our review: + we were very nicely received by David's mom and everything was explained + Super clean + Dishwasher and great kitchen equipment + Reliable and good internet + A blessing for us as a family was the washing machine + Very child-friendly furnishings with toys for the very large garden and games as well as painting things in the house + The path to the beach was a 5-minute walk. + Shopping was on site + Value is just great - the doors are a little older and a little hard to open for our smaller children - Some neighbors regularly walked through the garden to take a shortcut, which has bothered us personally, as we assumed a private garden

Although it was not the accommodation shown in the photos, we were very satisfied. I would say that our accommodation was even more spacious. There were also many opportunities for children to enjoy themselves directly in the garden. Thank you very much and we wish you all the best!

We were very satisfied, there were many possibilities to do something during our long weekend (for distant excursions better by car, but also connection to train/bus). The surroundings, the view and the swimming opportunities are phenomenal. A great experience! We will be happy to come back!

The place is awesome, it is about 5min by car to the Balaton's shore. The neighbourhood is quiet with some nice runnig and bike paths around. Air conditioning and swimming pool are crucial to survive high temperatures. The hosts are very kind and helpful, moreover english speaking. One minor point is the kitchen size. Cooking facility is there but with very limited throughput. Also washing machine is not available what may be important for families planning some longer stay. Overall, we are very satisfied with the stay!

We had a great time at the place, the kids were able to play in the big garden, and the Venice Coast is a few minutes walk away. The upstairs and downstairs in the house can work completely separate, we had two families downstairs and we had a separate small suite with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom in the same way. The host, Edina, was very kind and helpful in everything. I highly recommend this place to others. Thank you!

We (two families with kids) were lucky to stay three nights at Sylvia's nice and beautiful home near Bratislava. The house is large with several bed rooms, it is well equipped and in a good shape. As we have been there in summer, we were able to fully enjoy the well-kept garden with the quite large pool. Further, the host supported us with Information and always answered to any questions we had. Thank you, Sylvia for letting us stay in your nice home!

Beautiful house with all things you need for your perfect holidays with friends and family. Nice beds, pool, hot tube, spacious backyard. Its definitely worth to visit. There are many toys for kids in the house, so they won't be bored)

The accommodation is in a beautiful place with its own beach. The house was very well equipped, everything you might need. The landlord is very nice and communicative. Special thanks for being dog-friendly, our dog enjoyed the stay as much as we did! :)
