Guesthouse in southern Uppsala

The house is located in Uppsala Näs, Vreta Västra, 13 km southwest of Central Uppsala, & neighboring Hammarskogs Nature Reserve. Bus connection is available (107) about 30 minutes to Uppsala C, about 40 minutes by bicycle. Fully-equipped kitchen & bathroom. (no washing machine, but can be arranged by agreement) Separate dining room, work room, bedroom. Normally, the accommodation is rented to a maximum of 2 people. For stays/accommodation for a longer period, a special agreement can be made for monthly rent & operating costs. The house can then be rented with room for 3 people.

Guesthouse "the barn"

Welcome to our newly built guest house "Ladan." A home in a quiet, rural setting just east of Uppsala. With us, you live 13 km from Uppsala C and 7 km from the E4, which takes you further towards Arlanda or Stockholm. 1000 meters from the accommodation, a bus goes directly to Uppsala C and during some summer days, you can take a steam train to the city with the museum railway Lennakatten. The guest house is located on the outskirts of Gunsta community, close to nature. In the area, there is the nice Stiernhielms Krog & Livs, where you can eat well or shop a little.

Accommodation in Uppsala-Näs

Get close to nature and enjoy the tranquility of Uppsala-Näs. We have our own jetty for swimming and a private barbecue area right by the lake. The forest is just outside the door, so it is good for those who like long walks. The lake also offers good fishing & ice skating in the winter for those interested. The nearest grocery stores, restaurants, cafés & pharmacies are about 10 minutes away by car. Uppsala city center can be reached in 20 minutes by car. We have bus connections (Bus 107) 800 meters from here that go directly into Uppsala in 30 minutes.

Old, cozy cottage in the countryside, yet close to everything

Next to Hjälstaviken's nature reserve is this cottage, which is a wing building to Husby-Sjutolft's vicarage. Parts of the house are probably from the 1700s. The house is 60 square meters with two rooms, kitchen, hall and bathroom with shower. You live next door to the host family, but have your own "backside" with a balcony down the afternoon and evening sun and views of the agricultural landscape. In the area, there are nice walking paths and trails around Hjälstaviken, at Ekolsund Castle and in the forests around. Grocery store is within 10 km.

Lake cottage Summer Edition - with amazing views

Cabin with wonderful views directly adjacent to beautiful nature. Fresh interior and large terraces with barbecue grill. Sofa bed 140 cm and a bed 90 cm. Fridge, freezer, hotplates and microwave. Modern composting toilet and shower in a separate building reserved for the guest. 150 meters to the shoreline with piers and 3 km to Wiks Castle with a large child-friendly swimming area. Nice trails and the possibility of fishing, rowing, canoeing. An additional house for 2-5 people is available on the property for rent.

Small cozy guest house on a leafy plot. 400 meters from the cottage is Lake Mälaren. Here you can swim at a jetty or small beach in the summer and ice skate in the winter. Close to a beautiful nature reserve with barbecue areas and nice forest. The cottage has a room and bathroom. It has a small, but fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. There is a bed (140 cm) as well as a folding guest bed (70 cm). In the bathroom, there is a washing machine, shower and toilet. Sheets and towels included.

Full equipped smaller kitchen and a bathroom with shower, washing machine,comfortable bed, armchair, lots of wardrobes. You live by yourself and you don’t share anything. Gamla Uppsala is 4 km north of Uppsala city, nice, quiet and very close to the nature. The highway E4 is close and you can go by bus, bike or walk to city, it’s 100m to the busstop.

The apartment is 85 sqm (915sqf). Two bedrooms and one big living room which includes the kitchen. There are two apartments in the house. This apartment is on the upper floor. Both are used as AirBnB apartments. Seperate entrances. Both have their own kitchen with everything necessary like coffee machine, waterboiler, fridge and dishwasher. Bathroom with shower and toilet. Washing machine, dryer and flatiron are in the laundry room. Hi speed Wifi and TV with several channels. Built 2015.

Cosy cottage, 150m to private jetty. Option to hire the floating sauna with roof terrace and lounge area for an additional fee. Short trips on the lake can also be arranged (weather dependent). Activities available by request: fishing, paddle board, water skiing, kayaking, sailing. The cottage is set in Rävsta nature reserve, 4km from historic town of Sigtuna, easily reached by bicycle or short walk. The airport is conveniently only 20 mins and Stockholm City, 40 mins.

Lillstugan at Solkulla Matskog

Antique and recycled items give these small rooms a cozy feel. It is close to our residential house, so in summer the courtyard is a paradise that is shared with the hosts. Private seating area in the back. Bathrooms & sauna in the building next door are shared with Glamping guests. Access to the Forest Garden and nice seating areas are available. Small-scale food crafts, art, rural cafes and crafts can also be found here in Fjärdhundraland if you have a car.

Cottage in beautiful nature

Charming, newly built house in the countryside in quiet area at Lake Mälaren. Distance: Sigtuna (4 km footpath, 8 km by car). 17 km from Arlanda airport, 40 km to Stockholm city. 3 km to public transport (bus). The cottage is located close to the main building and has its own balcony with lake views. Beautiful surroundings and close to the lake with bathing area about 100 m . On the farm there is a dog and during summertime sheep.

Kronogården's one room and kitchen

I hjärtat av byn Brunnsta hittar du detta fridfulla och lugna boende. Här bor du lantligt men ändå nära till omkringliggande städer som Stockholm och Uppsala och Arlanda flygplats. Det finns kommunikationer med buss 1 km från boendet och fjärrtåg och pendeltåg 8 km från boendet. Boendet är främst för 2-3 personer men en extrasäng går att ställa in. Observera att det är ett gemensamt sovrum.
