The accommodation is very comfortable, with a beautiful view of the port of Torsken and the mountains. It is located right next to a grocery store and a very good restaurant is about 500 meters away. From the accommodation, we did the Midtertinden hike and nearby, we did Sukkertoppen, Middagstind and Smatindan. There are also many other hikes a little further away.

Hilde‘s home is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed in. It’s elegant, cozy, warm, beautifully decorated, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make yourself feel completely at home. There are baskets of sweaters so you can sit warmly on the balcony and watch the water and the light change. She has thought of every detail you might want to be able to relax fully and enjoy this unusual island. She even has binoculars for you to use to watch the birds and any sea animals that might come by. She was helpful, kind and timely in every interaction I had with her. I could stay here happy for a month and perhaps I will another time!

Within ~1 year, this place got 20 five-star reviews. The only reason it hasn't crossed 50 is: Sortland is less popular than mainland Lofoten. The place is not only handled with, but also designed with utmost care. Originally built in 1934, every corner of it carries a meaning that not even an unwatchful guest can ignore. There is family heritage, and there is just the right amount of it. That's where the comfort begins. Living room is smaller than its photos. But with modern furniture & a smart TV, you never run out of indulgence. Kitchen & barbecue hut are well-equipped with utensils and tools for all types of cooking. Bedrooms are comfy, and just right for the cosy cuddles. The grassy, lush outside with a private beach is kept free of bugs by hosts. You can't get enough of the hot tub under starry/green sky! The best part is the proactive hosts who promply fulfill all unmet needs. The house, with all its warmth, keeps luring you. A tough fight against luscious Lofoten!

Alex is the perfect host! The house is fantastic and the surroundings are beautiful! We immediately felt comfortable and were able to leave everyday life behind us wonderfully. It's all so uncomplicated and relaxed! The communication was great and nothing was missing. Since Alex also offers excursions, he is the perfect choice for an unforgettable holiday on the Vesterålen. With his kindness, courteous and open manner, humor and stories about the country and people, he made the stay even more refined. Thank you for everything! Stay the way you are! We stayed 2 nights in Hans' residence. It is a super cozy cabin with a beautiful view. The jacuzzi is also really wonderful! It is quietly located and the ideal base for a trip in the Vesterålen. We will definitely come back here when we are in the region again!

I had booked three nights and extended it by two more nights The apartment is as in the photos, easy to find, the check-in instructions as well as for TV and Wi-Fi tip top prepared and understandable. In the kitchen it has everything you need, the bed is super comfy and everything is in great condition. The apartment is in the basement of the house where the hosts live, but you still have your privacy. It is located a few kilometers outside of Bodo center, but by car this is no problem at all and the nearest supermarket is also within walking distance. Marianne and Stein respond quickly if you need anything. I can recommend staying with them without reservation.

Lovely stay in this cabin in Sifjord. It's next to a grocery store that can save you if you are missing something. The cabin was looking exactly like in the pictures. We were 5 people and had all a good experience during our stay. The only downside was that the barbecue mentioned on the page was missing

Quiet and lovely location. We appreciated the book on local walks and took an evening walk around the little village. We climbed Hesten for a spectacular view of Mt. Segla and it was a worthwhile hike. The house had everything — perfect.

Beautiful place right out in the ocean gap, Lofotveggen next! Incredible views outside and inside the cabin! We saw the sea eagle, otter, fox and many birds, we fished and bathed on the beautiful Bø beach right next to it. There is a lot to experience nearby. The cabin had everything we needed and the beds were good! Thor was a helpful host! Only good things to say about the cabin, the place and him!

Great place, spotless clean and everything is brand new ! Some disadvantages are that place is really small(bedrooms has no cabinets as there is no space for them) and kitchen is also limited. You can see it from the pictures, though. The upper floor has no door as well. So there are 2 separate bedrooms only. All the rest is great, communication is fast and helpful, view and locations are amazing, hot tub was used every day! Amazing =)

We felt right at home and absolutely nothing was missing to have a nice time in the cabin. Svein and Siv are very warm hosts who make you feel welcome. We really would have liked to have stayed longer!

A super nice place to stay in a totally quiet and secluded area. Perfect for getting down. A clear recommendation for a relaxing holiday. Super equipped house. There remained nothing to be desired!

This cabin is THE best place I’ve stayed in! It had all things necessary for a comfortable living, it took us half an hour to figure out stuff but once we got the hang of it, it was just magical. Birger and Martin are excellent hosts, the collection they have at this place is unmatched and something which impressed me a lot. 11/10 recommended!

My fiance and I spent the most incredible week in Lofoten at Telma’s cabin during the polar night! Grunnforfjord is absolutely spectacular in the winter season and we completely fell in love with the scenery, the wildlife and the northern lights displays which we had on pretty much every evening of our stay. The cabin has everything you could need and the wood burner kept us warm throughout. The separate annexe has some of the best views you could wake up to and we even had an otter walk past the window. We will certainly be coming back to Lofoten in the spring/summer months and if you are looking for a peaceful retreat this is the best we have experienced so far!

Lovely cozy cottage. Nice accommodation that was easy to get in touch with. The cottage was just as we expected and in a nice location. The cottage had everything you need.
