Cabin holiday rentals in Ballstad

This was the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed and I’ve stayed in some beautiful spots. We were there for the midnight sun but I imagine northern lights would be spectacular. The setting is absolutely stunning and the space is spotless with a clean and modern design. My only wish is that we had stayed longer. The hosts could not have been friendlier or more responsive when we had questions. Located close enough to restaurants and shops (15-20 minutes) in case you need something, but far enough away to feel like you are truly in nature. Everything was easy and perfect. Can’t wait to go back.

Amazing cabin with gorgeous views. If there’s an Airbnb you have to splurge on, it’s this. This unit is situated amongst a cluster of cabins in a remote area facing the sea and fjords (nearest grocery store ~20mins drive away). The cabins are well spaced out so each unit feels private. This unit is right by the sea, but there is a massive rock formation in front of the cabin, blocking ~1/2 the panoramic window (we loved the rock as you could climb up for great views and a picnic; but if you’re looking for uninterrupted panaromic views, choose another unit) The cabin is luxuriously furnished and extremely cozy. Some issues we faced: one of the main doors was broken and we couldn’t lock it for the first night. This was rectified the next day. We also faced a blackout. While the team was accommodating and provided us with a solution, communication was slow at times, especially after our stay when we were discussing compensation. Fortunately, we did find an acceptable resolution.

Great place, spotless clean and everything is brand new ! Some disadvantages are that place is really small(bedrooms has no cabinets as there is no space for them) and kitchen is also limited. You can see it from the pictures, though. The upper floor has no door as well. So there are 2 separate bedrooms only. All the rest is great, communication is fast and helpful, view and locations are amazing, hot tub was used every day! Amazing =)

Absolute 5 Start Place. The accommodation is just beautiful, a great Place to relax. It is equiped with everything you can imagine and need. Saune and Whirlpool top everything off. Besides the Hosts are super friendly and easy to talk to and normally respond within 10-30 minutes.

The accommodation was nice, modern and equipped with everything you need. The communication with Henning was great and very courteous! We were informed and educated about everything. The accommodation is still in the construction area with some construction sites, but that was completely fine. The midnight sun shone directly on our hot tub:) 15 minutes from Henningsvær and the nearest shopping.

We were allowed to spend 8 days in Kathrine's beautiful house. The location, tranquility and view are unique. The whole house is very clean and maintained. You immediately feel comfortable, which is why a rainy day is no problem. The kitchen equipment leaves nothing to be desired, so you can easily cater for yourself. The coffee machine and the Sodastream are particularly worth mentioning here. The beds are very comfortable and the Stressless armchairs in the living room invite you to relax. The whirlpool on the terrace with the great view is phenomenal. Kathrine responds to queries within a short time and also proactively passes on information. She informed us about the Artic Run, where we had the opportunity to meet her, which we were very pleased about. We totally enjoyed the days in Kathrine and Glenn's house and hope that we can come back in the winter.

Fantastic stay with stunning surroundings – highly recommended! This is a great place to stay if you’re visiting Lofoten and want to be in the heart of it all. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and central. Everything was pristine and in perfect condition—no issues at all. My only suggestion would be regarding the curtains: currently there are three separate panels with four gaps that let in light. During the midnight sun, this allows sunlight to enter the room at night. Adding Velcro to secure them or switching to one or two blackout panels would help. I personally prefer a pitch-dark room for sleeping. Aside from that, everything was excellent—wonderful host, beautiful accommodation, and an overall fantastic experience. I’ll definitely return.

Vegard's house is very nice and very quiet. We stayed there for 2 nights. The house was clean. The check-in is easy with a key box. Vegard responds fairly quickly. The highlight was the whirlpool we were able to enjoy. I'll be recommending.

We spent 4 nights in Runes Robuer. You feel right at home. The apartment is beautiful, very cozy, very clean and well equipped. The location is perfect for exploring the Lofoten Islands, as the distances are not too far. In the village, there are two smaller but well-stocked supermarkets, where you can actually get everything you need. Otherwise, Leknes is only 15 minutes away, a small town with Vinmonopolet and all other shopping facilities. In Stamsund, there is a lot of work being done on the road, so the path to the robots is not tarred. You may hear the work a little, but usually you are on the road all day anyway. It therefore did not bother us in any way. Communication with Rune was perfect, very warm and fast. He wants you to feel comfortable and everything to fit. Despite the bad weather, we enjoyed the time in Runes Robuer and can recommend this apartment with a clear conscience.

This house really made us happy! I almost lack the words to describe the beauty of the view. In fact, you could sit all day in the living room and enjoy the magnificent natural spectacle. From the living room we saw sea eagles, snow bunnies and even an Hermitage. Our wish - and the real reason of our trip - to see aurora lights was fulfilled on the first evening, on the second evening we were offered the very large aurora spectacle, what a gift! In the folder provided we found excursion tips, among other things for a fishing trip from Reine. We had an unforgettable day on the TrioII and brought home 8kg of fresh, self-fished cod. The house is very well equipped with plenty of cozy seating in the living room, the kitchen is complete and we particularly liked the wood stove. An extraordinary place!

Beautiful place right out in the ocean gap, Lofotveggen next! Incredible views outside and inside the cabin! We saw the sea eagle, otter, fox and many birds, we fished and bathed on the beautiful Bø beach right next to it. There is a lot to experience nearby. The cabin had everything we needed and the beds were good! Thor was a helpful host! Only good things to say about the cabin, the place and him!

Great cosy place, small kitchen but everything you might need :) lovely hikes nearby and fun pool table and ping pong in the shed next to the house.

A great place to stay if you want to explore Lofoten. Excellent host! Cannot recommend it enough!

We loved staying in the adorable cabin! The location was perfect, and we loved the way the whole place was decorated. We all wanted to move in!

We had a wonderful stay - the rorbuer was pristine and the views were unbelievable. Upon arriving we actually had someone else in the unit we were supposed to be in but Marta responded right away and let us know we had been upgraded to a unit right next door. The check in was seamless otherwise. Parking is literally right next to the rorbuer. The kitchen was well equipped to the point where we cooked a couple meals there. The mattresses were comfortable and there were blackout curtains for the long summer days. A delicious restaurant is right across the road and a grocery store about 2 km away. Very peaceful stay, would highly recommend.

This cabin is THE best place I’ve stayed in! It had all things necessary for a comfortable living, it took us half an hour to figure out stuff but once we got the hang of it, it was just magical. Birger and Martin are excellent hosts, the collection they have at this place is unmatched and something which impressed me a lot. 11/10 recommended!

A very nice and idyllic fishing hut with a great view of the water. Everything you needed was available Even if something went wrong in the German translation: Hot water & WiFi is available ;)

Judith, her home and Storemolla Island are heaven on earth. We were welcomed by Judith, and we quickly became friends. She is an incredibly friendly and delightful woman--generous, kind, and attentive to her guests' needs. The cottage is a comfortable, well-equipped house with spectacular views out of every window. The island of Storemolla has several well-marked trails, a lovely road walk, a beautiful beach, and picturesque villages on either end of the road. We connected with a local boat skipper and travelled to Trollsford and fished for cod. Yes, it's remote, but you won't be bored. And Judith will keep you laughing, and if you're fortunate, she'll treat you to her waffles or cake. Judith literally may have saved my husband's life. She's an angel of mercy.

Cecílie showed a lot of availability and was easy to communicate with. The house was comfortable and the beds were wonderful. It was a wonderful stay! I recommend it.

This is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places we’ve ever stayed. The location is so calm, and the views onto the lake never got old. We were here in May and loved watching the light change around the lake and mountains in the distance late into the night. It’s stunning - and such a relaxing place to stay with our family. The house has everything you could need and Tanja is a perfect host. It’s also an excellent position to explore the south, and worth the extra bit of driving for such a peaceful place to stay. I hope we get the chance to come back to the Lofoten Islands, and if we do we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

this place was just wow....panoramic view of the eidsfjord, spotless and cosy interior (the photos do not do it justice) and lots of thoughtful touches around the cabin. We loved fishing in the fjord in the evening. Great stay!
