The cabin is 120 years old and totally renovated and has all modern facilities and yet the historical charm. There is a new bathroom and a new large kitchen with dishwasher. You only have to walk a few meters along the quay and you will find a good restaurant that is open during the summer season. Right outside the door you will find beautiful hiking terrain waiting...

The popular Hauklandstranda is about 15 minutes from the rudder arch. Playing city, airport and short distance freeway to the rudder arch. One of the very few original fishermen's cabins still around. It is more than 150 years old, but has been re-done and is in very good condition. The timber walls offers genuine ambience, yet the cabin also offers conveniences such as a sauna, bathroom and modern kitchen. The rorbu is most suitable for a couple or a family with 2 children.
