Cabin holiday rentals in Ballstad

This was the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed and I’ve stayed in some beautiful spots. We were there for the midnight sun but I imagine northern lights would be spectacular. The setting is absolutely stunning and the space is spotless with a clean and modern design. My only wish is that we had stayed longer. The hosts could not have been friendlier or more responsive when we had questions. Located close enough to restaurants and shops (15-20 minutes) in case you need something, but far enough away to feel like you are truly in nature. Everything was easy and perfect. Can’t wait to go back.

Great place, spotless clean and everything is brand new ! Some disadvantages are that place is really small(bedrooms has no cabinets as there is no space for them) and kitchen is also limited. You can see it from the pictures, though. The upper floor has no door as well. So there are 2 separate bedrooms only. All the rest is great, communication is fast and helpful, view and locations are amazing, hot tub was used every day! Amazing =)

Elisabeth is a perfect host. She is always very fast answering to our questions. We experienced an initial internet provider problem, she got it fixed with the company within minutes while we were doing a first exploration trip at Skrova. She kept us in the loop, role model communication. Also the roabu location close to the center, but last in the street with its own pontoon pier was perfectly suiting our needs (our kajak required such slipping capability). In short: the perfect temporary home with a great host, thank you!

The accommodation was nice, modern and equipped with everything you need. The communication with Henning was great and very courteous! We were informed and educated about everything. The accommodation is still in the construction area with some construction sites, but that was completely fine. The midnight sun shone directly on our hot tub:) 15 minutes from Henningsvær and the nearest shopping.

Fantastic stay with stunning surroundings – highly recommended! This is a great place to stay if you’re visiting Lofoten and want to be in the heart of it all. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and central. Everything was pristine and in perfect condition—no issues at all. My only suggestion would be regarding the curtains: currently there are three separate panels with four gaps that let in light. During the midnight sun, this allows sunlight to enter the room at night. Adding Velcro to secure them or switching to one or two blackout panels would help. I personally prefer a pitch-dark room for sleeping. Aside from that, everything was excellent—wonderful host, beautiful accommodation, and an overall fantastic experience. I’ll definitely return.

Vegard's house is very nice and very quiet. We stayed there for 2 nights. The house was clean. The check-in is easy with a key box. Vegard responds fairly quickly. The highlight was the whirlpool we were able to enjoy. I'll be recommending.

Great cabin with amazing view. Very well maintained. Perfect place to stay in Lofoten. Can't get better than this.

This was our first time in Lofoten. Everything exceeded our expectations. The house was absolutely gorgeous. We wish we could have spent more time in the chairs, looking out the windows, but unfortunately had too much to do. We did tons of driving, but it was a great location for us.

This house really made us happy! I almost lack the words to describe the beauty of the view. In fact, you could sit all day in the living room and enjoy the magnificent natural spectacle. From the living room we saw sea eagles, snow bunnies and even an Hermitage. Our wish - and the real reason of our trip - to see aurora lights was fulfilled on the first evening, on the second evening we were offered the very large aurora spectacle, what a gift! In the folder provided we found excursion tips, among other things for a fishing trip from Reine. We had an unforgettable day on the TrioII and brought home 8kg of fresh, self-fished cod. The house is very well equipped with plenty of cozy seating in the living room, the kitchen is complete and we particularly liked the wood stove. An extraordinary place!

A great place to stay if you want to explore Lofoten. Excellent host! Cannot recommend it enough!

We loved staying in the adorable cabin! The location was perfect, and we loved the way the whole place was decorated. We all wanted to move in!

We enjoyed very much our stay: the view, the bar, the restaurant and its geographic location (perfect to explore the Lofotens!). If you come with a dog be aware that you will have to pay 250kr for the cleaning. I recommend the place ! :)

We had an excellent time at the cabin (family of four). We stayed for three nights in June and we loved it. The location is fantastic and the cabin itself was very comfortable and perfectly clean, with all utensils and equipment we needed. Raimon was very responsive and shared great instructions to ensure a smooth stay. It is a perfect spot to explore Reine and Å. We strongly recommend a hike up Nonstinden in Ballstad, which is doable (after the stairway, keep on going until you reach the top — the view is splendid)!

What perfect little house on a stunning location. The cabin is very cosy and all we whished for. Ginsoya is very beautifull and quiet en from the cabin you have amazing view on the mountains and the sea. It was hard to leave!

We had a great time. The accommodation was very nice and comfortable, very well equipped and clean. The view from floor to ceiling windows is great!

It’s a comfortable and relaxing house with beautiful surrounding. Location is good, right in between Svolvaer and Reine. Its beauty is definitely part of our Lofoten highlight. Thanks again for hosting us!

We spent 4 nights in Runes Robuer. You feel right at home. The apartment is beautiful, very cozy, very clean and well equipped. The location is perfect for exploring the Lofoten Islands, as the distances are not too far. In the village, there are two smaller but well-stocked supermarkets, where you can actually get everything you need. Otherwise, Leknes is only 15 minutes away, a small town with Vinmonopolet and all other shopping facilities. In Stamsund, there is a lot of work being done on the road, so the path to the robots is not tarred. You may hear the work a little, but usually you are on the road all day anyway. It therefore did not bother us in any way. Communication with Rune was perfect, very warm and fast. He wants you to feel comfortable and everything to fit. Despite the bad weather, we enjoyed the time in Runes Robuer and can recommend this apartment with a clear conscience.

Beautiful place right out in the ocean gap, Lofotveggen next! Incredible views outside and inside the cabin! We saw the sea eagle, otter, fox and many birds, we fished and bathed on the beautiful Bø beach right next to it. There is a lot to experience nearby. The cabin had everything we needed and the beds were good! Thor was a helpful host! Only good things to say about the cabin, the place and him!

A very nice and idyllic fishing hut with a great view of the water. Everything you needed was available Even if something went wrong in the German translation: Hot water & WiFi is available ;)

Marta’s place was absolutely amazing. We are already trying to plan another trip back. We had everything we needed, the soaps provided were quality from Copenhagen, the decor was lovely, and it was very clean. The parking was great, but the view was the best part..especially when the sun was shining and the water looked even more clear. I highly recommend staying in this area if you prefer more privacy! The stay at Steffy's went wonderfully well, the views are incredible and the amenities are modern. The bedding is very comfortable and the games available were much appreciated. I would highly recommend it!
