Cherry Tree Cottage - Cosy Cottage 19th Century

TeriRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We stayed for two nights in this beautiful cottage. Cosy, warm and pet friendly. The cottage comes equipped with absolutely everything you might need and then some. I would definitely consider coming back for a longer time on a writing retreat. Our only regret is that we didn't read the guest information folder that the hosts prepared from cover to cover on day one. It contains a wealth of information about the cottage, things to do in the surrounding area, and that fantastic bread recipe! Thanks again Siobhan for such a memorable stay.

Architect's family beach house at Dooey, Dogs ok

KatherineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful stay at Denise’s lovely house. Extremely comfortable and cosy, and fantastic views. The house was spotless and had everything we needed to settle in straight away. The surrounding area is beautiful with lots of things to do, and Denise supplied some great recommendations — particularly a surf lesson with Surf’s Up on Dooey beach. We hope to be back again!

The Poets Rest...where comfort and tradition meet.

CalvinRating, 5 stars3 days ago
4 of us stayed for 2 nights with our dog. The cottage was so cosy and peaceful. The gardens were beautiful with different areas to sit and take in the view. Inside the cottage was beautiful with a nice log burning stove which we sat round at night time. Peter was so friendly and checked in with us to see if we needed anything. We will definitely be staying here again.

Inishowen Artists' Retreat

SuzanneRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Magical, creative, beautiful space and hosts! Sinead had Irish bread, homemade jam, and Irish butter waiting for us. But it was the first view of the inside of the cottage that captured our hearts. The cottage has a private entrance near the garden that Andy attends to with care. When we put down our bags we felt transported! The magnificent fireplace is festooned with colorful flags that add a touch of whimsy and delight to the well appointed space. Sinead’s art decorates the walls and sets the mood full of greens, blues and whites. Every single item in the home was lovingly selected and placed with an artist’s eye. Plenty of space with two charming bedrooms and a new bathroom. We had fires in the stove. Lots of blankets and books for rainy days. The kitchen is open and a perfect design. The walls are white - hand limed by the hosts! Sinead gave us art lessons in her bright large studio. Yes, the cottage is a dream!

Cabin in Donegal views of Irish style stonewall

AgataRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Great stay. If you are looking for a place where you can watch hares and cows in the morning, you have come to the right place. In addition, the stone walls and ruins of the building make the imagination start working. The atmosphere of the place allows you to go back in time and you can imagine how centuries before you someone else sat on a stone bench built into the wall and admired the sunset. Perfect location for someone who needs to meet themselves again

80 St Finian’s Park

JennieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The house is modernised with the highest quality finishes. It is comfortable and spotlessly clean. It is has everything you could need for a very enjoyable stay. It is uncluttered and still cosy. We loved our stay and hope to be back. It would be the perfect base for exploring the Inishowen peninsula. It’s in an ideal location being only minutes walk from the town while still be very quiet and peaceful.
