Maple Cottage was originally a needleworkers cottage and still has many traditional features. The burner in the lounge is ornamental. The cottage is situated in the picturesque village of Hathersage. The area is popular for walking, cycling and climbing and the cottage has views of Stanage Edge. The village has a train station, regular bus service, shops pubs, restaurants and a stunning open air swimming pool. Chatsworth House, Bakewell and Castleton are all within easy travelling distance.

A quirky self-catering shepherd's hut in the Peak District close to the village of Hathersage with stunning views towards Stanage Edge. This shepherd's hut, situated on a working farm, sleeps two people in a king size bed with separate shower room. Kitchen facilities with toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge, 2-ring hob. The cottage is situated in a conservation area of Smalldale in the rolling hills of Bradwell, Hope Valley, Peak District National Park. The village and surrounding areas are breathtaking. Castleton is a 30 minute walk away or 5 minute car drive where you will find the infamous Mam Tor and Great Ridge. We guarantee a lot of R and R!
