I feel blessed to have stayed with Jyoti & Shyam at Kharwa Fort - this is an amazing Indian experience - not only real history but the most amazing food, conversation and hospitality all wrapped up in a magical historical fort. As a solo woman traveller, I felt not only safe but also had lots of time for meaningful conversation and interaction, and also time to rest, explore and more. Visits to Pushkar and the farm were lovely and much appreciated, and also interactions with local village women - particularly Laxhmi and Koushal - memories I will treasure. As someone that’s been to India 12 times, I not only highly recommend Kharwa Fort Home Stay here - I can say this will be your best authentic Indian experience. I loved every minute. I had a beautiful stay at this stunning property near Ajmer. The surroundings were tranquil, and the ambiance was simply delightful. The accommodations were immaculate, tastefully decorated, and provided the perfect blend of comfort and elegance. The highlight of my stay was the host, who was truly amazing and incredibly friendly. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail made me feel right at home. They provided excellent local recommendations, which enhanced my experience even further. Sudhirji's place felt like a safe haven after a long day of travel. He was a very welcoming host and the custom special touches he added to the space made us feel right at home. He was also truly accommodating of our two differently abled dogs and understood their needs. The neighbourhood is friendly, with lots of green spaces and truly outstanding residential architecture. We would definitely go back again!
