Holiday rentals with a patio in Banks County

Great location, and close to lakeside park. We enjoyed sitting on the dock and activities on the lake, which we did from the park about 1 mile away. Our schedule changed and Alexandra willingly accommodated us - very nice! We will be back.

A very spacious apartment located on a quiet street. It was easy to get to and conveniently located for our needs. The bed was comfortable with firm-ish mattress and a couple options on pillows. All in all, a comfortable stay.

We had a lovely, weeklong stay. The host was very helpful, accommodating, and responsive. The home was gorgeous, exactly as pictured. The amenities were superb and perfect for working from home (in the business center). I wish we had gotten more time to use them. The only few things to note, the neighbors are very loud. We could hear them each night, late at night arguing, stomping around, playing music. A previous guest had ruined their laundry door, so that caused a bit of a stir navigating to do laundry. When we arrived, the cleaners hadn’t done a complete job, but we assumed this is because we requested to check in two hours sooner than expected, of which, the host was very accommodating. He provided us with a partial refund for the inconvenience. I would totally stay here again and definitely recommend it for traveling families.

This is our second stay here in the last year and We LOVE staying at Christian & Chelsea’s place. It’s our favorite AirBnB in the area! Everything is great and the location is perfect. The mall is down an exit. Walmart is about 6 mins away and so are a few restaurants. Chelsea is a great host and everything we needed was all there for us. Highly recommend!

I’ve been coming to Helen for twenty years. In that time, I have stayed in many places - some good, some great, some I make a note of not staying at again. Usually I am there just a few days, but at the end of a long school year (I am a teacher), I settled on a whole week. I saw Russ’ place and was familiar with the area. I know it’s ideally-situated when it comes to Helen to Hardman (I am a runner), as well as to the town of Helen itself. Close enough, but also far enough away to not feel touristy. So I tried somewhere new. I am so glad I did. My husband works remotely; so we needed reliable WiFi. Prior to arriving, I reached out to confirm we’d be okay, and Russ was responsive. And quickly. When we arrived, instructions were easy to follow - and checking in was a breeze. The place had everything we needed - and if we wondered about anything else, Russ was there to help. From recommendations to just checking in to see how we were, I knew we found somewhere special. Grateful to Russ!

Five Stars! I had a wonderful stay at Kimberly’s place. The location was perfect—quiet, private, and in a peaceful area that made it easy to relax. The home itself was beautifully decorated and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It was clean, cozy, and felt very welcoming. I would absolutely stay here again if I’m ever back in the area. Highly recommend!

Clean and quiet for work trips

Jess was an absolutely fantastic and amazing host. She gave us suggestions on things for our dog who has bad anxiety and events that took place while we were there. We came for a family reunion and got everything we needed to wind down on their peaceful property. Walter was a gem too. We automatically looked for him when we left and came back. He’s an addition adorable fur host as well. We will definitely rebook this property each time we are in the surrounding areas. You definitely will find this a rare jewel in the area!! 🫶🫶🫶🫶

The "House in Demorest" was great. Very convenient if you're visiting Piedmont University. The house itself is very peaceful, tucked into the trees. While we didn't stay long this trip, the house had all the amenities you might need for a longer stay. It was very clean and uncluttered. Clear instructions and not a list of "chores to complete" upon checkout. We'll be back in this area again and this place will be on my list of places to stay. 5 stars!

Clean and comfortable for our one night stay passing through. Was stocked with everything we needed just in case. Nice place to stay.

I couldn't be more pleased with my first AirBnB stay. The place was clean, inviting, and well-stocked. I wasn't expecting spices, dog toys, dog bowls, dog cot, etc. The fully fenced in yard, lake access, available kayaks, and privacy are the only things I wanted and this place sure supplied! the hot tub, outdoor shower, and firepit were huge bonuses. Also, met and talked with the neighbor who is super friendly 😉 I stayed alone the first half with my dogs and got my peace in. The second half a couple girl friends joined and we thoroughly enjoyed paddling out the this little island and throwing rocks, trying to fish, etc. Enjoying using the coloring supplies, games, and grill as well! It did storm most of the week, but even that was enjoyable! 10/10 experience for us all.

Hardystone lake house is stunning both inside and out! Our family of six (4 boys , 2 parents ) had plenty of space and there was something for everyone. We loved that there were enough kayaks for all of us to use and the putting green was a big hit. It also had beautiful views from both decks and the double decker dock! This home was extremely clean, The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything you need if you prefer to cook like we do. We hope to be back! Tiny flying bugs would surround the doors at night so be quick opening/closing doors!

Enjoyed our stay. We were in town with family for a wedding and Don's place was the perfect place for our family. Home was exceptionally clean. Loved spending time out on the patio. Location was perfect, close to anywhere we needed to go. The garage was a real nice bonus. Don communicated very well. Would definitely recommend Don's place.

Absolutely loved our stay at Chris’s beautifully decorated home! The space is stylish, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged—every detail adds to a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. It was the perfect getaway for some quiet time and true relaxation. Chris was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, making everything smooth and stress-free. I can’t recommend this place enough—definitely will be back!

The place is beautiful and the Host are so easy to deal with. It is very clean and new but made us feel very welcome. They gave us access to a grill and a firepit which made the trip extra special. One of my friends is in her 70's and did find the path to the door way a bit tricky but still manageable and she is just 5 foot tall so she had to push herself onto the bed but once there she was so grateful to be staying in such a wonderful place. We were able to watch the deer in the morning and the fireflies at night. Thank you so much!

My 6th stay at Bobbe’s Farmhouse and the best yet! Every time has been wonderful and this one was extra special. Beautiful hiking, massive thunder storms, and even got to watch the fireflies dance. The flowers were all in full bloom. Perfection :)

Great little weekend getaway for our family of 4 including 2 small children. So many amenities and lots to do. The view from the patio with the porch swing was amazing!

This is a great place to stay if you are looking to explore Helen and it’s beautiful downtown area without the hassle of finding parking and driving in and out of the pedestrian-heavy area. Beautiful townhouse-style condo with clean rooms and lots of space. Highly recommend if looking to stay in Helen for a getaway where you want to stay out of the car.

Very nice condo in an excellent location/close to town. We walked to all the shops and restaurants etc. Leonard was extremely responsive with whatever we needed. Just a note : the pics on Airbnb show hardwood type flooring in the common areas but it is actually carpeted. It wasn’t a problem for us but just something to note if that’s important to you . We had a great stay !

The rental was very clean and free of clutter and unnecessary things. Beds were very comfy. Perfect location. There was I bit of a damp smell when we first arrived but seemed to be less noticable later in the stay. There were a few things missing that the listing said would be there but when I contacted Cyle about it he was very proactive on fixing it. He was prompt and very kind. I would recommend this rental!

So glad I chose this condo! Was a last minute booking as we were driving home. I wish we could’ve stayed longer. This place is very clean, in a quiet location and very accommodating. Short walk to Main Street.
