Ehemaliges Fischerhaus über zwei Etagen mit privatem Innenhof. Architektonische Highlights im marokkanischen Stil. Gelegen im schönen, alten Ortskern von Salema. Der ausgezeichnete Strand ist weniger als eine Gehminute entfernt. Vom Eingang aus gelangt man in den offenen Küchen-, Wohn- und Essbereich mit Blick in den oasenhaften Innenhof, der mit hochwertigen Steinarbeiten ansprechend gestaltet ist. Ein kleiner dekorativer Pool (nicht zum Schwimmen) rundet das behagliche Ambiente ab. Mit einem Buch in der Hand und den Füßen im kalten Wasserbecken lässt es sich hier an heißen Sommertagen herrlich entspannen und in aller Ruhe Kraft tanken. Das Bad mit Doppeldusche und Dusch-WC befindet sich im Erdgeschoss des Hauses. Die beiden offenen Schlafräume im Obergeschoss sind ausgestattet mit jeweils einem Queensize-Bett unter der gemütlichen Dachschräge. Jeder Schlafraum hat direkten Zugang zur Sonnenterasse mit Loungemöbeln. Herrliche Nachtruhe, man hört den Wind in den Palmen und entfernt die Brandung. Die Gäste haben Zugang zu allen Bereichen, da sie das gesamte Haus mieten. Für alle Fragen sind wir erreichbar (Mail und Telefon) und haben Leute vor Ort, die das Haus betreuen und behilflich sein können. Im Umkreis von 100 Metern befinden sich Restaurants, Bars, Shops, Verleih von Kajaks und Stand Up Paddling und ein Fischverkauf direkt nach Fang. Salema ist ein charmantes Fischerdorf, vom Strand aus werden Ausflüge mit dem Boot angeboten. Im Hinterland lockt der Gebirgszug Monchique mit heilenden Quellen. Weitere Aktivitäten sind Reiten, Yoga, diverse Wasser- und Freizeitparks, Wassersport wie Segeln, Jetski oder Surfen. Am Cabo de Sao Vincente lassen sich wunderbare Sonnenuntergänge erleben.

Off-grid cabin, experience Peace and Freedom.

Experience offgrid living, 2km down a bumpy track, a car is preferable although walking and Ubers are possible, buses are rare..6km from south coast and 15 from west to many stunning beaches ! 15km to Lagos for nightlife. My house is at other end of land where I’m available if needed, but cabin is private and has own entrance. everything is totally offgrid- water from a well and solar… kitchen and fridge with all you need… there is a caravan also for extra guests as my other listing.

We absolutely fell in love with Portha Velha. From the moment we stepped inside, we felt completely at home. The charming house is spacious and full of thoughtful touches. Set in a traditional village with a serene atmosphere, it’s the perfect escape from the busy world. There’s one little store and a cozy coffee place nearby that features traditional live music every Friday! The fully equipped kitchen made cooking a joy, and the orange juicer quickly became one of my favorite parts of the stay. The attic space is perfect for yoga or meditation as it can get quite warm upstairs. Despite that, the house stays pleasantly cool thanks to its thick brick walls. Portha Velha is also perfectly located for discovering the beautiful Algarve region—whether you’re heading to the coast, exploring local villages, or enjoying the countryside, everything is within easy reach. Nicki, the co-host, was fantastic—very responsive and easy to reach.

We had a wonderful stay at Amirs guest house. Amir is the friendliest host you could wish for and you can tell that he really cares about the well-being of his guests. When we arrived he greeted us with a cold beer on the private terrace of our room, we felt right at home. He also gave us lots of good tips on the surrounding area, beaches and restaurants, even showed us a map. The rich breakfast was prepared and served with attention to detail and was a perfect way to start the day. But not only is Amir a great host, his home is also a real gem. The house and garden are beautiful and a perfect place. All in all, truly one of the best Airbnb stays, you should definitely stay here too when you're in the area.

Thank you Joaquim and Ines for the amazing stay in your clean and cosy cottage. The hosts were very welcoming and warm. Even though it’s on their land, we had a lot of privacy. It’s not easy to find but the instructions are very clear. If you are looking for a quiet getaway near the most beautiful beaches and towns, i would recommend this for sure!

The place had everything you needed, was peaceful and quiet, and Janete was a wonderful host. She made us feel very welcome and set out things for our toddler, and even left a little gift basket. Claire’s home is cozy and comfortable, with everything you need to make you feel at home. The garden is absolutely amazing, a little corner of paradise. We also enjoyed the little bar and shop that is only 3 minutes walk from the house. The closest beach is only 8 minutes drive, Lagos 25 minuets, etc. We recommend parking the car down the street as it’s not so easy to drive in and out if you don’t have experience with driving on narrow streets that go up and down :p.
