Our family enjoyed Villa Irene, an impressive place with its large footprint, beautiful ocean view, and well-appointed rooms. Bedrooms with their own bathrooms was great. We appreciated the 2 marked steps leading to the bedroom where our elderly family member slept. She was reminded to look as she stepped. The airy nature of the Villa and the fans allowed for nice breezes. However, we spent the hottest part of the day at the beach, which offered more refreshing breezes at that time. We enjoyed the infinity pool in the morning or after returning from afternoon outings. The large kitchen was well stocked and the overhead fans in the kitchen, livingroom, and bedrooms and on the veranda were nice to have as well. (We didn't want to use bedroom ACs other than at bedtime.) Patricia the housekeeper was great! Favorite place: the veranda for reading or talking while seated around a large wood table. Some house construction was happening nearby but we were not bothered by it.

Cool place and very stylish. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy it. The pool was nice. We'll come back for again

Incredible villa in an amazing location walkable to beautiful Gibbes Bay and Mullins Beach. Plenty of space for three generations of our family to celebrate a big birthday. The gardens are mature and so lovely. We saw monkeys and humming birds regularly from the deck. Clean and tidy, we wanted for nothing. The pool was delightful and very well maintained. Communication with Sarah was absolutely brilliant, and her recommendations top drawer! Can’t fault our stay at all- I sincerely hope we will be back again soon, thank you. *****

Helen’s place was absolutely beautiful and serene—exactly what we needed for a peaceful getaway. The lush gardens were stunning, the pool was perfect for cooling off, and to top it all off, we had playful monkeys hanging out nearby, which made the experience even more special. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing stay in Barbados.

_The villa is conveniently situated in the northern part of the island, featuring 24-hour security, shuttle ride or free parking by the beach, free towels and chairs, big community pool and other amenities. Our group of eight, including four children, had an excellent time despite challenging weather conditions. The management team was proactive, placing sandbags and providing extra flashlights to cope with Hurricane Beryl. They were always just a text or call away, assisting with pool timer adjustments, sending technicians for minor repairs, and rearranging cleaning schedules due to the hurricane. Moreover, we had no issues with the internet, kitchen appliances & utensils, towels, or insects which we have faced with other rentals in the past. Finally one area for improvement is mosquito control; while they provided measures for protection, the mosquitoes were many and persistent. Fantastic place to stay. There are no sandy beaches; night clubs; or tiki bars at this place: it is just you and nature. Patrick the grounds manager is both extremely helpful for any needs and at the same time extremely respectful of privacy. The 'guard dogs' are adorable and friendly - I miss my morning greetings from Shadow already. The monkeys are cute and keep a healthy distance. The nightly hermit crab gatherings are unlike anything I've seen before. The gardens are beautiful and the private cliffside seating and private cove are quite literally breathtaking. I was extremely nervous about the lack of air conditioning, but the 2nd floor balcony (off which 2 of the rooms sit) is probably the breeziest spot in all of Barbados. Bring your own food, transport, entertainment, etc, and you're all set. Will be back in a heartbeat.

We stayed here after reading reviews about bugs and crabs and it being dirty. honestly was a little worried. We got there and realized it was because this is an open air home for the living spaces. We kept all food closed and away. The birds will just fly in and out and steal bread and fruit so I wouldn't leave the doors open if you are not paying attention. Ok now to the house, nothing short of amazing. The views and hearing the waves at all times was great. We traveled with a toddler and she slept with no issues. There are multiple refrigerators so groceries shopping and storing food was no issue. The location was quite and surrounded by very nice properties and people. There are a few walking distance places to eat and such, but if heading into Oistins its easier to drive. We will definitely be looking to book again in the future.

Corey’s place is the perfect spot for a vacation in Barbados. Its central location makes it easy to explore both the north and south of the island. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and relatively close to supermarkets and some restaurants which was very convenient. Everything matched the listing, and the social areas were perfect for spending time with family or a group—there were more than 10 of us, and it never felt crowded. I would definitely stay here again!

We had the best stay at Mariam’s. The house is beautiful - the photos really don’t do it justice. Mariam went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, and was so quick to communicate. The location was great - close to everything we needed whilst still feeling private and quiet. Sometimes by the pool we could hear the sounds of the neighbourhood, but we were never disturbed. We did enjoy the company of a very friendly cat, who would sometimes visit while we were by the pool. Amanda and Desmond were on hand and were brilliant. One evening the gas bottle of the BBQ ran out during cooking. However Mariam had this rectified by the time we even awoke the next morning. We’ll definitely be back - it’s a beautiful house. My recent stay was of fantastic! The property boasts a breathtaking view that left me in awe every morning. The location couldn't have been more convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The rooms provided the perfect retreat after a day of adventure, only thing is the double bed are pretty small. I was particularly impressed by the attention to detail in maintaining the property's cleanliness. What truly made my stay memorable was the hospitality of the host. They went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, and their recommendations for local attractions and dining options were spot on. While the beach near the property was rocky, I didn't mind exploring other nearby beaches, which offered pristine sands and crystal-clear waters. Overall, I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with top-notch accommodation

We loved our stay at this grand old home. It’s a vintage beach property with more space than our group of 8 needed. Along with the amenities listed, there is also 2 outdoor showers and changing rooms and a bathroom. We opened all of the downstairs windows and doors and had a wonderful breeze that kept the house comfortable. We felt very safe at the property and enjoyed walking to nearby restaurants and bars. We had a few issues but Melissa resolved them quickly. The home is not updated but we loved the vintage charm more than a modern property.

We had a fabulous 2 week stay at La Canoa. With 6 of us there was plenty of space and we loved hanging out in the garden and on the veranda. We especially enjoyed the wildlife in the garden and the direct beach access. The kitchen was great, fully equipped and clean. Chris was a great host and swiftly responded to any questions we had. Having never visited Barbados before we could not have asked for more. La Cabane, the closest restaurant to La Canoa, serves the best food in a perfect location. (walking distance) We loved being by the harbour and rum distillery, there was something quite unique about this location. I would recommend hiring a car if you are staying here although we used the buses, we also explored further afield to the East and South coast Thank you Chris for providing such a wonderful place to stay in Barbados.

Such a stunning place - loved waking up to the sounds of the birds and the incredible view over the gully. Pool is fab. Plenty of space for everyone. Well equipped for self catering. You do need a car but AG is well located to visit most of the island. Gutted to leave - would highly recommend a stay!

Our family enjoyed the home, it was a peaceful neighborhood. There was some music at the local shop in the evenings but it was quiet by 9. Safe feeling. Everything we needed as far as a place to stay, nice rooms and loved the sharable spaces in the home.

Wonderful house with a beautiful garden. This was a perfect place for our larger group, given that there are plenty of common areas to hang out. Despite the heat, the house is bright and airy, with lots of ventilation and a pool to keep cool. The house has good proximity to beaches on the east and west coasts, as well as good proximity to Bridgetown and things to visit. The only thing we would say is that the beaches nearby seemed more suited for surfing or had lots of algae in the water (which is probably seasonal), which meant that we usually went to beaches a bit further north with the car. We were also very grateful for the welcome pack we received. Overall, we had a great stay and we definitely recommend this house for families looking to visit Barbados!

We have stayed at "Windswept" twice prior to this visit. Mandy has always been a very good communicator regarding our bookings. The villa is spacious with a beautiful private garden with a plunge-pool. All the bedrooms have airconditioning which is an essential as the nights in Barbados are very warm. It's a small thing but there was a decent supply of hangers in every wardrobe! Sugar Hill is a short drive from Holetown with its shops and restaurants. Once again we had a fantastic holiday and would certainly want to stay here again if we return to Barbados.

What can I say? This house is beautiful!!! You can see and hear the ocean while lounging at the pool. The views from the patio on the lookout are incredible. The house itself is great! Comfortable furniture and all the amenities you need. Alexis was a great host!! Any questions I had she answered quickly. Spacious house!! South point is a short walk and did not disappoint!! This home had the most amazing views! I loved lying in the hammock and taking in the fresh ocean air and gorgeous views. My boys and I stayed here for a surf contest and it was perfect for us. Each boy had their own room and bathroom. The dining, kitchen and living area were very spacious. This is the perfect house for large groups. It even had multiple refrigerators. The owners were very communicative and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Joanna’s villa. The location felt very safe and peaceful, just a 5-minute walk to Mullins Beach. The villa was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed – including a lovely pool we used often. All bedrooms had air conditioning and modern en suite bathrooms with great showers and plenty of hot water. Large bathtubs are also available, ideal for families with young children. We loved the disco lights in the lounge/bar area. We mostly cooked at home to enjoy the villa, though there are plenty of affordable dining options in surrounding areas, if Mullins restaurants feel a bit pricey. Buses to Speightstown and Holetown run regularly, and while we rented a car, it’s not essential. Joanna was a responsive and helpful host with great local tips. Highly recommend! We had such a lovely stay at Joanna’s villa – it truly felt like a home away from home.

Very nice place, and huge! Secluded, quiet, and very responsive host. There is a trail behind on the coast line you can see people but they are very far away. Pool is amazing, covered porch is great for those who want shade and pool gets sun all day. Pool has 3 areas: a shallow sloping area good for kids, a medium (chest level) area and, a deep area. Don't expect to have much around close by, car is almost a must, closest store is a very limited local store with minimal supplies (5-10 min away), major grocery store (15-20 min). You may see a few millipedes walking around remember your in the islands version of the sticks, and the windows don't have screens so you may get some flies but keep things clean and you will have no issues. Make sure to get some bottled water when getting supplies, host had bunch for us on arrival. He was honest and said that the water should be potable but just in case he recommended drinking bottled, we decided not to chance it.

WOW what a wonderful 2 weeks we have spent in this amazing place. The house is surrounded by lush greenery. We saw families of monkeys and butterflies through the garden daily. Claudia the house keeper looked after us during our stay, she couldn’t do enough for us. Andrew was always available as and when we needed and he’s banana bread is superb. Thank you all for making our stay so special 🙂

Everything was great, house is very spacious. Definetly would book again. Mike and Pam responded immediately and they gave us later check out which was a bonus.
