The space was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully prepared with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to soft linens. We especially enjoyed the outdoor area — ideal for morning coffee and unwinding after a day of exploring the island. Corey was a fantastic host — welcoming, responsive, and full of great local recommendations. His hospitality truly made the experience feel personal and memorable. Lex’s place had it all. There is a beautiful beach right outside the back door, it’s walkable to a grocery store, several cafes and bars and the Friday fish fry. We also could grab busses right outside the house to get to Bridgetown for more beaches and restaurants. Walking around felt safe (well lit) but of course be aware of your surroundings and the cars wiz by so be aware of where the sidewalks are. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. We loved how there were lots of towels and pillows! The only thing to prepare for is that the second bedroom gets traffic noise so maybe bring earplugs if you’re sleeping in that room.

The list of amazing things I could say about Leah and Sherry and their beautiful home is endless. They treated us like family and helped us in unimaginable ways, from arranging transportation and tours, to recommending activities and restaurants. They even left us some surprise fruit to enjoy, which we greatly appreciated. (The mangos were the best we ever tasted!) Their home was perfect for us and had everything we needed. It was peaceful, clean and comfortable. Also, the location could not be beat. The beach, supermarket, local restaurants and bus stop are all within walking distance. Overall, our experience exceeded all expectations and we highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone seeking comfort, convenience and outstanding hospitality. It provided a perfect base for a month on the west coast

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Paolo was extremely helpful and friendly with great recommendations. The house is on a cute gated street across the street from a great surfing spot. Walking distance to Miami Beach which is a pleasant beach with a ton of shade trees. Oistins local fishing village is close enough to walk. For more lively area a quick jaunt to Rockley beach by car. For us a quiet walk to the surf and beach was ideal. Paolo must be one of the friendliest hosts we’ve had! The house was spacious and serene. Kitchen had all the necessary items. Can’t wait to return!

Salty toes is unbelievable!, and it's a must visit! From the cleanliness of the house itself to the sandy beach coming right up to the outdoor seating area, simply amazing! It's one of those places that's quiet and off the main street but it has everything on its doorstep! lovely bars, restaurants, food courts, lovely boardwalks etc it has it all.. the house was spotless, fully stocked with everything you could imagine. Big cooker, big fridge freezer/ washing/ dryer facilities. Salty toes has ample space for families. Two big seating areas inside for eating at, and then the outdoor area just has to be seen! Amazing! All 3 bedrooms were huge, crisp clean linen and all beds with memory foam mattresses! We'll definitely be back to Salty Toes, home away from home. I'd be giving this place 20/10! We had a great stay at Tropical Escape. Rodney’s apartment is located in a nice residential area within a very short walk to Heywoods beach and also to Speightstown and its attractions. The apartment is very well equipped, with a powerful shower, ceiling fans , fast internet and a comfortable living area. Air conditioner is available in the bedroom at an extra cost, but we found we didn’t need it as fans are provided. The kitchen has all you need to prepare a meal- includes a blender, coffee maker, gas cooker and a decent sized fridge. Rodney is a great host- responsive, proactive and knowledgeable He made us feel very welcome. The next time we’re looking for somewhere to stay in the area we’ll definitely book again.

Ken’s place met our expectations, - every room was perfectly laid out with all necessities required for convenience and comfort, We were relaxed and did not lack in any way for household utilities/utensils to improve our vacation. Thank you Ken for your hospitality.

Vuemont is secluded and peaceful with good amenities and really responsive staff. (We didn't want for anything, but Alicia checked in regularly to make sure we had all we needed and sent us holiday/restaurant tips which was lovely, making us feel more like family friends than random guests.) The apartment was really spacious and light and had everything we needed to relax, cook for ourselves and enjoy our holiday. The complex is really secure with 24hr staff, it is a little remote which makes lovely for a quiet restful time, but a short drive away from St Peters and attractions like the nature reserve and Haymans Market. Our favourite part was the lovely deck area that overlooked the pool and gardens. A great place to spend the evening with a rum cocktail! I would highly recommend and definitely come again. It could easily become a home from home......

A beautiful and quiet house conveniently located a few minutes from the beach and the conference center

We had the best stay at Mariam’s. The house is beautiful - the photos really don’t do it justice. Mariam went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, and was so quick to communicate. The location was great - close to everything we needed whilst still feeling private and quiet. Sometimes by the pool we could hear the sounds of the neighbourhood, but we were never disturbed. We did enjoy the company of a very friendly cat, who would sometimes visit while we were by the pool. Amanda and Desmond were on hand and were brilliant. One evening the gas bottle of the BBQ ran out during cooking. However Mariam had this rectified by the time we even awoke the next morning. We’ll definitely be back - it’s a beautiful house. Thank you!

We had a lovely week at Lorraine's place. We really liked the neighbourhood. Dover beach is a short walk away. We also got the bus to Miami beach which isn't far. You don't need a car unless you want to explore the island. We hired a car for two days so we could visit other places. Otherwise we stayed local. The restaurant recommendations were helpful and we had a lovely meal at the Italian place Lorraine suggested. It's easy to walk to St. Lawrence Gap where there are lots of bars and restaurants. We all loved the pool which is a good size and the kids loved the daily visits from the monkeys. The bungalow is spacious and has everything you need. Would highly recommend.

Quiet, beautiful spot on the south end of the island. Great, private view of the beach and mangroves from sprawling gardens. Occasional monkey visitors. Practical kitchen with needed equipment. Good ac in bedrooms. Giant sliding door for the main room. Strong WiFi in office and most of house and immediate deck (occasionally unstable but think that’s island issue). 15 min to grocery store. Most higher end restaurants and resort beaches on northwest coast 30 min+. Short walk down to beach - rough not swimmable but beautiful. Host was the most helpful we’ve ever had with Airbnb. Helped with all kinds of activity / reservations (for a nominal fee).

Definitely a gem to stay at. I was able to have the entire backyard and space for myself! I didn’t get a chance to use the pool but i felt like i was in a luxury hotel. Corey was very attentive and called to ensure everything was okay!! Would recommend !!!!

Had a wonderful stay at Dreams!! From the minute you walk in and see the stunning panoramic view of the ocean, you will be left with a smile on your face for the duration of your stay!! Simply breathtaking!! The place is as described, very clean and comfortable. Access to the pool which also has a stunning view, and steps away from your own beach. Carl was very friendly and helpful in every way possible, giving suggestions on where to eat and must see places to visit, he even gave us a little cooler to take with us on our adventures. Very cool guy !! I would recommend to rent a car to get around and you have your own parking space which is very convenient. Animal Flower Cave is a must see, and only a 15 minute ride away and The Fish Pot is an excellent restaurant just a 3 minute ride up the street. This was our first time to Barbados and nothing but great things to say about it ! It's not a question of if I'll be coming back to Dreams...it's a question of When!!

We (Gf and I), had a blast in BGI and staying at Anique’s crib felt like home. Clutter free, clean bathroom with towels, bath gel and shampoo. Living room was squeaky clean with decent furniture and large TV, except no AC in the living room but the large ceiling fan did the magic. The rooms were very clean and tons of extra bedding sheets and towels in the closet. We will return to Anique’s crib because it hidden in a beauty spot of BGI and very very safe with restaurant/super market and urgent care clinic literally 3 mins walk.

We had a wonderful months stay in Elizabeth's cottage. We felt at home as soon as we stepped inside. The kitchen was very well equipped. Super comfy beds and lovely bed linen and plenty of towels. It was extremely clean and we loved the outside space. The locals were so friendly and we always felt safe. Elizabeth's Dad, Tommy was near if needed and Heather did a wonderful job cleaning each week. Had some great chats ! Missing the sunshine and having breakfast on the veranda. You can see the sea from the cottage and be swimming in 5 minutes! There is a great fish market at the end of the road where the fish is so fresh. We visited last year and stayed in a hotel but staying in a cottage for us was so much more enjoyable. We did hire a car as we wanted to explore the island but it's not a necessity. Thank you, Elizabeth, would love to return in the future.

We had an absolutely amazing stay in April 2025! This place is truly a gem, featuring a beautiful pool and a private, cozy jetty beach. You can lay down on your bed and watch and smell the ocean through the floor-to-ceiling open (if you wish) window. It had everything we could possibly need — we didn’t have to ask for anything extra. One standout detail (especially for travelers who love to stay organized): there was plenty of storage space for clothes and an enormous number of hangers — truly a dream for any woman on vacation! The location is also unbeatable — right in the heart of the island, surrounded by great bars and restaurants. You don’t need to drive anywhere (but if yiu do they have free parking spot, bus and taxis just next to the place); you can just walk and enjoy everything the area has to offer. The host was incredibly responsive, helpful, and made us feel so welcome. Honestly, it’s hard to believe a place like this exists! We are so grateful for this experience!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Dario's Airbnb in Speightstown! The property was clean and comfortable—exactly as pictured, if not better. Located on a quiet, colourful street only a short walk to the beach, and with plenty of restaurants near by this Airbnb was ideal. The property was very well maintained with a beautiful garden in the front, and mango tree in the back offering plenty of space to relax in peace in the sun or shade. The outdoor shower and drying lines were much appreciated on return from the beach. Dario was friendly and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed for a smooth and enjoyable stay. The Banks and snacks upon arrival were a lovely bonus treat! We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, memorable getaway!

It is said, “there is no place like home,” and I felt that while being in a home away from home. I met friends and what I feel to be family now. I felt safe while having great sleep at night, (especially on the nights when it rained.)This is because my every step was “well lit” if I ventured outside to do something as simple as taking out my trash. I was really amazed by my every step being “lit.” I met a friend and we would literally “run the streets” at night. I stayed for twenty-eight days this year and am looking forward to staying longer next January. I have “mastered” this west side of Barbados when the south coast used to be my favorite. And I shall reach out to Zachary when I am on my way back to my second home. Blessings!

I stayed there for seven days, and never had a complaint. I love that it has air conditioner which makes it all the more appealing. I would recommend this air bnb to anyone. The neighborhood was safe and no one bothered me while I was there. I would definitely use it again.

Our stay at Overlook was truly enjoyable. The home was beautiful and fully equipped for a relaxing stay. June and Paul were wonderful hosts. The highlights of the property for us were the large pool, the private beach and the expansive garden. The garden was peaceful and lush, offering a sense of tranquility both day and night. There are so many inviting spots to unwind, we often found ourselves in the pool and also the charming gazebo, enjoying the evening breeze and listening to the waves crash below. Perched atop a cliff, the view from the garden is nothing short of spectacular, making it the perfect place to watch the sunset. We also received helpful insider tips that allowed us to experience the very best of the island. We highly recommend staying here. You’ll fall in love with the photos of this Airbnb, just imagine how incredible it is in person.
